Super stay at this hotel. They are punching high with really great service from everyone I came into contact with during my stay, from the check in staff, people at the gym and random members of staff who I walked past. The pool and spa area are nice. The car park was packed so I was worried it might be noisy at night, but I had no issues and would definitely stay here again.

fabulous relaxing stay, with use of the spa-fire, ice and relaxation massage. It was a little bit stressful trying to get the massage, fire and ice booked at the beginning. As the initial conversations with the booking team told us there was limited availability for the spa and massage even though we were booking 4 weeks in advance. After some further calls we agreed to have treatments at 11 and 12pm with lunch at 2pm, yet we were still without a fire and ice booking as we were told it’s full booked for our date. I asked if they had a reserve list which they didn’t, this was disappointing to hear as we were residents and stopping over at the hotel. we decided to call the day before to check everything was ok before our stay and mention the lack of fire and ice and were then told we could use the fire and ice from 9:45am. it’s a shame this lack of planning and allocation affected our excitement of arriving on the day. The fire and ice experience and the massage was amazing, however the pool became very busy between 12-4pm and didn’t feel very exclusive at all. There weren’t enough loungers and the pool became very busy with families arriving for afternoon swims.

The Belfry is nice, a bit of a construction site but that didn't get in the way. Food, drinks and staff was great!! When I had a noise problem in my room it was dealt with and I even got a discount of 20% as I didn't sleep much. The pool was ok although looking old, I plan to come back when the new wellness centre is completed. The DJ was great, it as a fun stay. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. There's plenty of parking and electric chargers.

Lovely Hotel! Was given a new room overlooking the 10th hole during the British Masters. The view was incredible! Hotel is clean and modern, the food was faultless. Will definitely return.

Reception staff professional and greeted with a smile. Room could have been cleaner - bird droppings on window and patio furniture. Bathroom was tired and in need of refurbishing. Young female staff serving at Sam’s Bar were not professional. They were more interested in chatting amongst themselves over the last two nights of our stay.

This is a lovely hotel , I did pay a lot more for my stay due to it hosting a major golf event .Even though it was at full capacity it's soo spacious it never felt hectic ..I must mention the fantastic staff ..from the cleaners to the bar staff this hotel is the friendliest ever ..The room was spotless , the bed super comfy ..very child/ dog friendly too ..All in all well done The Belfry ! I hope to be back one day ..Keep up the fab work .

Bar/restaurant is where money has been spent. Rooms extremely tired, no aircon, carpets on all floors are stained and dirty. Plumbing doesn’t work properly, both taps pour hot water. Toilet doesn’t flush. Generator makes loud rumbling sound all night like there’s a constant party going on outside the room. But by far the worse, and check your receipts but you will be charged for walking up to the bar and buying your own drink. The service that YOU provided by standing there, will be on your receipt as a charge which YOU then pay for. Same at breakfast! Buffet breakfast but you will pay £40.70 for two people per day including a service charge! The hotel needs a serious customer service and room overhaul

The lobby is beautiful and when you first walk in you think the stay will be great. But the corridors and rooms are dirty, gloomy and smelly. You definitely don’t feel like you’re in any kind of luxury hotel. The hotel is sprawled over a big area and the rooms are really far from the reception and there is no signage anywhere so I often spent lots of time trying to find everything. Also the room numbers don’t coincide with the floor you’re on or which side of the building you’re on. Also lots of rooms require leaving the building and going through dark areas outside to get to them (unless you want to spend an extra ten minutes walking around the whole building). I have to say that except for the person who checked me in everyone working there is really nice and helpful so that was a plus. But like I said above the hotel needs to definitely be updated. Also lots of things to do for kids like a movie room and rooms with games. Again the rooms were smelly and didn’t feel clean so that was the issue with it.

The hotel rooms are small and hot no air conditioning you are give. Noisy fans. This is not a five star hotel. I had checked in on line so expected to just pick up my keys but has to go through the whole check in process including putting in my credit card again when I had entered it online and the amount had be charged as pending. Getting to the rooms is a warren down dimly lit corridors. Our room was supposed to be a Suoerioe room it was small and premiere in rooms are better. The food in the Grille restaurant which I was told was the best on site when I rang to book a table was either self service or menu. The menu was not that good and food was mediocre. It was very noisy in our room we thought from a disco

I was upgraded to a balcony room yet No pens or stationery. Bed side lights could only be turned off underneath which you needed to be told. A notice needed. No instant coffee only pods with no instructions how to use the machine. No plug close to the full length mirror to dry your hair. No time shown on the tv. Need more milks and sugar for 2 people. Views fabulous down the fairways. Good service when help needed.

Do not book a stay here if you would like any sleep. Particularly if you’ve had the misfortune of being issued room 3203. The room is on the second floor and advertised as sound proof. However was anything but. The noise from the bar was so loud we could just as easily have been inside a club. I rang reception and asked at what time the musics would stop, I was advised 2am. While they did offer me an alternative room, a twin instead of the king I’d booked, I didn’t bother staying as the night had already been ruined. Also note - the Signature king room I had was tiny, anyone over 5ft10 will not be able to stand under the shower as the head is so low, the toilet is positioned so your knees have to be under the sink while on the loo. We also had a broken window and broken blind as well as black marks on the towels. There were no coat hooks nor a hand towel hook. And there was no arm chair and table shown in the photos. Hotels.com customer service has been appalling to resolve getting a refund.

Outstanding stay in the new hotel in a fabulous new room overlooking the 10th fairway. The buffet at the Ryder was excellent value and the breakfast was super. We had a great stay for day 2 and 3 of the British Masters.

Grounds etc seemed well kept and attractive. Plenty of parking - mostly under trees so sap and other “droppings”😉 an issue. Our main gripe is the room we had - we were there for 2 nights to attend a family wedding at another venue and had booked two rooms both the same price. It was as if they were in two different hotels! The room we stayed in was tiny, lots of “people” noise and air conditioning whirring. Tv switched itself off every few minutes, no full length mirror, hot water took,with no exaggeration around 10 minutes to come thru and if you’re 6’ or over you cannot get under the shower head. The shower room itself was very snug. We were also on 3rd floor without a lift.

We were on 1st floor but there is no elevator to the floor. Reception didn't make us aware of the situation nor offered to bring the luggage to the room. No air conditioning in the room either. When brought to reception attention, they offered a fan which was delivered the next day. No room was offereed where some rooms were elevator accessible and had air conditioning. Bathroom was very small and awkwardly desigened where in when you sit on the toilet and your hits the sink. Shower overflows when taking shower and floods the floor. Reception desk was not very helpful and for an expensive resort, you would expect these basic amenities and service. Golf couse though was nice and i did use the driving range twice. I would not recommend this resort at all for stay.

The Belfry is brilliantly well run. The staff are by far the best I've ever met in any hotel in my entire life. Truly brilliant. Friendly, engaging, funny, professional and confident. Proud of where they work and their part in it. Not unctuous just terrific. They should let the managers run the country. And before you dismiss my enthusiasm for the ramblings of someone who doesn't get out. I travel the world always staying at the best hotels. The Belfry was my third that week.

Room was lovely as was all communal areas, spa facilities were nice too. Was let down by room service (used mugs and spoons, missing towels and only replenished after chasing a couple of times. I feel this could be due to the fact there were 3 corporate events. Hotel was busy was Monday and Tuesday, I missed breakfast Tuesday due to late night service. Would recommend as close to NEC which served our purpose. Good reception staff and Jamie in evening service in Buffet was fab!

Check in experience is chaotic and disorganised and unfortunately our staff member was disinterested and didn't give us any information about the resort that would have been useful given the size of it and layout. Room was nice but not as advertised on here or on the Belfry website which was disappointing when paying close to £500 per night. There are areas of the hotel that are tired and dated which is a shame as it has potential to be quite luxurious. The spa is nice but again there are areas that let it down. The spa pool area is very underwhelming and there are used towels and robes everywhere. However, the spa therapists were lovely and our treatments were fantastic. Ice and Fire experience is also more in line with expectations. Main takeaway, it isn't a relaxing, luxurious experience as it is billed... Unfortunately it felt more like a hotel on Blackpool seafront at times. This was most evident on the Saturday evening when Sam's club house was showing the boxing and it was necessary to have 2 doorstaff... I've never experienced anything like that at a 4* resort that is advertised as luxurious and high-end. Overall, we were disappointed and would be hesitant to go back at that price point.

"Another fantastic stay at The Belfry! The service from the room staff was excellent, and a special mention goes to Imogen on the reception team. She provided a warm, professional experience, ensuring everything was seamless—including resolving a previous issue with receiving our bill via email. It’s the little details that make all the difference, and The Belfry continues to impress. We’ll definitely be returning—especially knowing that Mia is welcome in the Sports Bar, making it an even more enjoyable experience!

Main issue was room service was not accessible for over an hour. The phone would just ring out. Upon calling guest services i was assured that they'd be in touch shortly but another 30mins went by with no call. We had a 2 hour window between 2 events and hence i was not happy with being able to seemlessly order room service

We attended the Belfry for a family wedding. Beautiful surroundings greeted us. Our room was quiet and although the outlook wasn't great The room itself was clean and pleasant. The wedding breakfast itself was out of this world, it was silver service all the way, it made the day very special. Because the Belfry is Hugh breakfast was a bit of a challenge although there is a notice telling guest when the best times to come , between 8.30 - 10 am you will be queuing at the door you wont have wait for long the waitress shows you through to your table and on the way are you are shown the self service areas. We did take a deep breath when had 2 single G & T the bill came to £20 which was steep. All in all we had a wonderful time at the Belfry.

Lovely place to stay. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had the buffet in the ryder grill and my husband had the a la carte menu both were excellent and so was the buffet breakfast. The spa and leisure centre were excellent and very clean. Overall an enjoyable stay even though food and drinks are a bit expensive but i guess you're paying for the name .

Great place to stop over after the Open but suprised the check in staff didnt know where the final was being shown given that this is a golf resort. We eventually stumbled upon Sams clubhouse which serves casual food (great wings!) on a lovely patio with amazing views over the golf course.
