Reception Check-in and porter to room very effecient. No O2 mobile phone signal in room. Room size compact. Described as "Superior King", but on entry definitely small and UK "King", ie:- 5ft. wide, not what I was expecting, ie:- 6ft wide. Bathroom not properly cleaned with dirt around bottom of shower screen and black mould on back of door and bottom of door frame rotten and black mould. Bench seating in restraunt had worn out PVC covered cusghions with some of the PVC covering missing. Food for Dinner and Breakfast satisfactory with poor service.

The advertised school holidays parts were not what we were expecting at all.. movie room with popcorn etc - was some dirty bean bags and no film playing. It was in the same room as the games so you couldn’t sit and watch a film. We didn’t find a sweet cart which was advertised. The new pool area is amazing. Great for kids! And very warm. Would definitely recommend. Communal areas could do with an upgrade and the rooms. We ate in the Ryder grill and opted for the sharing chateaubriand - for the price it was we were extremely disappointed, it was quite cold, not presented very well and lacking flavour, but with a toddler past her bedtime we didn’t have the time to send it back and wait for new food. The breakfast choices and quality was also really lacking. The breakfast food was also cold. Overall disappointed with the food here for the price it is

Not what I was expecting at all! The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. I slept very well. When you hear the name Belfy you expect something special but it was a bit of a mix between Butlins and Wetherspoons. We stayed for two nights. Sam’s bar was loud as expected with golfers enjoying well-earned drinks. We tried to book a table for two in the dining area but were told it was first come first served. An hour later we returned to find a table of 16 had been reserved! I was not happy. The main bar had live music which was good but there were lots of drunken groups, including hen do and birthday parties. We also visited the swimming complex where the staff were friendly and helpful and there was something for everyone.

Four of us ordered food at the sports bar, 2 came with in 15 mins, then next 2 took 1hr 10. Every single time you go to the bar, they ass service to this. Everyone that was staying had to ask for it to be removed, staff were pretty miserable. Especially after asking fo the service to be removed. We were woken up at 2am and told we were been too loud, we had the tv on that’s all, not sure what else we can do there. Breakfast was chaos, far too busy. Food ran out very quickly. I heard quite a few other guests complaining about various things. Was very much looking forward to the stay, but somewhat left feeling disappointed.
