Sleep Inn & Suites at Concord Mills

Was pretty much ok, but the breakfast was disappointing. The breakfast is supposed to be until 9:30, but at 8:45 there were certain items missing. When asked was told they would not replace them. Also, you have doors that are supposed to be accessible with your room card. Neither of them would work. So you have to go all the way to the front door.

I called and asked if the pool was open. They promised it was. It was closed when I got there.

Good pool but beds are not comfortable. Don’t get a room above the pool people were in there at all hours and loud

It was clean. I have plenty of space. Had all the amenities. There's a little hotel that was big. The pool closed really early

Check in was great, staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Plenty of parking. Easy access to highway, mall , restaurants.

Pool was filthy

The staff is very professional. I love Angelica and the housekeeping staff. I would recommend this hotel because of them. I did not like the parking due to work trucks including a tractor trailer makes it hard to park.

Bed bugs found in my room the last day of my stay! This ruined my entire experience.

The first room they stuck me in was filthy food on floor pictures missing off wall walls filthy lamps all stained mattresses stained. Then they stuck me in another room next to it same thing filthy floor not swept after they stick me into one more room wasn’t as dirty but bed mattress and lamps stained the lady said she checked it and nothing was wrong with it then she was rude to me said I’m so sorry it’s not up to your standards I was like how is clean not a standard wouldn’t give me my money back so I was stuck and when I went to get my stuff out of my car their was a man leaning on my car and he had his stuff thrown in the hood of my car so I felt unsafe as well very disappointed the pictures they gave kn the web sight are not of this hotel even though it says it is it’s not very misleading I will never go to another sleep inn and suites in my life or anything affiliated with them I really think I need some of my money back I had to go to Walmart and get cleaning supplies and clean it myself . after paying 849.00 you think it would have been clean . I would add the pictures but no place to do so but I will be contacting corporate not that it will do any good they really need to clean up the concord mills hotel it’s bad.

Clean and quiet

This hotel has potential. It requires a deep cleaning as the walls of my room had stains and unknown liquids on them. The carpet smelled old and mildew. The curtains haven’t been washed in a long time. I will say, it is a convenient location.

The property is rather run down. Once you hit the hallway all you could smell was weed. We spotted roaches crawling on the wall and behind the mirror on the wall so we left.

The room was very clean

Not only did we not get the room we booked, there was mold in the bathroom and around the sink. When we checked out (20 minutes after checking in) was told there was nothing they could do.

Staff were nice and pleasant. The room was not clean, sheets look as if someone else had slept on them and not changed, smelled like someone had poured fabulous ( the entire bottle) to cover up a stinky musty smell. I didn’t sleep in the bed and slept in an old office chair. I had booked online because it was close to my work assignment and when I checked in was charged another $100 deposit that I knew nothing about. All this should have been made clear through the booking process. Made for a bad stay with little rest because I felt so uncomfortable

Average hotel, clean but needs some attention to general items in room that are missing. Rooms booked was to have a pull out couch, however not available and two chairs instead. Beds are not queen, doubles. Description when booking versus what was received varied. Greta location, breakfast was good, lots of variety.

My family and I booked this room as a last minute added stay for NASCAR. We decided a few week before to add a day. When booking I chose 6 people, chose my room(which was 2 queens and a sleeper sofa). When I noticed on the receipt that it changed my guests from 6 to 4 I contacted the hotel via app messages. I asked if we have the sleeper sofa and was told no. So I asked if we could add rollaways to accommodate 6. I was told “we have blocked a room for you with sleeper sofa”. When we arrived the room, in fact, did NOT have the sleeper sofa. It had two chairs. We called to ask about the sleeper sofa we were promised. They stated there are no sleeper sofas and said we could have 1 roll away. Do you know how hard it is for 2 people to sleep on a single rollaway ? Absolutely unacceptable. There were others checking in when we were leaving that were told the same thing. Do not state and OFFER sleeper sofa if you do NOT have them. The sink did not drain very fast so it filled up while brushing your teeth. Breakfast was alright. Had all the staples and was a plus to the stay.

There must be ZERO sound proofing at this facility!! Sounded like the interstate traffic (nearby) was literally in the room with us! The a/c unit “white noise” was not even sufficient to drown it out.

AC did not work

Easy check in, got room on the floor and side of hotel I wanted, lots of parking, very close to many restaurants. The parking lot and entrance need a good pressure wash. The room night table lamps need replacing. The electric plugs on the lamps are rusted around and so worn that what you plug in will not match and get power.

It's time to renovate this property.

Location is convenient but it is noisy. The AC unit is loud and the walls are thin to where I could hear peoples conversations next door.

The place needs a little updating.

Am speechless-People don’t always recall what you say but they remember how staff makes them feel.☹️ Hyppolene & Urvi were kind & sweet; please give them a raise & do all you can to keep them! The breakfast attendant was great & we tipped her. Sadly, upon arrival, I had the worst hotel check in experience of my life with Angelica. She exhibited hostility,acting as if she was inconvenienced! We stay in hotels frequently & I’ve never been treated this badly. Her rudeness created tension, caused me to feel very uncomfortable, instantly regretting my decision to stay at the Concord Sleep Inn. Angelica’s negative energy was so pervasive, I actually asked if she was “always this friendly” just to let her know how inappropriate & impolite she was. She started arguing telling me I was instigative & talked over me, never once apologizing. She didn’t want to answer additional questions, insulting me saying that “the older generation didn’t show respect”. Apparently, she was oblivious to the disrespectful manner in which she initially treated me. Not everyone should be working with the public. Perhaps Angelica never had the proper training in how to greet hotel guests? Maybe she had an off night but that’s still not okay . I’ve given workshops on how to properly treat customers! My company would never have hired her. Maybe paying higher wages would attract more caring employees? This is the first time I’ve ever given a review like this. 😔 P. S. The lobby smelled strongly of weed.

I was woke up at 1 am after going to sleep at 11 pm., The woman in the room next to me was yelling and arguing with someone all night after that. I called the front desk 8 times with no answer. I had to call from my cell phone because I didn’t even have a phone provided in the room. I didn’t want to leave my room to go to the desk as I was alone. This is unacceptable. I called the 800 number and they gave me a late check out but by that time I couldn’t fall asleep. I had to drive an additional 5 hours to reach my destination on only 2 hours of sleep. When I questioned the front desk I was told.” Well we’ve had problems with the phone since yesterday. I literally told him, so you knew the phone was having issues and you could have replaced the set. This is downright negligent. I should be compensated for not being able to sleep but 2 hours. I booked the hotel to sleep during travel. Very very disappointed with the response from this hotel

Lady at front desk during check in stayed talking on her phone the entire time complaining about all the check ins from the concert. My room smelled like pot and was NOT clean upon arrival.

The rooms were very nice but it's the front desk clerk, Angelica who was extremely rude and nasty. I was simply asking about the incidental fee and why it was taken out of my account and I hadn't even left the hotel yet. I have stayed at many hotels and it was always "pending/processing but never deducted first. She said very nasty that it will be reapplied in 5-7 business days. She kept talking over me when I was asking a question and she just kept dismissing me. In all my travels I've never met such a rude person like this. I also called the corporate office to let them know about this incident. Maybe she had a bad morning but Like I said to her, she should never talk to customers like that.If she is here when I visit Charlotte next time (and I'm here often to visit grandchildren) I will have to pass and check into another hotel. She is very unprofessional. Love your hotel but if she continues to talk to customers that way you will lose them. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There’s many nearby fast food and restaurant options. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was a good size also.

The attendant was very rude and lack of manners. No customer service skills whatsoever. Handling personal business on the clock. I attempted to get keys for the room that did not work and attendant never tried to assist. And then she refused to give me my deposit back and told me that I would wait on her. I ended up not staying and having to get a hotel room down the street. Inconvenience all the way around.

Horrible Experience – Do Not Stay Here! I had the worst hotel experience of my life here. I booked in advance and specifically requested an early check-in. I was told to arrive by 11 AM and that there would be a fee, which I agreed to. However, when I arrived—traveling with my one-year-old and nine-year-old children—the front desk receptionist, a tall woman with long eyelashes, greeted me with a very rude, “Why are you here? Check-in time is 3 PM.” I explained that I had spoken to someone who instructed me to arrive at 11 AM. She snapped, “I’ve been here all day and I haven’t spoken to anyone,” essentially implying I was lying. Her tone was dismissive and confrontational from the start. Trying to stay calm, I said we could come back at 3 PM but asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere safe while we grabbed lunch. Her response? “What do you think this is? I don’t have time to watch your stuff, I am busy and have things to do!” Then she added, “This is no boogie hotel, we don’t have a luggage room. If you want a boogie hotel, this is not it.” I was absolutely shocked—not only by her unprofessionalism but also by her disrespectful comments about the hotel she works for. I told her that her behavior was unacceptable and left with my kids to find another hotel. I requested a refund that same day, and four days later, it’s still “under review” because they apparently need authorization from the supervisor. This delay is completely unacceptable given the circumstances.

This was a nice hotel for the price, so value was great. Upgraded bath and facility but the bathroom is very small. Has everything you need and is neat and clean but not much space. Overall, a good experience and close to lots of activities. Shopping, dining, Great Wolf Lodge, highway access, etc.

Great Property. Great location, 2 to 3 mins away from Big shopping mall. Fantastic food options from fast food to restaurants. Variety of selections from the free breakfast provided by the Hotel every morning. Great stay.

Staff was prompt and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Great selection at breakfast! Wonderful visit!

This hotel is average. The heat in the room kept blowing out cold air, so my wife and I had to keep changing the setting on the wall unit from heat on to heat auto throughout our stay. The bed was next to a window which made it hard to get in and out of the bed. Due to the bed being so close to the window , cold air was seeping through the window. The breakfast was basic with powder eggs, stale bread and bagels. There weren't many choices to choose from. Our stay was just "OK", we won't stay at this hotel on our next visit to the area.

Room smelled like laundry left in the washing machine too long. Breakfast options were very limited as nothing had been restocked. No milk for the cereal was out. No jelly for toast. Refrigerator for milk and yogurt was empty. No fruit.

It was a comfortable place to spend the night after a concert. There was opened soap by the sink and someone had used a towel before we checked in. The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The eggs were watery, the waffle maker didnt work, but the bacon was good, coffee tolerable. I'm glad theres a Starbucks near by.
