Worst experience I have ever had checking into a hotel. I got dropped off by my Uber driver near the guesthouse entrance as per his GPS, and I still had not received my instructions on how to check in. I sent a message to the hotel through the booking app (recommended communication channel by the app), but got no reply. But worse, I followed my GPS instructions and arrived to the base of around 100 stairs to climb to get to the front door. I had a heavy suitcase and backpack and a hip injury so was not able to do this. I called the hotel to ask for help to find another way to get to the front door. They said I have to walk 10 minutes to get to the front door if I didn't want to climb the stairs. The steep hills, injury, and cobblestone made it difficult. When I got to the destination according to GPS, I still couldn’t locate the front door. I messaged the guest house many times on the app asking for help to find the door, but got no reply. Many strangers tried to help me but couldn't find the door. Finally, 2 strange men said they knew where the door was and I followed then down a dark road, which felt very unsafe. Finally after 2 hours of trying, I found the front door. Here, I had problems both opening the door with the automatic system and the check in didn't work. Many phone calls later, I got checked in. BUT, the elevator was broken. I had to knock on strangers door until I found someone willing to help me carry my bags up. Absolutely horrible experience

As good

Everything was clean and comfortable, and it was a very pleasant stay. Some of the furniture (a shelf, an end table) were breaking down. They were inexpensive, IKEA type furniture, and were perhaps not up to the rigours of rentals. And the corkscrew was broken, which was annoying, but not a serious matter by any stretch. It would have been nice to have a fridge. These are all minor issues, and easily remedied. Overall, the experience was very good.

Arrived with a broken elevator and left seven days later without the elevator having been repaired. Room was clean neighborhood not the best. The building is behind another building and is in a dark corner. It felt unsafe because of the graffiti and trash though we had no incidents.

This property was very nice. Nice area close to the subway system to get anyone in the city only thing which is not a bad thing, there is no staff available physically but if you call the number they pick up and help you with whatever they can. Only stating this because I know there’s people that prefer to have staff at hand as for me it was great.
