Hilton Garden Inn Lexington Georgetown

Great location, clean room. Breakfast buffet not good. Also, made hotel choice based partly on presence of hot tub, but hot tub not working and roped off. That was disappointing.

The bathroom was clean. They had renovations but it was okay. We love the pool area though a little smaller. It was a good stay for my family

It has a hot tub and pool and is right off the interstate. Cattleman's steakhouse is amazing!

The room was nice but the remodeling in the lobby was noisy and inconvenient.

Construction No water at times Too expensive to have all these issues without being told prior to booking.

hot tub, work out room

We stopped there on our way to the Ark Encounter, it was a great stay. Clean rooms, great breakfast and the kids really enjoyed to pool. We loved there was a steak house across the parking lot.

This hotel was rather disappointing, we knew they were doing construction upon arrival, but the dust was absolutely terrible, when he stepped on the elevator, it was everywhere, and all it needed was just to be wiped and cleaned up, do better.

The hotel was under construction. We would not eat there due to the location of the work. We should have been told ahead of time.

Lobby was very nice and front desk staff was friendly. Room was nicely decorated but had musty odor on entering that we thought was from A/C. We later discovered evidence of older leak around sprinkler on wall backing up to bathroom, wet spot on floor between that wall and bed, and leak around base of bathroom sink faucet that got everything sitting on counter on that side wet overnight. Breakfast buffet not included and not worth $10 per person - poor selection, lukewarm coffee, overflowing trash can by coffee table, and attendant that looked more like a guest than anyone involved in food service. Disappointing stay at usually reliable Hilton Garden.

The room we stayed in wasn't the cleanest - the bathroom didn't appear to have been cleaned/restocked between whoever stayed before us and our arrival. Also, twice in the middle of the night, the fire alarm was triggered. There was a church youth group staying there and I suspect someone was playing a prank, but it was incredibly annoying. There was no direction from the staff on where to go or what to do, so half the hotel evacuated and the rest were in their rooms staring down at the parking lot. We got our stuff and left after the second one. I wouldn't stay here again.

There was something sticky on the wooden headboard and French fry on the floor, so the housekeeping is questionable. The guy at the morning desk was gruff.

The room was older and the shower had dark mold at the bottom and walls. Other than that the bed was amazingly comfortable!!

Room was very clean, staff was nice & helpful. Only issue was website said room would have a Keurig but it didn’t. Has a small regular coffee maker. We just used the one in our friends room. Other than that, the stay was pleasant. Will definitely stay there again.

May have been Expedia 's fault, but when I booked 3 rooms they put each one under a different name so was told I only had one room. This was already late and we had 4 young children with us to make matters worse. After about 30-45 minutes, we finally figured out the problem and got 3 rooms all on different floors. Then around 2:30 a horrible noise woke me up and continued for about 2 hours. After about 30 minutes, I got dressed and went to see where noise was coming from. It was something going on in the mechanical room. I went to front desk and told lady to which she responded, "Oh is that happening again?". She was only person there and couldn't do anything about it. It also woke up my granddaughter, which meant I only got a couple of hours of sleep that night. Never staying at Hilton Gardens again! So frustrating!

We had to pay $10 for a buffet breakfast. Every hotel we stay at always has a free breakfast. The room was very small and the furniture was dirty, the chair had stains on it. I didn't want to even put my luggage on it. The decorating was outdated. I was very disappointed. However, the staff was very pleasant.

Clean and comfortable no frills hotel in Georgetown. Code to Toyota for my business needs and meant I didn’t have to mess with driving in to Lexington. It badly needs an update, but it is clean and everyone working there are very nice and provide good service.

The ladies at the counter were not welcoming and were slow in their help to us. We were not impressed with their service.

Terrific hotel, staff always there to help

We arrived and no one was at the front desk. We waited and when no one was around we had to go searching to find someone to check us in. After that the stay was good. Our room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. My recommendation is if the front desk clerk has other duties at least have some way to notify them they have guests to attend to. It wasn’t very appealing to have to look for a desk clerk.

Although check in was supposed to be at 3:00, our room wasn't ready. We left and returned at 5:00. The room still wasn't ready. The front desk agent was unable to give us an approximate time when it would be ready. Her solution was to cancel our reservation because they were fully booked and they did not have an available clean room. We left our luggage at the office and asked if they could call us when our room was ready. We returned around 7:00 and we were finally able to check in. We never did get a phone call. The room seemed fine at first, however over the next three days we killed at least 8 stink bugs. No idea where they were coming from. With the exception of one time, we were never acknowledged by the desk staff when we entered or left the lobby. They were not dealing with other guests at the time. Additional interactions with the front desk staff included - we had no soap for the shower and the coffee pot in the lobby was empty at 9:00 am. Both times, the staff appeared to be irritated because they had to get up from their chair. The lobby of the hotel had an overwhelming perfume smell and the ice machines on the fourth and third floors did not work. We travel to Georgetown, Kentucky, at least couple of times a year. We will not be staying at this Hilton again nor would we recommend it to family or friends.

Booked a stay here because it was only a few miles from house and my children wanted to swim and stay in a hotel “like on vacation” After checking in we were told they had no vending machines but we could purchase snacks at desk but “good luck because we have nothing and we are out of everything” We were woken up at 10-1045pm to 4 men beside us (room 406, we were 408) blasting music, slamming doors going in and out of room up and down the hall from bar area. Tried calling lobby but desk didn’t answer. My 4 and 3 year old were then woken up at 12, 1230, 1 , 130am to when I finally went down to lobby with no shoes on to get the desk to get them to stop and stated that if it continues we would pack up at 1 am and just go home since we lived two miles away and were not getting a quiet fun experience like we thought.. she walked with me and could hear the music blaring.. it continued after desk asked them to stop. Continued until about 215-230. We left the hotel with zero sleep and us 4 were actually even more tired than before we got to the hotel for our “relaxing” stay. We bring a box fan and even over the loud fan on highest level it woke me and the children up so you can only imagine how loud they were. When checking out the next morning we were not asked “how was your stay” or when thanked for coming. And when I addressed what happened and that I had to get the lobby staff unclimbed after multiple attempts to call lobby and no one answering he said nothing but “oh”

Our rooom was cold and Front Desk switched us to another room right away. Appreciated their promptness in rectifying the situation. We slept well that night and breakfast options were wonderful the next morning. We will stay there again!

Great service

When we enter the hotel and the receptionist told us we would have to wait because the room was not ready. We arrived at 4:00 so I couldn’t understand why the room was not ready. She never checked back on us as we sat in the lobby and she proceeded to wait on other guests. My brother had to get someone else to help us.

We had a last minute change due to a not so pleasant hotel previously booked. We were able to book a room, drive another hour and were so happy with the hotel. We were close to restaurants, (walking distance) and near attractions. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Not sure about kid friendly, everything at a Hilton has to be paid for. $75 for a small dog. Had it not been in the exact location we needed I would have stayed somewhere else.

Too close to the highway noisy but easily able to get to a restaurant by walking.

The property and staff were very nice but we were not told there was a charge for breakfast until my husband got a plate and started to get food. When we checked in we were told “Breakfast is served from 6-10am”, with no mention of an extra cost. It should be made more clear that it is not included.

The breakfast buffet was gross, a rip off for $10/person. Our room was supposed to sleep 5 but barely slept 4. Room and hotel were clean.

The staff was very friendly. The fact that you have to pay $10 for a normal hotel breakfast seems wrong to me. Most places offer free breakfast. Also pool and spa was advertised but there was no spa. Beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean. Only bar soap offered, no body wash. I booked three rooms, my family all agree with this review.
