There seemed to be some remodeling going on while we were there -- rolls of carpet in the hallways -- but nothing that stopped us from getting around. The ice machine on the second floor was out of order so we had to find a different one. Again, not a big deal overall. Breakfast was pretty limited.

the lobby restroom had an out of order sign and one of the two elevators was out of order for a few days

Very loud construction noise, on hotel, at the crack of dawn, was very loud and very unpleasant. Will stay again, once remodel is finished.

Pool is okay but has way to much chlorine in it

The staff were nice as usual, and the room was clean. I visit the area regularly and this hotels location is convenient. One reason I pick this hotel is for the fitness room. However, it needs a deep clean including the yoga mat, and new wipes since it seems like the entire package is moldy. It doesn’t make sense how that could be, but there are black spots no matter how many are pulled out. I appreciate the breakfast that is provided. I would like to ask for paper products rather than styrofoam or plastic. Thanks for considering the suggestions.

the first room they assigned us had something spilled on the carpet that was molding. i found a spider crawling on the pillow and the air conditioner didn't work. we asked to switch rooms and the second one was much cleaner, didn't smell musty and overall was what i was expecting for the nightly rate. the beds were quiet worn and had a dip from years of wear but the sheets were clean and there were mattress covers and no signs of bed bugs! the bathroom sink had recently been updated and was nice and clean. breakfast options were limited to the highly processed, pre-packaged items normally found in hotels. the pool area was decently maintained, but it was very cold. my kids didn't even spend more than 15 mins in the pool before they decided they were frozen. (mind you, we stayed there the middle of Aug so it was not outside factors influencing water temps). over all i give it 2.5 stars and would stay somewhere else next time.

Room was great. Pool was disgusting and didnt look like it had been cleaned. Breakfast was atrocious and the hotel should be ashamed. Came there to swim but NO WAY WAS THAT HAPPENING.

This was one if the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Expedia’s site claimed this hotel had in-room cribs and when we arrived, we were informed it did not. This was horribly inconvenient since we were traveling with an infant and were counting on having a crib to put her in. When we entered our room, my girlfriend found a pubic hair in the sink. When she tried to hang her tshirt on the bathroom door hook, the hook came off. The room was tiny. The base of the beds was a metal drum with a bar around it that looked like a futon. And the mattress itself was caved in on one side and terribly uncomfortable to sleep on. The beds were also unusually small. There was no closet to hang clothes—We’ve never seen this in a hotel before. The room’s only chair had pen scribbling’s all over the back of it. The hotel’s continental breakfast was a joke. It started at 5:30 and ended at 9, which is too early, and there was no hot food options, just cold cereal and muffins. And the breakfast was one of the major reasons we decided to stay here. The garbage can at breakfast was overflowing to the point it was falling on the floor and none of the staff came out to empty it. The staff was rude and unhelpful, with all but one person there unable to speak or understand English. We will never stay at a Day’s Inn again and would like our money back.

The main areas were visibly dirty; the front desk staff on the morning we left was not friendly; there were several bugs in our room.

when i booked this hotel ofcourse i looked the pictures but in real it was a different thing! the room was too dirty! especially bathroom! it was all broken , i will not recommend anyone to take this hotel thank you

Children running wild in the hallways, riding the elevators, screaming and racing in the hallways in large numbers, people smoking at every entrance and exit, room had no drainage in bathroom shower, smelled of stale beer, low grade hotel, skip this and move on.

Pool was absolutely freezing, we were told nothing could be done about it. Bathroom in our room was dirty, hair all over the floor, puke or something like it splattered on the side of the tub and someone’s used bar of soap in the shower. I was completely disgusted. We ended up going to the store to get disinfectant wipes to clean our entire bathroom. As if that wasn’t bad enough some friends that also stayed had food eaten from their fridge when the cleaning staff checked the room while we were gone for the day. First and last stay at a Days Inn for me.

My stay was ok. Room needs some maintenance- phone was filthy, inside microwave was disgusting as if something exploded but was never cleaned up, window was full of handprints, tub had rust on drain, vent in bathroom was full of dust. Ceiling had numerous patched spots. Bed frame had an inch of dust on it- At least the sheets were clean and a reasonable continental breakfast.

Started off with the front desk lady being pretty rude while checking in. Then as we walked to our room, you could just tell it had not been properly kept up. Paint missing in several areas, trash laying on the floor, the smell of smoke in the hallways. When we got to our room, it was fine for the price we paid, just beat up. The bathroom was fairly dirty, hairs on the floor and in the shower.

The property was dated but clean. Our king bed needed a new mattress.

The rooms only had double beds, no queen. Breakfast options were very poor. Bathroom was clean but exceptionally tinyà. Elevator was nice and roomy, clean and prompt.

I liked the pre-check in and post check in communications. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean. Everything was pretty good. A couple of minor things to take note of: Low water pressure in the bathroom sink - the shower was ok, just the sink. And the AC unit seemed very loud, like it might be on its last legs - only when the AC compressor kicked on. Someone might need to check that (rm 204). Otherwise, all was good. I enjoyed your pool too. I liked the mural above the beds too - nice touch there!

Seems I got the last room in the hotel. Right behind the front desk. Exposed drywall on the ceiling. Harsh lighting. Pro: the bed was comfortable and the ac worked.

The only problem was the internet wasn’t working,had to hotspot from my phone.

Our only complain was the beds. They were horrible. The platform the mattress is on is basically tin. Everytime we would move in the bed it would make a terrible sound. It was like sleeping on a bad futon. None of us got good sleep. As always you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was kept well stocked.

Room was quiet w air conditioning on TV remotes didn’t work even after changing w desk 2 times. Finally switched room for our last night there.

The bed was stiff (honestly personal preference). The room looked a like a dungeon because of only one light that was located at the front door and you are only provided a lamp to fill the rest of the room.

Cleanliness was fine. WiFi was horrible, no closet or place to hang clothes, really? No water pressure in sink

Comfortable bed and clean!

There wasn’t anywhere to put your things, ie to hang things up. I had my room booked for 4 people and got two bath towels and two wash clothes and when we ask for more it seemed to be a problem. Front desk wasn’t very friendly at first either. The breakfast area was super small and the desk clerk then was not friendly and was super rude to the boys. And the bed was rock hard and on springs

Blind sided with $100 cash deposit required at check-in, hotel refused to would accept a credit card deposit. Refused to provide receipt showing i paid cash deposit. Seriously concerned that employee will steal money or this is a scam!!!

The staff was very friendly in every interaction I had with them. The location is very convenient, with plenty of amenities just a short drive away.

Requested a handicap room; didn't get one. No working lights; told front desk, they handed us light bulbs. Requested new room with couch; staff refused to move our belongings. Room was never cleaned on our 3rd day of stay. Asked to speak w/manager, told by front desk worker she the only one on site; manager was out of town

Upon check in first room was not made up ready. Second room had coffee maker but no cups to make coffee with. Had a microwave but no utensils of any kind in the room. After 1st day of room not getting cleaned I asked if it would be cleaned the next day. Advised no only check outs got cleaned the next day. I scheduled a 7 day stay. After still not getting room cleaned I called the office and was told you have to ask for your room to be cleaned. Had to go to lobby to get drinking cups everyday. Had to ask for toilet paper to be replenished even though I had asked every remaining day that the room be cleaned. The internet didn't work the entire stay. Very poor experience.

Staff was helpful and caring. I would recommend this property to friends and if we need to stay in this area again will book here.

We like this place and enjoyed our visit. We wanted to extend our stay. But it seems that the property manager allows one of the front desk employee to behaved in a rude unprofessional manner. This issue has been addressed before. This employee is in her mid 40’s, dark short hair brown skin. Now that tells that the management never takes action on teaching this lady a proper education on customer service. She’s the face of the company to prove better customer service to all customers that comes in the door. Heck I’ll be willing to sacrifice 8-hrs to teach this lady what it takes to be a great customer service professional. But Billy or Bobby whatever her name is gotta go.

Had lengthy conversation at front desk re staying on same room for another night as was driving 24hrs non stop Yet at 11am had a knock on foor asking why i havent checked out!! Im staying and had paid for an additional night Dont reception communicate with H/K?

Loved the service and friendliness. Beds were confy. Being there for a week with the same food was blah, but their staff service was super friendly.

I will never stay here. I had a reservation for a room and upon arrival, I got an emergency call informing me I had to return home immediately. I had checked in, gone into the room for less than five minutes and didn’t touch anything. I went to the front desk to explain what happened and they declined to refund any of my money. Also, the hotel was unclean and there were people loitering in the parking lot and drinking alcohol. It was not a safe hotel at all. Awful. Do not recommend if you value your safety and if you have an emergency and need to leave, you will lose all your money. Expedia was not able to help me get my money back either.

Hotel is a bit outdated but perfect to stay few days. Waffles, unlimited drinks, fruits for breakfast. Excellent location, close to Walmart, Sam's, Dollar Tree etc. Just one hour away from Makoqueta caves (a must see)

The hotel and area around is clean and safe. The hotel is one block off 380 so very convenient to get to. Breakfast was sufficient with several options. If you are looking for a bigger breakfast there are restaurants in the area. The hotel met all of our needs. I recommend it.

Staff was pleasant to deal with and the beds were comfortable. We were not able to take advantage of the free breakfast as there was a long line and no place to sit. Strange smell in the building. Bathroom floor was sticky. Limited parking. Overall ok but I wouldn’t recommend. Maybe we just caught them on an off night.

I was disappointed that the picture of the breakfast room was a far cry from the room that is actually at this particular hotel. Poor selection. Cold cereal, packaged Danish, some bananas. Only hot food was 'make your own waffle'.

It was so convenient for tryouts and the tournament we had to go to. Wonderful breakfast and very helpful staff.

The hotel was reasonably clean, but barely. The microwave buttons, the hair dryer, all had visible dirt on them. Breakfast was one of the worst I’ve seen in a while—the waddle batter abnormal and liquid (unusable) for 2 days. No protein, no attendants, just unhealthy. But, cheap and clean enough, room nice enough. No frills.

Not awful. The pubes on the bathroom floor were a turn off. Everything else was ok. Furniture and linens were shabby, but clean as far as I could tell. All area need to be painted. Breakfast was disappointing, the only hot option was the waffle maker and it always had a line of people waiting to use it, so no waffles if you’re in a hurry.

Limited breakfast option. Toast/bagel, toaster and spreads would be nice.

The breakfast choices are limited and not very good. Bed comfortable. Cleanliness was not as it should be.

The beds were uncomfortable, the towels were stained, as was the bathtub. The batter for the waffles was not the right consistency and therefore the waffles didn't cook right and that was the only semi-decent option for breakfast. The hotel clearly hasn't been redone for decades. Aside from the convenience of location for us on our way to Minnesota, this hotel was terrible.
