Hallways elevator and common areas smelled like pee. We borrowed a plug in that was by the front desk and put it in our hallway. The elevator was unacceptable. We took the stairs after the first use. Carpet was filthy.

Waited at front desk for 20 minutes before being waited on. Asked to see room prior to checking in because two people came to front desk asking for towels and were told there were none. Went to room and comforter had a big stain on it as did 2 pillows. Was taken to another room that was just as bad and had no towels. Area beside bed hasn’t been vacuumed in months. Asked for refund and left. Very disgusting hotel.

Bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean and desk attendant was very pleasant. Breakfast was good with waffles, toast and muffins, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice, cereal, and yogurt. There were lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. Would stay here again.

The staff was great, but the condition of the hotel was not good. There was loose paint on the carpet where they did not use covering. There was a dead bed bug on the inside lining of the sheets. The pillow cases were dirty.

We had no working smoke alarms (they were off the wall and on a table with the batteries out). When I asked the front desk (after waiting 10 minutes because she was smoking out front) she indicated there were no batteries but she would tell the manager at 2 am and let us know. Never heard anything. No bedding for pull out couch or extra pillows and curtains were pulled off the window. No soap in one of the bathrooms so asked for more and they didn’t have any. Loud guests and music late into the night.

Not the worst experience ever but not great. Definitely would not recommend to anyone! Pros: bed was new & comfortable. Room pretty clean. No bugs. Cons: mostly everything else. Started with check in process - waited for the 2 workers to finish a conversation then the first words spoken were "do you have a reservation?" Not a hello, or how can we help you type of greeting. After giving my name, the 2 workers did things on the computer while ignoring us. Was asked to sign a paper and then was handed two key cards. Nobody checked ID, confirmed reservation length, told us about amentities, etc. Hallway smelled like cigarettes but room didn't smell. Shower barely worked first 2 days (flow was a trickle) but started miraculously working the 3rd day. TV did not work ever. When reported, we were asked to do the channel set up. A worker? (not sure who was a worker and who wasnt as they all wore street clothes and no name tags) came to do channel set up but it still didnt work afterwards. Noticed a stain on the bedsheets. When we told front desk, they handed us unfolded sheets from a large bin - expecting us to change our own sheets. Housekeeping never visited during 3-night stay. Returned 1 night to find staff partying in parking lot w/portable grill. Curtains would not completely close & had to use a hair clip (1sr flr, facing parking lot). Dilapidated furniture, only 2 hangers. No iron. Didnt look at breakfast due to how shady everything else was. Unable to get receipt.

We were there for a baseball tournament. Just my son and myself. Hotel is old, run down, and worth about half the cost they charge to stay there. When we checked in there was one person working who seemed overwhelmed. She assigned us a room and when we opened the door it was an occupied room with a dog who started barking at us! The room was a total mess, looking like someone had been staying there a while. When I went back to the desk, I was met with "it wasn't me who assigned the rooms, it was a co worker". The desk worker then said that they were oversold on rooms and talked to the person who was in that room and he said that he and his mother didn't want to switch rooms and they started talking about that. I had to interrupt to say, "Do I have another room or not?" After about 10 minutes they assigned me another room. The luggage cart going to the room was broken and barely made it to the room. The room was okay. The best part was the great AC. The curtains were broken and held together in one place at the top with a paper clip and electrical-type tape. My son had to stand on a chair to 'fix' the clipped part so the curtains would completely close. The TV turned on from the back of it, but the remote did not work at all. Breakfast the next day was decent, but there was no coffee! All the coffee containers were empty.

On-site staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good with decent variety. Waffle maker, scrambled eggs, brown and serve sausage, biscuits and gravy. Plus bread/toast, bagels, prepackaged muffins, milk, oj, Apple juice, yogurt. Food was plentiful. The property was in decent condition overall, but was a bit shabby in the room. Bathroom had stained shower curtain and towels. Cracked plaster over shower, screw holes in walls, sink faucet missing an aerator. Small issues but just looks a bit worn down. That said, the room was clean and comfortable. Quiet even though it is in a busy part of town. Near restaurants and shopping. Easy to find and well lit parking. The price was very reasonable. One issue was that the online check-in said earliest check-in was 4pm and checkout was 12pm. Turns out check-in was 3pm; checkout was 11am. That’s Wyndham’s fault. Not the property’s. (Maybe call the property if you want to know the accurate checkin/checkout times.

The room arrangement didn’t allow for the sofa bed to be extended with the doors to the main bedroom open, but it was nice to have two bathrooms in the family suite. The staff was very accommodating in bringing sheets for the sofa bed/towels for the family (there weren’t enough linens in a the start). The bed was comfortable. It was a nice place to stay for a night.

Not a great place... Cleanliness is okay but staff was not helpful during my state or after and it's been over two weeks they took the $50 incidental fee and have yet to refund it back to me even though they have said that they had processed it my card has said that they have not actually truly processed it so I have not gotten my money back that they said I would get back

You can tell the owners care about the property. It's an old facility, but taken care of. Aside from the sticky floor, our room was clean & comfortable. The pool was perfect for my 7 year old & never anyone else in it. We didn't get down for breakfast before 9am most days, but there seemed to be a nice variety. Lots of shopping & dining supper close by. Try Granite City for a meal - yum! Definitely would stay here again, for the money savings vs other options.

I liked that there were many stores and food locations conveniently located near the hotel. However, the hallways to the rooms — including the rugs, walls, and doors — would benefit from a more modern design to create a better overall appearance. I believe that with these updates, the hotel would attract many more reservations.

On-site staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good with decent variety. Waffle maker, scrambled eggs, brown and serve sausage, biscuits and gravy. Plus bread/toast, bagels, prepackaged muffins, milk, oj, Apple juice, yogurt. Food was plentiful. The property was in decent condition overall, but was a bit shabby in the room. Bathroom had stained shower curtain and towels. Cracked plaster over shower, screw holes in walls, sink faucet missing an aerator. Small issues but just looks a bit worn down. That said, the room was clean and comfortable. Quiet even though it is in a busy part of town. Near restaurants and shopping. Easy to find and well lit parking. The price was very reasonable. One issue was that the online check-in said earliest check-in was 4pm and checkout was 12pm. Turns out check-in was 3pm; checkout was 11am. That’s Wyndham’s fault. Not the property’s. Can't take breakfast to your room. Not enough tables for all guests to sit in the dining area. My shower didnt work. I had to wash my hair in the bathroom sink. There was no hair dryer. I needed to iron my clothes. There was no iron or ironing board. The TV wouldn't work. I found out when i got there that i had to pay a $50 deposit on the room.

Very nice just terribly outdated. No where to charge our phones or tablets. Nothing much left on the breakfast bar at 8:00 and we thought it was supposed to last till 9:00.We asked for more cups when convenient for them. Never got any. Personal very friendly.
