Best Western Courtview Hotel

Staying at this hotel was nice, though going during what seemed like a remodel isnt the best idea. All water faucets when first turned on spit out brown water for about a full minute, was gross and didnt really make taking a shower very clean feeling. The hot tub was not in working order either which was a bummer. Also had to hookup my own cable in the room. The rooms were clean and well kept. Would MAYBE consider again if they arent trying to remodel, bur otherwise theres definitely more options out there.

Arrived to find lobby in the middle of renovations. Room was large and appeared refurbished however the toilet seat look melted/heat damaged and black blobs of (?) grout in toilet pan that didn’t flush. Gym closed due to renovations. Breakfast was basic but nice. Carpet seemed new but already has a couple of stains. Towels were fresh and soft, clean room. Could be great but management need to check quality of workmanship finish, i.e sharp metal strips in the lift.

Enjoyed a larger room, and having a small kitchen. They are remodeling but that didn’t affect our stay, except that the small gym was closed. Overall our stay was comfortable and the room was clean. Each staff member we encountered went above and beyond with kindness and helpfulness which we appreciated. Location seemed ok as far as safety and ribs very conveniently located right off the highway.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great. The pool area was really nice.

Liked the decor and cleanliness an room size. We had no bar stools to sit and eat at bar, L.R. tv didn't work, to noisy at pool side room and curtains didn't close completely. And hot tub wasn't working! Not much choice at breakfast.

Please be aware the owner discriminates against customers based on the city and state they live in. This may lead to separate “refundable” holds on your card greater than the overall value of the stay in addition to the typical incidental charges. The pool is not only outside which you can see from the pictures but is also not heated. The exercise room is currently under repairs and unusable. Breakfast was good but they did run out of several items including coffee and juice within the first 45 minutes of service which were not replaced by the time we left the breakfast room. Getting to the hotel was convenient off the highways but beyond that I would not recommend this hotel. We will not stay again.

We had an absolutely fantastic overnight stay at Greenstay Hotel in Springfield, MO! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was a breeze, with the staff being incredibly welcoming and efficient. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, making it the perfect retreat for our family. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel’s location is ideal—just a quick 10-minute drive to the Wonders of Wildlife, which was a highlight of our trip. The kids had an absolute blast in the outdoor pool, and it was a joy to see them having so much fun. Breakfast was another standout, offering a wide variety of delicious options that pleased everyone in our group. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Greenstay Hotel to anyone visiting Springfield. We’ll definitely be back!

BED BUGS! First off, at check in, they assigned us to a room that doesn’t exist. After searching for the room with no luck we returned to front desk and the other lady gave us a new room number. She gave us a double bed room when I booked a king. We went back to the desk again and she blamed Expedia saying they sent over the reservation as a double bed. I showed her my reservation and she said they did not have any king rooms left. About 10:30 at my husband finds bed bugs in his bed. We left and were told we would be refunded. We will see if that actually happens. We were supposed to run a race the next morning but after having to drive around looking for another place we didn’t get to bed til 1:00 am. Then slept horrible checking every little itch. Needless to say we didn’t make our run. This hotel ruined our trip.

Room had a dead roach in the corner of the bathroom.

This room was horribly dirty. I was surprised not to find any bugs as I assume that is why the remodel appearance. My room smelled like pee and the lobby and all through the halls smelled like some sickeningly floral scent so strong I could taste it. The breakfast was extremely lacking but at least the sausage less gravy was thick and not watery. Coffee was good. Orange juice was good. No option for waffles or anything besides biscuits or plain watery eggs. I checked out a day early because I had to clean the bathroom and the walls before I could even shower. Or use the facilities. Parking lot was some what sketchy feeling as well.

I eliminated the largest bed bug 4 inches from my face. I took a picture and showed it to the desk clerk at checkout. I also repaired the toilet X 2 so it would not run all night. I was also forced to utilize the greatest self control to sleep in the bed with the dead Cimex Lectularius. I had just driven 13 hours straight and totally exhausted. How can I send the company the evidence? Dawn

This is the 2nd time I stayed here. The 1st time was great!! This time our room had an ant problem, so I woke up to ants crawling on me and they got in our luggage. The front desk seemed unconcerned. The 1st morning this trip, our breakfast was good, but there was no waffle iron like the last time. The 2nd morning, they were out of bagels, muffins, yogurt, and coffee. When I asked for them to be replaced, I was told no. This was frustrating considering I booked this hotel because it included a good breakfast selection. The pool is nice!!

We got to our room, and we were only there for maybe 10 minutes and a giant roach came crawling out from under the bed. So we left. They refunded our money, thankfully, but if there are giant roaches coming out in broad daylight where there’s no food then there’s no way we’re staying there. Front desk staff was very nice though and apologized, but I just couldn’t stay there after that.

I have never experienced bed bugs before this place

The exterior was not promising but we gave it a chance because I had already booked and pre-paid. There were 3 men on the sidewalk right outside the front door drinking bud light. (Tuesday night) I went in with my toddler to check in. The printer was broken at check in so I was told to get a receipt at checkout. No biggie. The lobby was small and old but clean and quiet from what I could tell. The pool also looked well kept but an obviously older hotel. Our room was (seemingly old but) just fine. Bathroom was clean and a microwave and refrigerator were provided. I noticed 2 tiny ants on the floor before we went to bed. Didn’t think much of it. Killed them and carried on. Went to breakfast in the morning and came back about 30 tiny ants. Mostly in the tables but some on the bed too. We didn’t have plans to leave until checkout but it was still early and I was not ok with hanging out in our room anymore. We called the front desk but they informed us they couldn’t really do anything about it until we got out of the room. So, we packed and left. I asked for a refund but of course was told to go through the booking party. I’m still working on getting ahold of anyone at Travelocity to resolve this. I don’t recommend this hotel. Not even a little bit. Management definitely didn’t go above and beyond to rectify any of what happened or else I may feel differently.

The hotel had been updated recently but not all of it. There was damage on drywall near the shower and mold. The bed was very hard and I tossed and turned all night.

I loved that the room had a kitchen and separate bedroom. It was so cute and cozy it felt like an apartment, not a hotel.

Room was amazing and so much room! Only negative was the AC in bedroom for some reason wasn’t working properly. It kept coming on AC full blast, they did offer sending someone, but it was late so just unplugged and was comfortable.

Bed was comfortable, didn’t eat… thank you! Few of the furniture needs some updating. TV in the living room area not working. However, all in all I enjoyed everything here. Great staff. Friendliness, quiet. Peaceful.

Hotel itself was clean and appeared to be having repairs. The room was fairly clean. The pull out sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable.

I liked the easy access to Hwy. 65 and to shopping and food. I liked the updates to the building. I liked the staff and the breakfast options. The place was very clean. The only thing I did not like was that the furniture in the living room area of the larger suite I was in could have been more up-to-date, and there could have been more seating. The barstools were very scratched up and needed to be reupholstered. The rest of the place and updates were great.

My bed was the worst ever. a king bed so worn out that it was like sleeping in a hole on both sides you had a hump in the middle. This morning I ache all over. Other than wanting a good nights sleep lol room was good.

Our rooms weren’t ready at check-in time and we waited over an hour for them to be ready. What made it even more frustrating is we called a hour before check-in time to ask if we could check in early. We were told the rooms weren’t cleaned yet but still hadn’t started when we arrived at check-in time The lobby is under renovation so the only place we could sit and wait was by the pool. The comfortable couches by the pool were wet so we tried relaxing on the non-cushioned lounge chairs. We were in Springfield for the family weekend at MSU visiting our daughter and had our other two daughters with us. We had all planned on taking a nap before going to the evening football game but now couldn’t do that because our rooms were being cleaned. This definitely affected the mood of everyone. After the game we were very tired and once we laid down we realized there was no comforter on our king size bed, only layers of sheets and one slightly thicker sheet/blanket. I was cold most of the night so I didn’t sleep great. Our girls had a separate room from us which we were originally told was close but later realized that while they were on the same floor they were in two different ends of the hotel. Our girls are all grown so there was no problem in that regard but would have liked to have them at least on the same side of the hotel in order to have a little more family time. Regarding the hour + wait for our room there was an apology but never any offer to give us a discount or anything.

The front desk attitude at check in was less than desirable. They gave away my room to another guest and had to scramble to find a room. The dark haired girl had the most condescending attitude about buying snacks or asking for an extra blanket. Someone was running up and down the hallway above us in boots at 3am. That was a rude awakening. It shook the whole hotel. Rooms were clean but small. Breakfast wasnt bad but no attendant so it was an absolute mess with trash overflowing. Overall it was average at best and okay for just one night but definitely not worth $150.

Great staff

They are updating this property so don’t look for the picture you see online. It’s very clean staff is wonderful they went above and beyond keeping us safe when the tornado sirens started going off. They were calm cool and collected and extended our checkout time till we felt safe to head out. And yes a tornado did touch down 5 minutes away from us. You will be safe and treated like family here!!

The surrounding area looks run down, and the actual building has no sign on front so you kind of assume it is greenstay. Inside property looks nice, room is clean.

Among the many hotels I've visited the last couple of years, this has been one of the better ones to stay, and one that my family will continue staying at. It's right by the highway and close to dining and shopping. It's clean ans I've had no issues.

The hotel was clean, beds were VERY comfortable and the front desk staff during check in and throughout our stay were so friendly! The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. At 8am on a Sat (when breakfast started at 7) there should be tons of items and stocked. Multiple things were gone (eggs, biscuits, sausage) and we waited but no one came to restock. The waffle maker didn’t work appropriately and there was no nonstick spray so everything stuck and came out burned. That would be my only complaint was the breakfast. I’d stay here again with my family though and we all slept well and our room was very nice.

There was construction happening at the hotel that we were not informed about. The work was very loud, which I understand is normal. However, we were not informed that there was no breakfast offered due to the construction. Also, our room was not vacuumed once during our 4 night stay. There was a piece of paper on the floor in the living room area and was there the entire stay. Not what I would have expected

Many things didn’t work, plugins. Coffee wasn’t hot at breakfast. Frig was definitely a plus. Needed many updates, but did look like they were working on it. It was fine for the 1 night we were there.

The hotel was pretty good for the most part but the breakfast was not good at all. Between my biscuits that I’m sure was a hockey puck in its former life to the powdered eggs that will most likely serve as a bowel prep in a couple hours… I would have been better off with getting an egg McMuffin.
