Extended Stay America Suites - Elizabeth - Newark Airport

Okay hotel. Good for a night halt. Ihop and rubh tuesday in 2 mins walk. Beasides that didn’t like the location.

Not a well kept property. Unhygienic.

Room smelt like some had spent the last decade smoking there. Other than that, room was very comfortable for its price.

After having been told by the hotel they were overbooked (despite having our reservation confirmed), my family and I (3 adults) were sent to a room with a single bed that, according to the personnel who checked us in, “could have had (or not) had a sofa bed.” When we went into the room (#214) it was in an absolutely disgusting state. There was indeed a sofa bed, but after pulling it out, it was so dirty that we wanted to puke. In general, horrible experience. The staff, including the manager, failed to understand our situation and offered no solution whatsoever.

I was told that there would be an airport shuttle, but there was no driver. I was offered a taxi service, but it was not going to be covered by the hotel. The whole reason I booked the room was because of the airport shuttle. Would not recommend this place, poor service.
