In and out overnight. Not much of a stay but it was convenient and quite comfortable. Hotel parking is $36/night. Court House parking across the street is $10.

Great hotel, gym is really bad and my room was on the king street side. I was up until 3:00am one night because of the outside noise. People screaming, dogs barking and even a car alarm going off. Had to purchase earplugs in order to sleep.

Had some noise coming from ceiling in our room, not sure what it was but it was happening all night. Otherwise the hotel is really nice and great location. Parking isn't too bad but DO NOT drive a tall vehicle in there. I think the max height is under 6 ft. The Wi-Fi wasn't free which I thought was the most annoying part.

Very good location. Check in agent was extremely nice. Warm cookies one afternoon were nice. Didn’t like the forced $25 daily fee, especially since the restaurant and bar were closed when I decided to use it. Other desk agents were not as friendly as initial agent. Parking was scary. Second floor of basement was dark, piles of construction and dirty. My room did not cool down, so the graciously moved me, but that room was hot, too. Weird smell. It didn’t seem like an Autograph hotel.

Lost power pools out of order with yellow tape around it fitness center joke everything is old not modern for $300 night it’s a rip off plus they charged $36 night to park when lots nearby charge $10 and a $25 night amenity fee that wasn’t disclosed till check in for what amenities exactly? No pool no fitness center nothing in building besides a restaurant that’s closed Monday night when there’s plenty dining all over area

The outside setting was beautiful. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, the room smelled musty, and the room air conditioning did not work well. The parking garage was very difficult to navigate around in and very little lighting and space.

Loved the area. The front desk was very nice. The neighborhood had so much to do and see. Great time. We didn't like the parking fee of $36 PER DAY. Found parking across the street for 12 a day and we went in and out for events. The beds were comfortable but bouncy. Hard to sleep when husband was moving around.

PROS…location. CONS…I went to turn in for the evening and the bedsheet had something that was either dried blood/feces/chocolate. Took that off and the thin comforter had a yellow stain. Went to call the front desk…phone didn’t work. No dial tone or anything and it was plugged in. Walked down to the desk near 10pm and the employee seemed annoyed but asked if I wanted someone to come clean it…a man came and took everything off and gave us three sheets. No blanket. Window blinds broken. Some sort of crumbs on the chair. Slow sink. Everything was just pretty bad. Rugs and tables in the lobby are dirty. Experience was not great.

Had a great time in a fun city. The hotel was clean, comfortable and upscale. The front desk attendants were very friendly and accommodating. Also they have a bar/restaurant insite which offered fine foods, seasonal drinks and top notch service.

Although first impressions of tattered entry rugs, the hotel was welcoming. The staff were friendly and accmmodating, The evening started with a complimentary drink (either sangria or an old fashioned). Being directly on King street , it allowed for easy walking to the waterfront, restaurants and pubs. The free King street trolley was an added bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable

The property is close to everything in Old Town. The rooms are generous in size. I’d skip the restaurant if I was going to stay again. And I didn’t use hotel parking because it is overpriced for the area. The hotel is well maintained and clean.

The hotel, lobby and restaurant are beautiful! The rooms are lacking. Scuff marks and holes in walls, dirty bathroom with hair in tub and on shampoo bottles. Beds are without comfy bedding, thin duvet. Area is fantastic, but wouldn’t recommend.

The room had an attic feel which wasn’t horrible, although the blinds were broken. Additionally, the walls were so thin, we could hear our neighbors returning from being out after 2am and their detailed conversation about Cinnabon. The bed had a built-in pillow topper that made sleeping uncomfortable. There was also the loud hvac system that would start and stop uncontrollably. The central location on King Street does not overlook the negatives.

We always stay here when we visit Alexandria. However, this weekend, we were given an attic room that was spacious but devoid of character (decor) and had only one tiny window with blinds that malfunctioned. It was near a loud humming noise that I eventually slept through. The blinds were only somewhat repaired after we inquired. Friday night front desk was outstanding. Wish every hotel had a super helpful and welcoming team like that. For the money, it was subpar. But, I know they have better rooms, so I will come back. I need to bring my dog. The canine guests looked pretty happy!

Nice stay at the hotel. Will visit again. Suggestion would be to have more staff working the front desk. There was only one person that we observed working to check in/out guests while we were there. Had to wait 10 minutes to get checked in. staff member was rushing to accommodate everyone. There were guests waiting behind us. Also, I tried calling the front desk from my room telephone on Sunday morning to find out what time was check out and no one answered, tried calling reservations too, no one answered.

Always have loved staying here but it’s been years since my last stay. Have always loved it. Check in young woman was excellent. Very sweet and professional. Woman at front desk at check out seemed bothered and unfriendly. Gentleman “manager” I’m assuming who was often behind the desk in the background never stops looking at his cell phone and cutting up behind the desk while people were lined up waiting. Just found it all very unprofessional for this classy place, as he should have been helping.

The property was located in a wonderful location on King St. in Old Town. There are wonderful shops and restaurants within close proximity, and the hotel is only 3 blocks from the river front. There were a few little maintenance issues, which the staff was willing to care for. The garage was very tight. The front-desk and bell staff were very friendly, helpful, and service-oriented.

Staff was incredibly kind and informative while helping us prep for our first visit (navigate parking, early check in, and even just finding a wine bottle opener on a Sunday night). Beautiful decor and style to match a gorgeous colonial area, walking distance to too many restaurants and shops to get to if you had two weeks to invest. Many thanks for a great stay.

Hotel was nice. The front desk staff let me check in early, and was accommodating. One thing that I did not like was the charge for a destination fee. Essentially, I was forced to use their restaurant twice, and that was awful. If I have to return, I will think twice about staying here because of that.

Great location for historic area of Alexandria, but hotel needs maintenance. Room had a balcony to overlook the courtyard - water damage to the ceiling at the sliding door. Furniture was broken and not enough drawer space to unpack for 2 people (3 night stay). Restaurant is closed Mondays - unexpected and odd. Wanted to have breakfast before checking out and traveling home. Friendly staff.

The price was a little more than other area hotels but so very worth it. The hotel was so much closer to the places we wanted to see. My husband is disabled so walking was less and we were able to regularly just stop back in to our hotel when needed. Staff was super nice and helpful. Loved the complimentary cocktail each evening. I would definitely stay here again.
