Even though renovated the property lacks the updated feel. The floors are ‘lumpy’ is the only way I can describe them… who ever laid the carpets definitely didn’t level the floors first!! Otherwise staff are wonderful, hot springs are lovely - including the indoor mineral pool. The standard indoor pool is FEEEZING!

The pool heater has not been functioning since December, but you are not told this when booking. The bed matresses are lumpy and uncomfotable. Noise between walls and ceilings is way too much. Worlds most expensive cocktails !!!

We have stayed here a few times, hotel is a short walk for swimming at the beach and a number of walking tracks, which is what we go there to do. We find it is probably only 20 min walk up to main part of town for a choice of eating places as well. Hotel clean tidy and comfortable with excellent staff. Parking around hotel can be tight when busy, not enough parking even with the undercover parking as you get extra people going there for the spa sessions that don’t necessarily stay there. Very good place to stay.

I always love stating at the Deep Blue so I can use the mineral pools in both the hotel and the larger outdoor complex. The staff are always friendly. I want to give a shout out to the cleaners who are always friendly and say "enjoy your day" when you are walking past. Highly recommend it.

Jodie and the girls at breakfast were amazing. Do not recommend buffet breakfast as its very basic and limited. The staff at check-in were ok. Disappointed to know that pool had heating issues thus unavailable until late Jan. No note of that at the time of booking even when we called to book the place. Overated and expensive. Old thus needs a good reno!

Very limited restaurant on the Tuesday night we stayed. 20 min walk to the centre with dining options. Hotel is lovely and we squeezed in a hot springs session the morning we checked out. Definitely recommend that. Great facilities.

The Room is dated. I paid for a Spa Suite and was put in a Room with a Bath Spa with Mould around the bath Spa and NO TOWELS at all. Extremely poor. No Digital TV just local stations dated just like the room. We were keep waiting everywhere that we went. Breakfast was over crowded with limited hot food. The Juice bar was empty and when I asked a staff member for more Juice she dismissed me and said that they were out. EXTREMELY POOR

Located right near to the beach & breakwater, so can't be faulted for location. The hotel itself (inside & out) os looking a little dated, however is very clean & well maintained. The bed was a bit lumpy & pillows not great, but overall, the room was very comfy with all amenities you could want. I was surprised there was no in-room safe & while I understand it's a safe location, I imagine international travellers & some business travellers would want to be able to lock away their passports or laptops while not in the room. The buffet breakfast was OK, but nothing special. And for the price, there are plenty of better options nearby or up in the town centre. Overall, I was happy with my stay here. It felt very safe, was comfortable & quiet and I would stay here again.

Wir hatten das Hotel viele Wochen, wenn nicht sogar Monate im Voraus gebucht. Trotzdem hatte man uns das wohl schlechteste Zimmer (103) im ganzen Hotel zugewiesen: direkt neben der schweren Eisentür, die zum angrenzenden Parkhaus führte und jedesmal mit einem lauten Knall ins Schloss fiel. Eine Zumutung für jeden Gast. Aufgrund unserer Reklamation wurde uns von einem sehr freundlichen und dem Gast sehr zugewandten Mitarbeitenden der Rezeption ein anderes, vor allem ruhigeres Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Da hatten wir Glück. Hier haben wir uns dann sehr wohlgefühlt. Es bleibt jedoch für uns unverständlich, wie Zimmer 103 überhaupt angeboten wird, zumal wir so früh gebucht hatten. Nur die Freundlichkeit des Mitarbeitenden führt nicht zur vollständigen Abwertung dieses Hauses. Auch im Übrigen lässt das Hotel sehr zu wünschen übrig: Das Restaurant schließt offenbar schon um 19:45h. An unserem Ankunftstag war es wohl abends vollständig geschlossen und es gab nur eine kleine Karte an der Bar. Unsere Pizza war sehr dünn belegt. Selbst über das Haustelefon war die Rezeption kaum erreichbar. Man wurde - wie Externe - nach einer kurzen „Überlastungsmitteilung“ aus der Leitung geworfen. Auch das geht überhaupt nicht. Letztendlich war Check-out bereits um 10:00h, so dass man noch nicht einmal in Ruhe hätte frühstücken können. Alles sehr unschön.

The view from our room, which we thought was sea view, was non existent…..we were on first floor overlooking the car park. I was very disappointed because I truly believed we had a much better view. Staff were excellent and although the room was very clean, especially the lovely bathroom, some of the furnishings were shabby.

I believe that I booked (on line) a deluxe King room with spa and ocean view. We were initially given room 101, spa room with roof view, so I returned to reception and was given room 301. I was informed that spa rooms do not have sea views so reception just moved us up two levels so we could peak at the ocean. I booked for the breakfast. My husband was extremely disappointed in the quality of the breakfast buffet. The eggs were not real eggs, poured out of a carton instead, and the yogurt was not real either. For the price, we expected to be thrilled but we left anything but.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Really comfy bed, had a view of the ocean (even though I didn't specify this in my room booking!), and the facilities were great, for example I had the entire pool to myself when I went for a nighttime swim. I would say the rooms are definitely not soundproof, with garbage trucks coming by late into the evening and one of my neighbours having a shower did wake me up. Staff were super friendly and helpful when I got slightly lost!

The location is in prime place and hotel is okay as closed with hot spring but the services and staff behavior was really bad. One staff named Alif with whom we asked about the check in details and he was rude and showed us attitude as we reached around 6:30 pm and already darken outside and it was our first time there and no idea about parking and anything when we asked about parking he said go and park on grass outside. The way he was responding was really disappointing to start the stay there but later talked with other staff she was nice though. Parking on hotel building will need to pay extra fee which was really surprised along with the attitude of staffs not coordinating with welcoming their guest for the first time in that hotel and hot spring.

Possibly the worst check in I’ve ever had. I arrived around 9pm, went to reception where it was deserted. I ended up walking through the kitchens, reception, staff room, everywhere and couldn’t find anyone.. It’s a bit out the way. Needs updating. The restaurant looked very unused. I had breakfast along the road at the Kisok. They were amazing and delicious food. I most likely wouldn’t stay there again. The only good thing was I slept on the top floor and got a great sunset and sunrise.

When we checked in, the reception staff were both really lovely and everyone at the day spa and hot springs reception were friendly and helpful. The day reception weren't friendly and we tried to book the bathe and breakfast deal but we were told to book with the restaurant in the morning but when we went they asked us to book with reception who asked us to book with the bath house when they open at 9am. In the end we didn't bother with the breakfast and only did the bath house session for an hour.

This motel was quiet, rooms spacious staff excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. The air con. stopped working in our room the night before we were to checkout. Staff went out of there way to help us move to another room.

The thing that stands out the most is the friendliness and willingness of the team working there to be helpful in whatever way possible. Nothing was too much effort for them. The rooms are lovely and clean and there’s an indoor pool to enjoy no matter what the weather is doing.

Property was clean and tidy. Staff were not at all helpful. This place apparently has a hot spring section. We were not given any information about this by the staff. Parking was very limited, especially for large vehicles. Undercover parking is an extra cost. Dining was limited. the cafe was closed at 7pm with the only nearby place to eat was at the property next door, which was more than accommodating. We were not the only ones who went there looking or food & drinks Would not stay again.

The reception staff were terrible. I found them not welcoming at all and difficult to understand. One lady with red colouring in her hair was very good but the others…forget it! I’d rather have an automated ‘robot’ check me in than either of those two guys. I don’t understand why or how they can get away with being in the ‘hospitality’ business. Otherwise, the room was okay, felt a bit crowded in the corridors but the room was well designed and had sufficient space. If you have a vehicle that is bigger than a matchbox then forget about parking in the undercover section as it is impossible to turn around and park properly. I wasn’t the only one with this issue either. I ended up parking at the Lady Bay.

Staff were very welcoming even though they were extremely busy. We ate dinner in the cafe on the 1st night annd at the restaurant the 2nd night. Meals were absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant
