Great for families with spacious, comfortable and cosy apartments. Kitchen and laundry makes it easy to travel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Position is awesome- near beachfront, rail trail and hot springs. Walking distance to town centre. A few more basics in the kitchen would have been helpful - some microwave safe containers and basic of olive oil, salt & pepper. Gym would usually be better but both treadmills recently broken by previous guests and spin bikes needing some maintenance. Would definitely stay again.

Ladybay resort is in an ideal position and where you want to be if you like the beach, walking tracks and paths. Hotel accomodation was clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent. Parking can be a bit tight as there is not a lot of room available. Happy with our stay and will stay here again

Only complaint would be the amount of cars parking on the grassed area at the rear of the apartment to go into the hot springs. The fence palings are spread out so not a lot of privacy and car headlights coming and going isn’t all that pleasant but other than that it was a comfortable stay. Clean and tidy, easy walk to local cafe on pertobe road for a morning coffee and right on the beach! Will definitely stay again.

The staff were the highlight of our visit. A large number of family were present for a funeral, and no matter the query/request, nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always so incredibly friendly. Staff on Sunday even went above and beyond for a family member in a different room with some challenges she was having with her rental car! Thank you!!! The rooms were spacious and were quite well equipped. Opportunities: To elevate, there are only two (minor) suggestions: 1) A coffee machine wouldn't go astray e.g. with pods. 2) The washing machines would benefit in having simple instructions readily available (I've used many, but this one had me stumped...twice - got there in the end, but not easy). Honestly, I would not let these two things deter anyone from staying. We would happily stay again with comfortable, clean, and spacious accommodation, and easy parking, it was everything we could have wanted for accommodation in Warrnambool. Note: if sensitive to sound, bring ear plugs for the cars. It didn't bother us too much, but the road nearby does seem popular for "lappies".

We stayed in a ground floor studio apartment which was a significant cost saving, the apartment is spacious and had a fully equipped kitchenette. Lovely location with short walk to the breakwater and local cafes. Lot of on site free parking. The standout for us was the staff, we were made to feel so welcome they were so friendly and attentive. The restaurant was outstanding, we both had the slow cooked lamb shoulder which was exquisite, portions were on the generous side. Minor issues were lack of horizontal storage in the apartment the microwave sat on the sink drain area meaning meal prep had to be done on the table, again only a minor inconvenience. Would recommend and stay again when in Warrnambool.

Property was starting to show signs of wear and tear. The couch in the lounge room had serval questionable stains. It was rather gross. Lots of cobwebs, balcony was in need of pressure wash and walls could do with a repaint. All these things are superficial and would be fine if it were not for the premium price per night of $300 mid week that we paid. We choose to eat at the on-site restaurant which was disappointing. Waiting almost an hour for our meals and then they were average. Should have gone to the pub. The location is amazing and the view is spectacular but the price doesn’t reflect the conditions of the stay. The staff were very helpful and very happy to answer any questions.

This is my second time here. We had a 3 bedroom apartment and everything was as it should be. The ONLY thing I didn’t like was the very steep stairs to get to the rooms! Oh, and I would have liked proper salt and pepper rather than 2 little packs of them. Not enough to cook pasta with! Fortunately, we had our own. All in, loved it, and hope to be back!

Reception staff were good. Our apartment was at the very end corner. Didn’t expect steep steps to climb up to the bedrooms. One bedroom had no heater. Other than that it was ok. Pricing was not competitive

there are 3 levels in the building unit. Our room has 2 levels with the second level being the living and dining level and the third level being the bedroom level. For an aged person over 70 to carry luggage to the third level is a very tough task and dangerous.

No one was available at check in so I might have given another star if we knew some of these issues. Worst was the 10a checkout which we were told at 9a when there was finally someone at the desk. Also bad was the thermostat not working. That was not an emergency so we just were cold. Heads up the HVAC is not central so even if it was working, the bedroom will not have heat or air. Last (there’s more but you get the idea), there was construction in the morning that we were not told about so there was a horrible racket and strangers looking in our window this morning. With the poor/non service do not stay here

Staff, especially Claude, were extremely helpful and kind. Room had everything I needed, including kitchenware, nice hot shower, spacious room. Had a ground flor unit which was relatively quiet. Bus route 5 at door to train station, shops and city, otherwise it is a long walk to shops etc.
