It was a great stay! They have Grown Alchemist products which is a favourite of mine, I was so pleasantly surprised! The front desk, bar and breakfast staff were very friendly and extremely helpful! The hotel is in a perfect location, many amazing restaurants within a few minutes walk. I would highly recommend for solo travellers, couples and groups!

Fantastic area, very close to all dining and shopping spots. Parking was probably the only thing that was a little bit of a walk, but the staircase is right across the street from the hotel so easy to locate. 12 euros a day to park at the parking garage. The hotel also provides valet parking for 20 euros a day for those who don't want to deal with the parking garage on their own. but there is a trolly that will take you back to the city and drop you off 10 min from the hotel. Beautiful walk though! As for customer service, it was nothing short of exceptional. Breakfast was delicious and there is always someone at the desk 24/7 to assist with anything. Area is very quiet at night and we felt safe walking around late at night. The locals in the city are very friendly and there is much to see! Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Great hotel in former palazza. Lovely staff. Recommend. One beware: if coming by train, Google maps will tell you the train is 230 m from the funicular. This is wrong. The 230 m refers to the escalator to a parking area. The hotel is 1.3 kilometres from the top of the funicular which leaves from opposite the railway station. From the funicular, walk up Cavour which is about 10-15 degrees on the left and is the main street. There is then one left turn about 150 m from the hotel. Use your phone. I believe you can also catch a mini bus or a very overpriced taxi from the station but we didn’t sight either.

The room (Suite #1) was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful, romantic, quiet. We loved everything about this hotel. Breakfast was excellent and fresh, the assistant who helped with the coffees at breakfast was so kind and efficient and smiling! Jude at the bar in the evenings was PERFECT. He really made the place a notch up. Parking was easy (we used the public car park but elevator made it super easy and fast). Just everything about this place was superior. Wish I were still there!!

Very clean and convenient, nice that it was past the main part of town opposite side of city from vernacular which made it quiet but close. ( there is a nearby shuttle, or a 15 minute walk with bags…). The hotel gives you a feel that you are staying in a room of a castle.

Un hôtel un peu vieillissant avec une chambre verte très propre mais ancienne et des couloirs avec MarchÈs peu pratiques avec les valises. Ceci étant très bien situé dans le centre historique où l’on a pu tout faire à pied et parking payant en contre bas d’où vous accéder facilement à l’hôtel par une série d’escalators.

Super staff -- very friendly and helpful. Love the location being so near to the center of town. The family suite that we were in as actually in a separate building across the street -- wish I had known that ahead of time. Also, the family suite badly needs a blind on the large street-facing window to block the street lights at night time.

The staff were excellent and welcoming, especially Chiara at the front desk who got us dinner reservations at a wonderful local restaurant. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed on the third floor and had a nice view through a small window. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel, with made-to-order cappuccino, espresso, etc. We would definitely stay again. Orvieto was one of our favorite places in Italy.

Very satisfied with this choice of hotel in Oriveto. We arrived in the evening after 9 PM. No Uber or Taxi service. we contacted the Hotel and they immediately located a driver who whisked up to this lovely property which is 5 minutes to the Square and less than 10 to the Duomo. No hesitation recommending this hotel which is just as it appears in photos and is good value.

The only thing we didn't like is having only one set of keys, which, when one of us was out, made entry/egress a nuisance. We loved all of the staff, but especially Jude, who went above and beyond in attending our every need, and Chiara, who kept our cell phone safe when one of us left it in the lobby bathroom!

What can I say. This place was great and central for access to everything walkable in Orvieto. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Everyone bent over backwards to help us with even the slightest needs. Also, they set up a fantastic breakfast every morning. We will definitely stay here if we visit the area again.

The public parking outside the hilly center is just a few escalators away, its exit is right next to the hotel, costs €12 per day . The room was a bit old fashion for a 4 star hotel, my shower drain was partially clogged. Easy 10 min walk to the Duomo, along interesting streets and shops. The evening staffs were great!

We were in Orvieto for one night but in that short time the staff was incredibly helpful, so nice and had a room ready for us even when we arrived early. It was further from the touristy area of Orvieto which made for a quiet stay. Def recommend staying here next time.
