I booked this hotel because of swimming pool among the other factors, but it was closed for several days. When I asked front desk about potential refund they said that it was out of their control. I regret that I booked 7 days and was not able to change hotel when they close the pool.

Great location with beautiful views. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful suite and very clean. The housekeeping only consists of throwing out the trash. The pool is jice but there is no sun where it's situated so the water is cold. The free breakfast was yummy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was excellent except for the breakfast options (repetitive and never changed, i.e., sausages every morning - would have been nice if they rotated some options for guests who stay a week like we did) and the jacuzzi/pool hours (they close at 8 PM, so not so fun for adults).

Very nice property and awesome views of the intracoastal waterways. The only issue is parking. Either you pay the $35 valet or park on the street with a maximum of 3 hours even when using the phone application

Comfortable bed, all the staff I encountered were great. Fast elevators. Nice little gym and pool. Sun loungers/beds are a plus. Buffet breakfast was appreciated. I would definitely stay again.

the whirlpool has a really high level chemicals it ruined our swimwear and when we asked what they had put in the whirlpool that day and showed the ruined clothes and silver the guy in the reception laughed and answered bleach I then replied yes obviously and then he changed his mind and said no I mean chlorine other than than that we had a good stay and the other clerks were very nice the rude clerk has the initials MLF

Beautiful lobby. Rooms were nice Breakfast could have been a bit better. Pool was just ok and you had to go to the front desk for towels. Housekeeping was why I gave it only 3 star. We understood it was every other day service but after the third day and they hadn’t even come in I was annoyed. Lovely view from our balcony. It was nonsmoking but we could smell strong weed smell from nearby guests. My kids didn’t need to be subjected to that. Great location walking distance to the beach and stores and restaurants.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I was disappointed only cleaned once during my stay. I found this to be unacceptable and it greatly impacted my overall experience at the hotel. When I arrived, my room seemed clean and well-maintained, but as the days went on, I noticed that the towels were not replaced, the trash was not taken out, and the beds were not made. I messaged the front desk on the third day and someone did come to clean that day, however, when they did not return again the next day, I was informed that I needed to ASK for my room to be cleaned during check-in, which was never communicated to me at check-in nor when I called before. I was told that a manager would call me but they never did. I also saw other guests receiving cleaning service during my stay, which made me feel like my room was overlooked. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel due to the lack of cleaning service. I hope that the hotel can improve its cleaning protocols to provide a better experience for its guests in the future.

Rooms are very clean. Great location and very friendly/helpful staff. Breakfast was somewhat prepackaged stuff, but it was very quiet when we were there which I imagine didn’t justify a freshly cooked breakfast.

Nice average hotel. Only stayed 2 night, didn’t receive any house keeping services after the first night. No fresh towels and bed wasn’t made which was a little disappointing but not a big deal. Takes long to catch an Uber from there in the mornings. Reception staff are lovely, overall decent place to stay

This what right on one of the waterways. Amazing views in the morning and evening. Breakfast was fantastic and eating so close to the water was great. The beds were comfy and the washer and dryer was a godsend.

The hot water was finicky so my husband and I both took cold showers several times and there were dogs in the dining room two days in a row at the breakfast buffet (one that was continuously barking). And I don’t know if it is the layout of the hotel or if we just had extremely rude neighbors but it was very loud. Doors always slamming and people congregating in the halls talking loudly. We could also hear the people in the room next to us talking loudly. There was an undesirable spot on our bedding but fortunately there was a washing machine in the room (one of the few good points) so I washed it myself. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

The hotel is great when traveling with kids. The rooms are like a mini apartment with a full kitchen and even washer and dryer. The kitchen has all the utensils. The complimentary breakfast is quite extensive with hot and cold food, yougurts, cereals, waffles, pancakes, bread, scramble and hard boiled eggs, breakfast roasted potatoes, patties and sausages, fruits, juice, milk, coffe , among other things. The location is privileged within walking distance to the beach, Walgreens, a grocery store, a gas station if you are in need of any supplies. Also very nice restaurants are a a few steps away from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating

Checking inn I was immediately told that the hotel deposit was $250 and wouldn't be returned to my card for 10 business days. Then she informed me that I had to pay $40 per night for parking or park on the street and pay the toll every 3 hours. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab and I couldn't sleep all night. I woke up with back pain and neck pain after only sleeping 3 hours. Someone tried to open the connecting door during the night and it made me not feel safe. The bathroom floor was full of pubic hair. The shower wet all the floor in the bathroom making it dangerous to walk on. On the morning there was no hot water. The breakfast was severely lacking. The eggs were cold, the sausage was overcooked and the coffee was bitter. I've had better at a hampton inn and paid less the night with parking included. I was expresamente disappointed in the service without a smile and all the extra cost and it wasn't even worth it. So better Marriott. I should get a refund.

The room next to us, decided to party until 6 am with bass pumping. I called front desk, all startled with the noise, asked the front desk to find the source of the party and said to the guy, “you know my room number” was going to tell him to check room number beside me…. Was greeted with a pleasant “you don’t Know your room number?” Smart remark to tell an annoyed guest.. then after waiting another 30mins, with the noise, called back, and was told “ I don’t hear anything” Can you believe that? Yeah, I’m making that up at 3 in the morning. Disgusting service. So I said, room next door to my bedroom. Shortly after that, they lowered it, but talked all night and had the music lower, but still on and people over till 6 am. Disappointed. This place is wonderful except for this lack of attention for my matter. Won’t stay there again.

Oscar at main front desk is extremely helpful, friendly and professional at his job. Definitely a people person. World needs more talent like him. All staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. Pub / restaurant, cleaning staff all good at their jobs. Great sleep, views from many parts of the hotel. Great location.

The staff was extremely accommodating. They really went out of their way to find us a room when we left the cuisse early in the morning and had no where else to go. My friends stayed at another hotel and had to crash on the lobby couch for 4 hours while I slept like a baby in my room (I had a sofa bed and offered to let them stay, but they insisted it would be ready shortly). Great team!

I booked this hotel because of the breakfast which I had experience with but they were renovating the restaurant so they had to relocate the breakfast to the bar area and options were very limite. Everything was in plastic wraps (premade waffles, sausage sandwich, etc) that you had to reheat in a microwave or toaster. There were bagels and bread. The breakfast was lacking a lot of basic foods like eggs, fresh sausages, bacon, etc that are essential in a hotel breakfast especially at the residence inn where it is expected. Other than that, I was quite disappointed by the service. We were not greeted at check-in, the person behind the counter didn’t even say hi, just asked for my ID and a CC. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The floors and rooms are a bit outdated especially the bathroom. The deck area on the intercostal is nice, but again quite outdated and a bit dirty.

Excellent hotel. We had a big room with the balcony and view of the canal. It was clean and quiet, friendly staff. 15 mins walk to the beach at least so if you are there for the beach choose something closer. Good location close to many restaurants.

The location of the hotel was very convenient as there are plenty of places to eat around. Having the water taxi right next to the hotel was a convenience too ($25 pp). The room was lovely, clean and with a fantastic view of the intercoastal.

We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn for five nights at the end of August and really enjoyed our time. The location is very convenient and accessible to all parts of Fort Lauderdale, with plenty of restaurants nearby for both dining in or quick takeout. The hotel offers a great breakfast with lots of choices, and the in-room laundry plus kitchenette made it especially comfortable for a family stay. Our room had a beautiful west-facing view of the Intracoastal Waterway, which was lovely both in the morning and afternoon. The atmosphere felt more like home than a busy hotel, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The only downside is valet-only parking at $40 per night, but aside from that, everything was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Fort Lauderdale!

Stayed here for almost a week in a half, overall wasn’t a bad experience. Just I expected to be closer walking distance to the beach. Which the beach is close but only access is for the resort hotels so technically no access. My room also barely got cleaned while I stayed there for a long period. One cleaning my bed was only folded but the sheets weren’t changed at all- I noticed because I sleep with socks on and they were still in the sheets. Coffee supplies were also not replaced so rushed job. Breakfast wasn’t bad but no variety - the same thing everyday. I usually always stay in hotels for work and I know it’s usually a standard breakfast but usually been in hotels that rotate options. On my last few days, there were also a couple events taking place and this caused a lot of crowds in many of the common areas , lobby , and breakfast dining area. Kids were running around and just bumping into various areas as it seems an event was for a child , while I understand the hotel is kid friendly I was traveling for work and expected more of a quiet environment. I didn’t know the hotel served as an events place as well and that it would interfere with common areas of regular guests.

The room was clean & nice with a view I can say. The night we stayed in & decided to just have dinner at the hotel restaurant was a mistake. The Food was as awful as it looked, with an extremely high price. For the cost to stay here & the accommodations, there are definitely areas needing improvement. It was an ok experience, but probably will not be returning for the price.
