I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, it is very warm in winter, the temperature in the rooms can be adjusted. I appreciate the fact that everything was clean and well maintained. The lobby and coworking area are magnificent, I have never seen such luxury in a hostel at such low prices. I will recommend this hotel to anyone, I have stayed in 3 other hostels around Budapest and this is the best in my opinion. Breakfast at a very affordable price.

My second time here and perfect stay again! Last time I stayed in a private room but this time none available so stayed in a dorm, also excellent! Spotlessly clean, good width and length of beds, linen looks brand new, comfortable, respectful room mates and lovely and quiet so easy to get good nights sleep! Great common shared spaces for socialising or working. Excellent strength wifi. I liked the area, right by the tram and metro making getting around easy. Delicious fresh and varied breakfast well worth it with cooked food (bacon, eggs, beans), pastries, fresh fruits and juice machine, the lady at breakfast Olga is very friendly and constantly ensures everything is topped up and clean and fresh. Highly recommend!

Hotel molto piacevole in centro, vicino a tutti i mezzi pubblici. Bellissimo il restauro dell'edificio originale combinato con lo stile moderno. Camera ben organizzata, ben riscaldata, letto comodo, ottima la pulizia. Zona comune molto bella. Colazione ottima sia dolce che salato: colazione sia inglese, che continentale e anche francese. Staff sempre carino. Grazie a tutti.

Probably one of the best hostels. The hostel is centrally located, easy to get from airport, near a Lidl, Jewish Quarters, train station, etc. The staff was amazing and the lobby area was beautiful. The hostel has fun activities for guest to participate while staying such as wine night, Bingo, etc. The rooms were cleaned regularly which was nice. The only downside is you may end up with the wrong hostel guest in your room. Unfortunately, our room had a person who came back late every night and got upset when others were getting ready at 7-9am.

The kitchen area was poor. 2 microwaves, 1 kettle and a air fryer. Difficult to cook yourself a meal. Would be nice if there was a quiet area to watch tv. Beds super comfortable. Large lockers. Dorm areas verybquiet. Would be nice if beds had privacy curtains. Easy check in. Located close to public transport

I enjoyed my stay here at Maverick :) I think the double private rooms lack a bit of style and are on the lower end when it comes to amenities (no telephone in the room, no dnd signs, less of the typical hotel add ons) but it's really not a big deal especially for the price. We did have a room facing a blaring light that made nighttime seem like mid-afternoon so if you can only sleep in pitch dark that might be a concern. However, other than that it was pretty pleasant. The lobby area is great. It's lively and fun. There's also a shared kitchen which is a huge plus if you want to save some extra money since eating out in the city can get a bit expensive. The area isn't my favorite part of the city so that may be something to keep in mind. Overall, I would stay here again.

Excellent value, especially as breakfast was included. Really nice room (private bathroom for us, window onto central “courtyard”, quiet [might be due to January occupancy]) and good facilities (kitchen, bar, cafe) on the ground floor. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We loved it! We stayed in a private room and private bathroom, the room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked amazingly well! Staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is right next to the M2 subway line and a 15 minute walk from the train station.

매우 깔끔하고 조용합니다. 다만 다인실의 경우 방에 따라 매우 협소해서 짐 보관이 어려울 수 있습니다. 그외에 샤워실, 화장실은 매우 깔끔해서 좋고, 로비도 넓어서 활용하기 좋았습니다. 지하철역이 바로 옆이고, lidl이 아래층에 있어서 식료품 사기에도 좋았습니다.

I ended up with a family room. Plenty of room for a family with a private bathroom. Place was clean and tidy. Right in the centre of Budapest and close to all sights. Supermarkets are close by too, would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay here at Maverick :) I think the double private rooms lack a bit of style and are on the lower end when it comes to amenities (no telephone in the room, no dnd signs, less of the typical hotel add ons) but it's really not a big deal especially for the price. My second time here and perfect stay again! Last time I stayed in a private room but this time none available so stayed in a dorm, also excellent! Spotlessly clean, good width and length of beds, linen looks brand new, comfortable, respectful room mates and lovely and quiet so easy to get good nights sleep! Great common shared spaces for socialising or working. Excellent strength wifi. I liked the area, right by the tram and metro making getting around easy. Probably one of the best hostels. The hostel is centrally located, easy to get from airport, near a Lidl, Jewish Quarters, train station, etc. The staff was amazing and the lobby area was beautiful. The hostel has fun activities for guest to participate while staying such as wine night, Bingo, etc. The rooms were cleaned regularly which was nice. The only downside is you may end up with the wrong hostel guest in your room. Unfortunately, our room had a person who came back late every night and got upset when others were getting ready at 7-9am.

This place is a perfect place if you are looking for something convenient, clean, safe, and extremely affordable. The front staff is friendly and professional. The lobby is super clean and has lots of sun from the roof window. I was here in late November, and there was no one using the bathroom/shower in the early morning. This place is located on top of a subway line; one stop from the major airport shuttle bus stop. There is a supermarket right next door. I stayed for three nights under 50 euros. You can’t find anything better than this at this price.

We loved it! We stayed in a private room and private bathroom, the room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked amazingly well! Staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is right next to the M2 subway line and a 15 minute walk from the train station.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, it is very warm in winter, the temperature in the rooms can be adjusted. I appreciate the fact that everything was clean and well maintained. The lobby and coworking area are magnificent, I have never seen such luxury in a hostel at such low prices. I will recommend this hotel to anyone, I have stayed in 3 other hostels around Budapest and this is the best in my opinion. Breakfast at a very affordable price.

This hostel was great, very clean and comfortable. The sleeping area was very dark inside the pods, almost no light got in. I would definitely stay here again. Staff were helpful. There is a bus stop directly outside of the hostel which can take you anywhere in the city. There is also a metro (M2 i think) line one block away. Breakfast looked good, there, although I didn't have time to eat it. They also have a commissary area where you can purchase drinks, snacks, and flip flops for the bath houses in the City. The immediate neighborhood area felt a little dirty/sketchy, but that is not a reflection of the hostel -- it's just a classic big city.
