Lovely hotel with gorgeous decor, bar and garden. However it’s a bit of a maze full of steep stairs and no lifts. Which makes it unsuitable for elderly or disabled guests. The breakfast is superb and the staff is very kind and attentive

Nice decor. No elevator. Ceiling fan was nice to have. The included breakfast was medium. The bathroom was very small made even smaller as the toilet was placed in a diagonal position. The hotel parking was not clear, upon check in we were not asked if we had parking to validate which resulted in us parking in the wrong lot and paying extra for it. Overall, the name speaks for itself medium but romantic.

It has been a great couple of days, Malik, the bartender has been brilliant and is the main reason for giving a satisfactory score. Rooms were neat and tidy and exceeded our expectations.

A great place to stay, charming and very well situated in the core of Sitges - so you have shops, restaurants and beaches all together in just a few minutes walk. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the staff very friendly. The only negative point is parking (no parking offered), but this is a general problem in Sitges: visitors have literally to pay for every minutes they park in the city, and this is quite expensive. Better you visit Sitges travelling by train / public transport...

A beautiful boutique hotel that is very affordable and great value. In a historic building with some lovely public areas and a gorgeous garden setting for cocktails. My rooms ended up on the the top floor and there is no elevator - so if you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, I would definitely request a lower floor. Centrally located and close to the train station if you are arriving that way. A little gem in Sitges.

Near Sitges train station. Very nice hotel, decent beds / clean room, many beatiful paintings, good breakfast til 11am and the bar made good cocktails. I got the top floor w terrace, it is quiet but without privacy. the terrace is share w the next 2 rooms and there is no panel in btw. The doors needs lubrication, the room is small, walk up to 3rd floor, no room for big luggages, no free water in the room. The staffs are wonderful. I like this hotel. Thank you ; )

A lovely unfussy characterful place to stay -- in a small room but was fine and its master card is the garden and access to it - particularly if you pay (quite a lot more) to have a balcony which made the stay a delight. Felt like an ' authentic experience' ( not too modern / not tweely oldfashioned / lots of tiles / lots of personality/ helpful smiling staff ) My ( double) room was v small even for 1 person as was the bathroom, and v simply equipped ie no fridge / kettle etc but more usefully large attractive hanging cubboards and drawers. DID seem very expensive but all Sitges was so probably very good value - yes the breakfast very good for food and people watching - and definitely 'romantic' !

Clean and comfortable with a breakfast (not included) that was tremendous! The staff are second to none. This is a historic building (residential mansion) so it has no elevator. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I really wanted to love this property. It was recommended by friends who had stayed a couple of times before. On the positive side, the location is excellent, a short walk to everything Sitges has to offer. And the staff were friendly and responded well to issues. Unfortunately the rooms left something to be desired. My first room (#27) was dark and claustrophobic and smelled moldy. Then the shower backed up and flooded the entire room. The staff temporarily moved me to another room next to the lobby for one night which was okay but noisy and not very clean. The next morning they moved me to a room on the top floor which was much brighter and cleaner but it too smelled badly. The housekeeper came and poured something down the drains and the toilet which helped reduce the smell but it came back after a few hours. Also the bathroom was tiny, you cannot close the door when inside it and using the toilet requires some acrobatic skills. If you are over 6 feet tall or over 150 lbs you will not fit in it. There is no lift, which was not a problem for me but could be for others. This is not a hotel for the faint of heart!

Veldig flott frokost, langt over forventet. Svært hyggelig personale både i resepsjonen og frokostsalen. Rommet var rent, men har en stikkende lukt som vi etterhvert fant ut måtte komme fra mugg ,sansynlig innvendig i veggene,tak eller gulv.

A labyrinth of stairs and corridors. A Grande Dame that is showing rather much wear... A/c was rather poor, rooms tight and not too clean. Nice balcony and comfortable beds. Good hotel for a one night stay, but not a longer visit.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. We found the bedroom and bathroom a bit small though. The chairs in the back yard are too low, so it’s more comfortable to have breakfast inside instead. We were accusingly warned by one staff member not to take a croissant out of the breakfast area, even though we were not intending to do so. I found this rude. Our safe also had no key, so we couldn’t use it. The cleaning staff are very nice and they do a great job.

Front desk Staff not so friendly. No complementary water. Can’t get a morning Coffee unless you purchase the breakfast buffet. Our shower was a little moldy. Best part of hotel is the location. Walking distance to train station, shops , restaurants and beach.

Great place. Breakfast is good, ambience great. Air Conditioning in our room was insufficient. I don’t know if they don’t service them enough, or if they’ve been calibrated to only yield minimum calibre as a cost saving measure, but it was definitely insufficient.

Very beautiful and unique hotel with good location near the railway station and shops, restaurants etc. Really excellent breakfast in the beautiful garden. In the morning some noise since not so good soundproofing. Toilet-bathroom very small.

We enjoyed out stay in Sitges where the hotel was central to restaurants and bars, close to the beach and handy for the train station. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast every morning was superb, couldn’t fault it. Hotel lobby and communal areas were spotlessly clean. However we were very disappointed with our room 🙁. We booked a standard double which was very small and not aesthetically pleasing- didn’t feel I could unpack and use the drawer space which was very old and shoddily painted over with some gloss paint. The extra blanket, packed in a plastic bag, for hygiene reasons, was covered in long black hairs obviously from a previous occupant. No room to store case so this was left on the floor the whole time. The bathroom floor tiles were covered in a layer of dust and the sink had very recently been sealed with grouting, not sealant, which kept chipping off every time we used it then trodden in to the bedroom. Can’t speak for other rooms but avoid room 125. Such a shame the room let our holiday down.

Old hotel with great character and excellent location. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The smallest bathroom I have ever used, including cruise ship. Excellent breakfast. One block from the train station. Totally walkable old neighborhood with bakeries, restaurants, shopping, and the Mediterranean only a few blocks away.

Cool boutique hotel, nice breakfast, and just minutes from the train station. But light on service. Being elderly, I would have appreciated help carrying heavy luggage up and down three flights of stairs to my room. no water provided, which was an issue given our stay in very high heat and humidity.

I have stayed at this property 3 years in a row, and always have a great stay! The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are comfy and air conditioned, and the property itself has loads of charm. It is very central within Sitges, about 5 mins from the beach and also the train station, as well as near loads of bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here!

What a gem in a great location. The staff was amazing from check in to dining to bar service to housekeeping to check out. Everyone was happy and helpful. If they were faking it they did a great job! Haha. We loved the decor the art and all the seating areas. Thanks to all great management!

The room was quite shabby as were alot of the other rooms from having a peek when cleaners were in - not in keeping with the very pretty downstairs area of the hotel, its long long overdue some upgrades. There was a constant low frequency humming sound in our room which made it very difficult to sleep. The younger man on reception who checked us in really needs some customer service training as he was quite rude and not welcoming at all. The breakfast however was fantastic and great value. The room was quite shabby as were alot of the other rooms from having a peek when cleaners were in - not in keeping with the very pretty downstairs area of the hotel, its long long overdue some upgrades. There was a constant low frequency humming sound in our room which made it very difficult to sleep. The younger man on reception who checked us in really needs some customer service training as he was quite rude and not welcoming at all. The breakfast however was fantastic and great value. We came to Sitges for the film festival one day early so we needed a last minute hotel. This hotel was convenient to the train station (a block and a half away!) and was very affordable, despite it being the film festival week. The front desk staff was lovely, got us checked in quickly and got us into our room early. The art in the hotel is beautiful!!! The stairwell of art was my favorite part. The rooms are comfortable, however they do require stairs, so keep that in mind if booking with large bags or any need for accommodations. We would stay here again when in Sitges.

The breakfast was excellent. Initially I was placed on the third floor, but hadn’t realized there was no lift. No one offered to carry my bags, and as I was unable to carry up three flights, I asked for another room, which I was given. The hotel is old but very comfortable and ideally located 5 minutes from the train and 10 minutes from the beach.

Just a short walk from the train station, a very comfortable place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. An older building with loads of character and several areas to relax and enjoy if you dont want to stay in your room. If you are more senior in years ask for a room on lower floors.

Small room for the price but it was OK for what I wanted as a single person. Don’t think I’d like two people in there though. No lift but not possible to have one which is understandable. They do not provide beach towels so had to borrow one from my friends who were staying at a more luxurious hotel. Drinks expensive but that’s life and they charge for bottled water in the room. Nice old building, friendly staff. Outdoor breakfast self serve buffet is excellent - vast choice of freshly cooked hot food as well as fruits, pastries etc. Very good coffee machines. Common areas in the building are very nice and atmospheric. Room a bit dated and very basic - our 3 bed family room was quite spacious but the main window looked out of the side roof over the air con units etc, however the room was cool and quiet which made up for lack of view. A little expensive for the basic room provided, but overall the hotel did exceed expectations as it was quiet, very well located within easy reach of everything, the staff were friendly and efficient and the breakfast was exceptional.

Basic but nice hotel. Original room we got was tiny, but we asked if we could move. The staff were very helpful and offered us a larger room which was much better. I really loved my stay at Hotel Medium Romantic. The property itself is so interesting… there is so much incredible art to look at on the walls you need a whole day just to treat it like a museum! I can’t imagine a better location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nothing so special but perfectly comfortable for a place this close to everything. The walls are very thin though, so ear plugs might be beneficial if needed. It’s an old building and makes up for any quirks with so much romantic charm.
