Desert Diamond Casino

The door to the pool was broken and difficult to manage. Also there were kids jumping off the waterfall which was dangerous. We did not see any security and we spent many hours at the pool.

Great rooms, offers shuttle to the airport!

They're hot tub wasn't working it hasn't been working for quite some time I mean come on that should be an easy fix when these guys are making millions of dollars a day in their Casino. Everything else was great!

It was a beautiful stay , we went night swimming and used the jacuzzi during a chilli night and the pool was heated and jacuzzi nice and hot !

The hotel is wonderful.We had several meals at different restaurants and the food was good and very reasonable.The only negative was no designated parking so you could check in. You had to park and come to check in and then go back for your luggage.Not very good planning as the parking lot was quite a distance away.

The pool was absolutely ridiculous. There were people literally having a party taking up the whole pool area. There were coolers full of booze and plenty of glass. And half of the people there were not even registered guests, I know this because I overheard them talking. The staff needs to check in and monitor the pool area better. My kids couldn't even swim because there were unmonitored kids diving jumping and being just plain out ridiculous. As far as the room s go everything was nice and clean. The beds were a little hard, but nothing too bad. There was supposed to be a sitting chair and a table in both of my rooms but there wasn't. The staff at check-in was great as well.

Really nice casino with upgraded amenities. Great staff. Love that it is non smoking. Great fitness center. Great value

Stay was great - only negative point was that it was very inconvenient while in the pool the Bar close to pool was closed we had to walk all the way to casino for cocktail - same issue with another couple But other than that Great stay !

Everything was great - service, the room, the airport shuttle. Wish we stayed longer.

Everything was wonderful here! The room was huge, quiet, comfy bed/pillows, and clean. The staff at the registration desk, the casino club desk and the diamond grill were top notch. The food and craft cocktails were so good! The casino wasn’t smoky and they had tvs everywhere to watch the football game. The grounds were beautiful. Didn’t use the outdoor pool/hottub but they looked inviting. Would definitely stay here again without a doubt!!

Not so good, room smelled bad mold humid seemed not well cleaned, ac kept turning off didnt cool as expected, the room is next to a dangerous signed room which is very noisy annoying

I never received any house keeping services. The tub backed up twice. There was an additional water leak all over the floor. No microwave or complimentary bottled water. I won’t be going back.

Room and hotel were clean, beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Enjoyed my stay... wish I had more than 1 night.

The place was not super clean and after we returned from first day outing, we came to dirty room and no new towels. Went to front desk and asked what was going on, they stated that the only clean rooms every other day since we were only staying 2 days they would not be cleaning room. Thought maybe they should mention this at check-in. any way food at restaurant pretty sub standard. Will never go back.

Clean and smells good whenver you come out to the elevator in the lobby. And also i notice they put smart hand sanitizer everywhere .its my 3rd time coming to this hotel . Whenever i plan to go to tuscon I’ll always choose this place.

Smelled horrible throughout hotel.

We purchased 2 rooms. In 1 we found a few long black hairs in the bed. Pillows were very fluffy & I was worried about getting a stiff neck So I slept very uncomfortable. coffee shop wasnt opened till 7 and i was up since 1am. Did i mention our shower was moldy. No air vent/ fans in the restrooms. Outside environment looked ghetto. 1st & last time here.

I love the design and cleanliness of rooms and hotel. I stay once or twice a year while visiting Tucson.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Our balcony door wouldn't open after about 1 hour a maintenance person came to the room and confirmed the door was broken. Missed the sun set😫 had to go back to lobby to get new keys to a room with a balcony .

Cynthia at the front desk was phenomenal; she was professional, efficient, and kind. We liked: meal prices and lots of venues, large room accommodations, SmartTV, hotel was separate from casino (no noise), friendly and helpful staff. Liked not-so-much: spotty internet, long walk from reservations desk to casino/food options, and long walk from parking area to front desk.

Walkable to casino from parking and room the adjoining rooms are usually noisy and so are the ones by the elevators you can here people talking and the ding of elevator

Everything was outstanding from service to amenities. Bed was very uncomfortable would be our only complaint.

I was really surprised about the size of the room. Very large and clean, comfortable and decore was current and calming. Shower and toilet room was really nice. Would recommend this hotel casino to anyone visiting the area.

The sound of the air conditioner gave me a headache all night

Mornings, commercial air craft taking off, loud. Freight train 4am blowing horn 4-5 times. Overall nice room, nice location, reasonable mid price with large comfy bed. Very clean everything. Huge TV all digital.

Bed hard

It was a nice stay. Room was clean but the elevator was just outside our doorway. OMG it dinged alllllllll night long. Other than that it was nice but next time I’d like a room a bit of a way further from the elevator!

This property had the worst staff, never met a more unfriendly, unwelcoming staff in my life, from the front desk, to service in dining, to housekeeping, it completely ruined our experience staying here

**Terrible First-Time Experience** I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Desert Diamond Casino. The staff were disrespectful and unaccommodating, which set a negative tone for my entire visit. To make matters worse, there's no shuttle service to the airport, which was a major inconvenience. The rooms were unclean, which is simply unacceptable. After a three-day stay, I was told to request a late check-out with the morning housekeeping staff, which made no sense at all. For a first-time visitor, I expected a higher level of accommodation and service. This place is definitely not deserving of a three or four-star rating. I would not recommend it to anyone. ---

Check-in was quick and easy. Jim was very professional and personable. This stay was for my wife's birthday, and it turned out great. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back

Beds were terrible Never received “breakfast vouchers” Never received our extra towels/toilet paper and had to reuse items and finally called back 8 hours later when arriving back to the room to call again for said items.

Stayed here over a week for business, spent thousands, and thousands of dollars here. I have stayed 100+ nights over the years—but after this visit, I won’t be back. The job ran long, so I had to extend a few times. On my last day, I called at 11:45 AM asking for a late checkout—was told “no worries,” they had my card and I was good for it. At 1 PM, I called again from the bank to say I was 25 minutes out and planned to extend—again, “no problem.” I arrive to find one of my employees downstairs, visibly shaken. Staff had banged on the door and threatened to call the police unless he left in 15 minutes. I walk in apologizing, thinking it’s just a misunderstanding—only to be met with more cold indifference. Then the kicker: the next morning, after working in the sun since 5 AM and needing to drive to Phoenix for an 8-hour flight, I politely ask for a late checkout—and they flatly say no. On a Thursday. With an empty parking lot. You’d think loyalty, money spent, and basic human decency would count for something. Apparently not at Desert Diamond.

The staff not only met our requests, but exceeded them. Our included special needs & they went out of their way to accommodate us.

Our stay was somewhat pleasant. After speaking to the front lobby we were given permissions to stay in the pool an hour after they closed. We had one security guard come and tell us the pool closed at 10. After telling him that we were given permission by a supervisor to stay until 11, he went and verified. We had a second security come to us hot headed demanding we get out. We tried multiple times to explain the situation but he kept saying "I don't care, I don't care, get out of here. Pool is closed." Super disrespectful. Supervisor came out and confirmed we were given permission by her to stay out later than the original time. Once he was given this information, tucked his tail and rode away on his bicycle. Didn't acknowledge us. The hotel room was clean and tidy, service to the TV was poor and it kept losing connection so we couldn't enjoy a movie we were trying to watch. When I showered, used the bathroom or used the sink, the water kept backing up and bubbling from other drains, signifying a clog. When I showered, the water filled the bathtub up about 3" with an open drain and took forever to drain. Casino was not as nice as the Casino Del Sol. You are required to pay a $100 deposit on top of the cost of the room. You do get that back but unless I missed that information beforehand it was a surprise to me. Breakfast was not included and you have to go across the property to get the food spot. Overall, I would not come back here. Very unpleasant. 3/10.

Being attached to a casino in an suspect part of town, didn’t feel safe to leave my vehicle in the parking lot due to unsavory characters roaming the parking lot at night checking out cars, asking for money. Entire property smelled like smoke. After my business dealings in Tucson I felt unsafe leaving my vehicle so made the 5 hour drive home instead of staying. Not good.

Thought I would be closer to downtown. Not much to do where the Casino is located. Only Valet at Casino, not hotel. Handicap parking was too far from the entrance.

Food options were mediocre at best. Food court was a pizza place and hamburger grill. Buffet was like a junior high school cafeteria lunch line. Hotel had a bar. Open Saturday and Sunday 4 to 8. Only breakfast option on Friday morning was the hamburger grill, eggs with frozen hash browns or a breakfast burrito.

Dining options close too early. One shop is not enough and closed too early. For nongambler, not much option to do anything.

Great staff and the casino food was extremely affordable and good.

First time visit to hotel and casino. Very happy with the large single King bed room and large bathroom. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and had good pressure. We ate at the grill for dinner and breakfast - good and affordable meals. Only stayed one night and we plan to come back again!

Main dining area closed for repairs. No other venue took up the slack; i.e., Extension of hours, etc

Do not use the buffet, not very good and staff care for customers was poor

This property and room was pretty run down. Restaurant was closed so was stuck with the snack bar for dinner.

Nicer dining area was closed on Wednesday night. We had to go to the buffet and it was sub standard.
