This is an historic building on a site that stretches back to the Battle of Culloden, and was once host to Bonnie Prince Charlie himself. Beautiful walled garden amazingly tended by only one gardner! The staff is especially helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful manor house surrounded by acres of land and rich history. The service was amazing from check-in to checkout. Our room was beautifully appointed and decorated. Dinner was delicious at the hotel’s restaurant. My favorite part though were the Highland cows in a field behind the house. An absolute must stay!

This was an unexpected gem. If you are looking for a unique and memorable place to stay, this is it. As a guest, you have access to the walled garden from the 1783s. The house is historic with rooms that take you back to another time in history but updated for modern convenience. The staff was very attentive and made us feel special. We would highly recommend.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable except it was so hot in the rooms and hallways. We opened out windows and turned off the furnace but it never cooled down. At checkin the lady seemed a little bothered to have to deal with us. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff all morning was great.

Culloden House is an outstanding hotel. The period Georgian manor is breathtaking with an impressive great lawn. The inside of the hotel is what you expect of traditional, historic charm and beauty. It is also clean and immaculate. We were served a wonderful breakfast and enjoyed fine dining in the evenings. The staff is outstanding which very much enhanced our stay. We didn’t want to leave. Special shout out to George for his professionalism and friendly demeanor. We would return to Culloden House in a heartbeat.

Absolutely outstanding hotel and service. Unfortunately I didn’t arrive in time for dinner, but I was offered a sandwich when I checked in and was made aware of the room service menu. Room was fabulous and very well appointed. Breakfast was totally top notch. Staff were brilliant, couldn’t have been more helpful. I can’t wait to return on pleasure rather than business!

It was a very hot week, the room did not have AC and the windows would not open all the way, would not stay open, there were no window screens. there was a very small portable fan to help at night. I had a short but great stay at the Culloden. The staff were very good, friendly, helpful and professional. My room was comfortable and the en-suite was sparkling. I watched with interest how the staff dealt with some demanding and challenging guests and was impressed with their patience, understanding and once again professionalism. I was on business but will return without doubt for a more indulgent experience.

We enjoyed the most amazing time at Culloden House Hotel. The staff were the best, Kyle entertained us and kept us laughing every time we saw him. What a gem to have a staff member like him! The rest of the staff were equally friendly, helpful and excellent at all they did. We'd book here again for sure!

This stay was the highlight of our Scotland visit! Not only was the property incredible, but the entire staff truly made our visit amazing. Gorge was particularly great and went above and beyond with my Mom, who fell ill with a cold during our visit.

Staff was amazing - friendly and knowledgeable. They couldn’t be more helpful. We learned more about Scottish whiskey from George than we could have in any number of distillery tours. I had a short but great stay at the Culloden. The staff were very good, friendly, helpful and professional. My room was comfortable and the en-suite was sparkling. I watched with interest how the staff dealt with some demanding and challenging guests and was impressed with their patience, understanding and once again professionalism. I was on business but will return without doubt for a more indulgent experience.

The hotel is delightful. The welcome glass of champagne set the tone for a wonderful stay in a beautiful historic hotel. It is perfectly located on the outskirts of Inverness and close to many points of interest. I cannot commend the staff more nor recommend more highly.

This was an unexpected gem. If you are looking for a unique and memorable place to stay, this is it. As a guest, you have access to the walled garden from the 1783s. The house is historic with rooms that take you back to another time in history but updated for modern convenience. The staff was very attentive and made us feel special. We would highly recommend.

Culloden House is an outstanding hotel. The period Georgian manor is breathtaking with an impressive great lawn. The inside of the hotel is what you expect of traditional, historic charm and beauty. It is also clean and immaculate. We were served a wonderful breakfast and enjoyed fine dining in the evenings. The staff is outstanding which very much enhanced our stay. We didn’t want to leave. Special shout out to George for his professionalism and friendly demeanor. We would return to Culloden House in a heartbeat.

Absolutely outstanding hotel and service. Unfortunately I didn’t arrive in time for dinner, but I was offered a sandwich when I checked in and was made aware of the room service menu. Room was fabulous and very well appointed. Breakfast was totally top notch. Staff were brilliant, couldn’t have been more helpful. I can’t wait to return on pleasure rather than business!

The property, rooms, dining, staff were all very nice. The only derogatory observation was the condition of some items. It was a very hot week, the room did not have AC and the windows would not open all the way, would not stay open, there were no window screens. there was a very small portable fan to help at night. Because it's seldom hot in Scotland we would stay here again.

The most amazing staff!! Truly. They made us feel so welcome and at home. The nicest, friendliest people ever! The location was great for access to the Culloden Battlefield and other historic sights as well as Inverness. I only wished I had planned to stay longer.
