Very upset!! Was told to just call for our shuttle pick up from airport. Called for over an hour and had to spend additional $30 on Uber.when arrived back at desk nobody to be found even has people waiting to check in. Want a refund!!

Waited at airport for 30 minutes for pick up be Microtel van. Enroute, lost pressure in right, rear tire. Airport policeman directed the van to a safer location, and grateful to the policeman, as he dropped me at the Microtel for my 11:00P check-on from my 9:15P flight arrival!

Landed at 1:15 am. Called for shuttle no answer. Call front desk no answer. Called property 800 number 45 mins later no help called expedia and got hing up on after giving my phone number and no call back had to call got a new person explained everything. On hold now. Told its a third party that booked it by expedia ..i thought i booked with you. Now ive waited at an empty airport at 2:46 AM.

There was a missing light that burned out. The toilet did not work and had to be repaired The ice machine did not work. The waffle maker was broke. This facility should be renovated before if is used again. It sorely in need of repair and upgrade. Is a disservice to other facilities owned and operated by Microtel

A little rundown with some of the room options. There wasn't a chair in the room and the shower curtain rod was coming off of the wall. The price was great but small things like that were noticeable. Airport shuttle was great!

The initial odor when first walking into the hotel was bad. Check in was fine. Elevator was dirty/odor. Odor continued through hallway. Carpet in room was gross. Looked like it had not been vacuumed and/or shampooed. Bugs on counter in room and in bathroom. There was writing on the bathroom wall that said '"don't flush toilet" After reading positive reviews when booking, I was definitively surprised.

Room was filthy upon arrival! Mold in the windows and bathroom; exhaust fan does not work; floor was disgusting and ripped up in many areas! Walls had stains on them to the point I didn't even want to touch them! When we turned on the TV, the first thing we saw was PORN from the last person who stayed in the room!!! The rooms are supposed to be non-smoking yet the entire place has a foul stench of 30 year old Marlboro cigarettes giving my children and I a hard time breathing every time we left the room! The tub creaked like it was rotted and about to fall down (we were on the 3rd floor) at any moment. Every night, I kept getting up every 3 hours to do a roach sweep and killed at minimum 7 roaches during our stay!!! The price was the only good thing but I will be requesting a refund since we were not able to enjoy our stay at all!!!

Due to the condition of the overall motel, I would not recommend anyone to stay there. It was truly filithy dirty. Smoke smell was very heavy, the lobby floors looked liked they not seen a mop in years, roaches crawling on the dirty carpet.

Room was disgusting. Floors, walls and tv covered in stains with bugs in the bathroom sink and tub. Terrible smell and loud screaming. Signs of drug users in hallways. Booked for 2 nights but could only stay 1 due to conditions. Should not have stayed the 1 night as it was. Threw away clothes after staying there.

Convenient to airport, reasonable price, and comfortable bed. Very impressed with the shuttle driver and the breakfast attendant. Very disappointed that there was no cable tv or internet. I had returned from a 10-day trip and was planning to catch up on some work and there was no internet!! Staff expressed their frustration in getting it fixed!!! Also, the hot water was lukewarm.

Very inexpensive but you get what you pay for. 1st room we were in, someone had used wet paper towels to block the smoke detectors. It was the 1st thing we saw when we walked into the room. Went to front desk and the moved us to an upgrade room. It was nicer but still a bit sketchy. TV cut out every 30 seconds or so for 4-5 seconds making it almost impossible to watch anything. Security is much to be desired at the facility as a side door was propped open with a garden hose all night. I got what I paid for, thought I was getting a deal but left feeling shortchanged. Oh… and the ice machine didn’t work and the only soda machine on the property only had cans of Diet Mt Dew to drink.

Used to be a smoking hotel so it wreaks of smoke. Friendly staff, a bit run down, planes land at the airport that is nearby and fly directly overhead every 5-10 minutes all night (apparently it's a hub for DHL courier flights) which is neat to watch, but bring earplugs if you want a good sleep.

Positives: The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. Easy parking. Close to CVG. Everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and the room had a microwave and refrigerator. Negatives: The room needed a deep cleaning (walls, etc.) and things (desk chair, curtains, TV remote, etc.) definitely weren’t in the best repair. TV channels limited. Breakfast late one day and very limited/low quality the next. Most significant, the non-smoking room had definitely been smoked in often and for a long time. I’m not sensitive to smoke but even I had sore eyes and throat. Still, it’s what I’d expected for the very low price. It’s a place to lay one’s head.

The standards at this place are low: worn and tired carpets and, wallpaper, decor. As I walked down the hallway to my room at 1:00 am (late flight), I could hear people partying loudly, children crying, doors opening and shutting. I felt unsafe. And the deadlock on my door didn't work. There was no remote in my room, and the WiFi didn't work.

Good for a very short stay but wouldn’t want to stay longer than a night or two. The was holes in the walls, the mattress was filthy. The bathroom shower got stuck on and had to call maintenance. Floor was stained and dirty needs a deep cleaning. Smelled very heavily of weed and cigarette smoke.

Ice machine was broken asked front desk and they got an attitude about it. Had to wait an hr to check in room wasn't ready. Once again staff was hateful about it. While waiting on room went to use the restroom employee was in the bathroom coloring their hair, but they didn't have time to clean rooms. Staff was very unprofessional in my opinion.

We booked and paid for a room 5 days before arriving, called at 5pm to confirm reservation and to let them know our flight from ga would get it at 115am and that told us we were good since the room was paid for then we land call them for shuttle they send the shuttle driver to tell us that they gave our room away. Then told us we had to find our own room at another hotel which the 10 hotels we called were all booked. Then Don the shuttle driver found us a room (that was $200 more than the one we paidfor at Microtel) after an hour of looking at 2am. This is the worst place ever then they told us that they had another lady they had done the same way who was sleeping in the lobby after they gave her room away and couldnt find a room as well. They are trash. Except Don the shuttle driver.

Microtel Inn is great. Nikki (employee), is always extremely polite, courteous, and prepared when I arrive for my stays here at the Microtel Inn. I'm always treated as their priority and making sure myself and my family have any and everything we need. If there is ever a request, no matter how large or small, I know that the staff here are going to do everything in their power to grant our requests. I recommend this hotel for any short or extended stay that you may need.

There was an option to check in early that we chose to pay for. The clerk seemed aggravated when we called to check on it and told us she hadn’t approved an early check in. Upon arrival, we were checked into a room that had not been cleaned from previous tenants. When we returned to the desk, the clerk ignored us until we replied to an automated text message on our phones about needing additional assistance. Again, she seemed aggravated. No apologies rendered. Just sent us to a room across the hall. The bathroom had hair all over it and several of the tiles in the floor weren’t even grouted to the floor. Stains on the ceilings and floors. The light sconces beside the beds were all broken. There was no hair dryer mounted and had to request one. The main guest bathroom near the breakfast area downstairs wasn’t cleaned any better. The sink had “gunk” all in it. Hotels that need some updating is one thing. Ones that simply aren’t properly cleaned are another.

Noticed some construction behind front desk.Room Dusty. Woke up coughing. Had to sleep with an N95 mask. Next day, noticed something move on the wall. 2 roaches. Shower and bathroom looked and smelled unclean. Fruit at breakfast was old. "Cleaning" the elevator at checkout. Had it stopped.

Liked it's closer to the places we went. First day, our room and the hallway smelled. The air conditioner cannot be adjusted, it had a foul smell coming out of it. The carpet was torn, some outlers didn't work, the room was dim, hard to see anything. Second day, moved to another room, much better, but no comparison to other hotels we've been to. Breakfast need to upgrade to more choices, like fruits, more protein, like bacon, sausages & more eggs. The staff, except for one or two, appeared not happy, they barely say hello or good afternoon, it seems they were unhappy about their jobs. No one greeted us when we came in, didn't make you feel you're welcome. Staff need to be dressed properly, and they have no name badges to identify them. The location of this hotel was good, but the building, food and staff need a lot of improvement. I've traveled a lot, this place ranked the lowest in my encounters with the staff, food and the building. I hope this survey will help improve in these areas. Thank you. Dennis Bartolome

The room had mold in the corners of the main room, the shower curtain fell off from the wall while I was in the shower. It was supposed to be a now smoking room, yet I could smell cigarettes in the bathroom. The breakfast was so awful, we left and went someplace else. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. My throught was scrathy and we coughed for an hour after we left the place.

i stayed here for a concert in cincinatti and while everything turned out to be fine, the room was gross. it had a super weird smell to it that was overwhelming the second you opened the door and i saw multiple bugs throughout my two nights here. it was located in a seemingly sketchy area too or at least sketchy people like to hang around this hotel. i got hit on by multiple men just walking to and from my room and didn't even feel safe going to check out the free breakfast or walking to my car at night. also there is SOOOO much traffic trying to get to and from the city. totally not the hotels fault but after my experience here as a solo female traveler just wanting a place to feel safe plus all the traffic i definitely learned my lesson and will be booking a hotel in actual cincinatti if i ever go back

this is not a motel. It is a crack house. Dirty and creepy. The light in the room didn't work, the TV had no signal, the pillows were disgusting, and there were planes flying directly over the motel on average every 3 minutes. My son was scared and crying .

Please stop advertising the breakfast. Coffee in the morning is not breakfast. The carpets were very dirty. Your experience here will totally depend on room you are allotted. I had once received a very clean room but this time I found roaches and could smell cigarette smoke.

Upon arrival, they did not have the room I reserved & paid for so gave me a cheaper room. Then they tried to give me the room I reserved less than 24hrs before check out time. Tub did not drain, bathroom floor dirty, boogers on bathroom wall, overall dirty in public spaces. Housekeeping didn’t even know I was in the room when asked for any soap. Second night there, no housekeeping showed once again so went to front desk to ask for towels, they didn’t have any clean towels & said it would take too long to clean any. More than 1 person was complaining of no hot water & they were told nothing was able to be done. Morning of leaving, “breakfast” had rotten food put out for guests. Due to how unsanitary, Department of health will be notified.

Breakfast attendant was very rude each day. I was feeding my baby cereal very quietly while watching the news. She walks up and turns it off! I said I’m sorry you didn’t see me staring directly at the tv. She said well I’m closing and walked off. She was rude like that the previous morning when I simply asked why there wasn’t sausage and gravy like yesterday. She rudely replied because I don’t have to do that every day. All I have to provide is waffles and bread. Just unnecessarily rude at all times. Told the manager she asked for my room number like she was compensating somehow or coming to speak to me further but nothing and I stayed 4 days. Room also had a brush, chapstick, and a basketball left from previous guest. The room clearly wasn’t cleaned well.

The lady that served breakfast was rude! A young lady that appeared to be living at the hotel took her breakfast back to the room but i was not allowed. Our trip was to take our son to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital, i was trying to keep him calm until we saw the orthopedist, how can you allow others to take food to the room but not everyone. It was a piece of toast and a plain bagel. I threw the food away. The hotel was under construction, maid service seemed to not care if rooms were up to standard or not.

The room showed wear and tear. Our toilet ran after flushing. The carpet was stained. There was a stain on the comforter. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The woman who was supposed to take care of the breakfast area just sat in a corner with her phone and ear buds. Acted very put out when I asked for help…. The lobby bathroom was filthy.

Our bed was comfy but our bathroom had a broken, cracked and poorly repaired sink. Coffee maker was missing basket, so no coffee in room. Went down for breakfast when it opened and there was almost nothing? Some bread and doughnuts, pancake mix and almost no cereal. No juice or any kind of fruit and the coffee was so weak it was almost clear. Couldn’t find any staff around. It was horrible, would not stay again.
