Great hotel with lots of charm. We had a late flight and didn’t get to the hotel until Midnight. Likes that they had 24 hour front desk service. Check in was quick and painless. Room was clean. Basic room but we knew that at time of booking. Breakfast was provided and was quite good. Coffee was delicious. Front desk called us a cab after our very quick and efficient check out. Very close to airport which we needed as we were going back next morning for car rental pick up. Would definitely sta Again. Great price.

The staff is so kind and attentive The breakfast was great The room was really clean but wish there were more rugs, water was everywhere when we showered The balcony was a good addition to our stay, not the best view but we enjoyed the access. Parking was terrible in the area though, we had to drive almost an hour to look for a spot.

We arrived at the Hotel around 2 am by bus directly from the airport (£5 pp) and we were welcomed by Sidney who did the check-in, we had to pay a tourism tax(I think it was £5), our room was in the 2nd floor, a huge room and clean. Comfy bed and amazing shower. The breakfast was included and was an amazing Mediterranean style. I regret not staying more. The only problem is not parking available and to find a place to park is almost impossible close to the hotel, be aware, but if you don't have a car it will not be a problem.

I've stayed 2 days at Hotel Balear and I've enjoyed my stay. Before my arrival I've contacted the hotel and reply was immediately. You can see that the Hotel has been running for a long time but it still has its charm. Staff is very polite and welcoming. The hotel is also very well located. There is a supermarket nearby and the beach is just a quick walk down the street. There is also parking facilities inside the Hotel for bicycles, which was a plus for me. Look forward to return.

The staff at the reception desk and at the breakfast restaurant were friendly and the beds and bathrooms were comfortable and nice, but there seemed to be fleas or bedbugs in the room at the Room 108. I got bitten all over my arms. It was still red and itchy. If they checked the cleaning status and completely eliminated the fleas and bedbugs, it would be a better hotel.

***WARNING*** property is not what it looks like in the photos. Very dirty / unsanitary / unsafe for families. Although the staff is friendly the room was disgusting. Hairs (as in many) all over our sheets along with unknown residue. Mold in the bathrooms and on different parts of the rooms. Electrical problems, previous burn marks on fridge, when you shower dirty water starts filling the tub and comes out of the sink & bidet. It does not drain properly. The lights in the bathroom flickr because of exposed terminals. Our flight arrived late in the night which is why we booked this hotel, because of its proximity to the airport. We got the kids ready for bed and the more we looked the worst it got. The staff was willing to switch us rooms at 1:30am but the other room was not much better. This is years of neglect not a random fluke. I wish I would have looked more closely, I highly suggest anyone booking here go somewhere else for your safety and your money. Worst hotel my family and I have stayed at in.

1ère nuit impossible de dormir, la chambre à côté faisait tellement de bruit. Aucune insonorisation. L'odeur des remontées des égouts dans la salle de bain 😫.J'ai demandé à changer de chambre, comme par hasard tout est complet. Le nettoyage horrible. Le personnel de nettoyage ne connait pas les coins des murs 🙁. Les points positifs, l'accueil était correct. Le petit déjeuner, très bien.

Vi sjekket inn på Hotell Balear da vi mistet et fly og måtte bo to dager i Palma. Hotellet var utdatert og trenger definitivt oppussing. Jeg orket ikke bruke dusjen, for sluket var nok ikke tatt på en stund. Kom boblelyder når jeg brukte vasken. Heldigvis var bader utstyrt med bidet, så fikk vasket det nødvendigste. Rommet var ikke spesielt pent, men miljøet rundt var greit. Gammelt. Ok frokost.

Nice big room. Very clean. Nice personnel. The only negative thing is that you can hear People talk from the other room. And also some street noise and you can hear the airplanes. But with good earplugs is the problem solved.10 min bus to airport at 5 min walk. 5 min walking to the beach. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby

Sehr gutes Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis, von einem älteren 3-Sterne-Haus wie diesem sehr positiv überrascht, von besonders freundlich-kompetenter Rezeption bis zu tadelloser Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen und gutem Frühstück. Zimmer und Bad mit angenehmer Größe und Komfort, normale Fenster die sich komplett öffnen lassen und internationale TV-Sender. Ruhig, sauber und auch die öffentlichen Bereiche komfortabel, viele Sitzgelegenheiten und tolle Lage. Komme gerne wieder, sehr empfehlenswert zu diesem Preis.

The hotel is so quaint it is like a french hotel with lovely furniture. the bedrooms are huge and have air con and also a fridge . breakfast is served downstairs and it is excellent every day it has something different so fresh and staff are so friendly and helpful have to say from start to finnish all of the staff are very friendly

Poor check in experience. We arrived late and the receptionist didn’t even acknowledge us when we arrived, we had to stand there and wait for a few minutes while he voice messaged a text message on his personal cell phone. Once he finally acknowledged our presence he did not engage and was dismissive of us. The room was very basic albeit clean enough, bathroom very small with no soap for hands or body. Breakfast in the morning was nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Balear and would stay again. ▪︎Location: close to the airport, beach , shopping, and restaurants. Easy to reach with public transport. ▪︎Breakfast was very good with a varied choice of food. ▪︎The staff were always pleasant and ready to help out. ▪︎ Slightly vintage decor which we found cozy. ▪︎Nice living room for guests to use. ▪︎Large balcony. -The bathroom was small and needed a walk-in shower instead of tub.

Just stayed for one night as we arrived very late at Palma. Arrived at 1am and there was one family checking in before us. It took ages for them to check in as it did for us, as we had to type in all info (zip code, country, state, address, email, phone number etc) for each member on the family on some kind of ipad. Family room was of a good size, with separate room for the kids. Beds were very hard and felt sandy like they were not clean, so didn't sleep well. Very poorly soundproofed so when the party people got home in the middle of the night it was very noisy. Breakfast was so-so, decent selection of both hot and cold, fresh bread and the kids loved the huge Nutella pump, but the bacon was not good at all, neither was the scrambled eggs nor the cooked broccoli. The cold ham did not look appealing so didn't try.
