VIP-hotell, men blev ej erbjuden uppgradering, tidig incheckning, sen utcheckning och flaskan med det mousserande vinet som ingick fick jag påminna om. SPA/gym var stängt för renovering den aktuella veckan. Blev inte mycket till VIP… I övrigt ett bra hotell närma Palma centrum. Saknar tyvärr den sista touchen för att få toppbetyg (skick, renlighet, hållbarhet m.m.).

All personal trevlig och hjälpsam, om än varierande nivå av kunskaper i engelska (framför allt vid frukosten), men det funkade bra ändå, och inget som drog ned intrycket för oss. Fantastisk frukost! Stort och varierat utbud utan att bli överdådigt och kännas slösaktigt. Provade ej spa:et denna gång, men gymmet var ovanligt stort och välutrustat för att vara ett hotellgym - en positiv överraskning! Sedan är poolområdet underbart: stort, byggt i etager, med vacker grön inramning och de här tiden på året lyxigt luftigt! Nära till köpcentret Porto Pi där det finns en del affärer och matställen men lite längre från centrum, katedralen och Gamla stan. Enda nedsidan med boendet, men vill man ha tillgång till ett stort och fint sol- och badområde så går det nog inte att hitta bättre i Palma!

The pool area and views of this hotel are great. The breakfast is also good. But the greatness stops there. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation and the rooms and lobby appear rundown and over the hill. I’m sure it was great and maybe even 5 stars at some point. The pool area has dirty sunbeds and the food in the hotel restaurant was absolutely awful. The service was non-existent as well. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant twice and both time had to go inside to try and find a waiter after sitting outside for 20 min. When the food arrived, it was undercooked and tasted of old cooking oil. Stay clear of the restaurant and buy lunch in town, should you choose this hotel.

Pent og hyggelig hotell med storartet uteareal. To store basseng hvorav et var saltvann. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Ligger utenfor sentrum, men kollektivt transport stoppet rett utenfor. Har bott här 5 gånger tidigare och nu var det sämsta servicen av dessa gånger. Det gäller allt från receptionen som inte hälsade och hade en tråkig attityd , poolområdet som var dåligt städat och en ofta frånvarande badvakt till den nya medelhavsmenyn i restaurangen, där ett traditionellt och bra utbud helt utan bra alternativ. Osannolikt att vi återkommer en 7:e gång utan väljer annat hotell framöver.

We have just returned from a fabulous 11 night stay at The Valpraiso Hotel & Spa Our room ( with fabulous views over Palma bay) was well decorated and very clean & all the staff so helpful, polite & friendly .. the large hotel reception was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We really enjoyed breakfast each morning with a fantastic display and choice for every taste .. with hot options cooked to order with smiling welcoming staff each morning The Bistro has an extensive menu choice and we really enjoyed everything we ordered.. ( delicious !!) The only down side was a slight occasional drain smell in the bathroom and some area's in the pool area would benifit from some maintenance.

Schade…. Wir waren das letzte mal vor 6 Jahren im Valparaiso und davor auch schon einige male, es war immer etwas besonderes ! Aber jetzt, ist leider der Lack ab! Das Personal sehr freundlich! Unser Zimmer war schon etwas abgewohnt , das Bad in Ordnung! Der Minibarschrank defekt, die Tür kaputt! Die Klimaanlage, mal ging sie, mal nicht,! Die Steckdosen im Bad defekt! Der Etagenflur, wurde nicht gesaugt, der Putz lag die ganze Woche im Flur auf dem Teppich.Fliesen am Boden locker . Der Poolbereich ungepflegt!!!! Schimmel,Moos und fehlende Fliesen im Pool.Meine Tochter hat beim Tauchen Schrauben und Plastik hochgeholt Kippenstummel zwischen den Palmen. Es scheint auch niemand den Bereich zu reinigen oder zu Pflegen. Das Frühstück war auch früher so viel besser… Die Dame die sich um die Zubereitung der Eierspeisen kümmert, trägt keine Handschuhe, das kenn ich so garnicht! Es ist wirklich schade! Wir haben 320 EUR pro Nacht bezahlt, dafür bekommt man woanders 5 Sterne!

Das Hotel und vor allem der Poolbereich ist in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. ( z.B. defekte Poolliegen, gerissene Fliesen, die Beschattung funktioniert nicht, die Poolauflagen sind verdreckt und fleckig usw.) Die Zimmer sind von der Größe OK, Das Interieur sollte zumindest teilweise erneuert werden. Personal : ALLE sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The property is amazing, the staff were super friendly, the food was amazing and all of the inside areas were great as well as the views around my room. It is on top of hill which is a pain to walk around but at least I got my exercise. The a/c thermostat looked really old, I had to keep turning it off and on to keep it cooling the room.

This was probably the best hotel stay I’ve had. The staff were absolutely incredible and so attentive. It truly felt like they couldn’t be happier to get you whatever you needed which was great and the lovely Juan Carlos gave us some great restaurant recommendations! The room was comfy, clean, and well cared for and the spa was lovely to relax in. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but would definitely recommend and would definitely book again!

This hotel is outdated and uncomfortable. The beds were very uncomfortable and the air conditioning does not work. I think there was some mold that gave me allergies (I realized this when digging through reviews others had). Breakfast is served very late (later than advertised) and the dinner at the hotel is awful. Mallorca is a fabulous island and we plan to return and stay at another hotel. The staff are trying and this seems to be an issue with management and overall upkeep. The spa services are separate from the hotel itself and are great. I would recommend staying elsewhere and trying HSpa

The staff was amazingly professional and customer orientated!!!! We had a little situation with the original tour of the city, no fault of the staff! Though I was a bit disappointed, they went above and beyond themselves in reassuring us that there were other ways to see the city and to enjoy ourselves. Sandra was most accommodating and truly an asset to the hotel.

My wife and I had a super short break at the hotel - staff were charming, bedroom was perfect - and dining was excellent - a bit of a yomp if you want to walk into Palma town centre but lots of buses passing near hotel and a taxi ride is not expensive - we will stay again.

Un très bel hotel qui surplombe la baie de Palma avec de belles vues sur la mer. Les prestations sont de haut niveau aussi bien les chambres vastes et avec un ou plusieurs balcon, le petit dejeuner buffet superbe, le restaurant et le spa magnifique interieur et exterieur. Nous y étions avec mes deux filles de 15 et 20 ans au mois de janvier. Seul bemol il est un peu a l'écart du centre de Palma mais plusieurs lignes de bus passent a proximité et permettent d'être dans la vieille ville en 20 mn et il est possible de rejoindre le port a pieds. Si vous voulez voir plus de choses dans Majorque une voiture est indispensable.

Fabulous experience, staff super friendly and helpful - we paid additional for breakfast which was superb however had to pay for entire stay when we left at 5am so the little 'picnic' was not worth the extra, only a little glitch but easy to fix for 5* experience - loved the hotel and location with a quick taxi into town - woukd live to return!

This hotel is in desperate need of renovation and the rooms and lobby appear rundown and over the hill. I’m sure it was great and maybe even 5 stars at some point. The pool area has dirty sunbeds and the food in the hotel restaurant was absolutely awful. The service was non-existent as well. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant twice and both time had to go inside to try and find a waiter after sitting outside for 20 min. When the food arrived, it was undercooked and tasted of old cooking oil. Stay clear of the restaurant and buy lunch in town, should you choose this hotel.

Soulless hotel, old hotel without the benefit of old 5* hotels and lacking quality in room equipments, inability to manage noisy guests, lack of attention of staff. Poor quality of food.

Bom hotel mas muito poucas opções de comida e com preço elevado. Na piscina por exemplo não há serviço, tem de se comer à mesa no restaurante e não há opções de snacks, apenas pratos. De resto, boa estadia!

Nice people working at the hotel and very helpful. The hotel has seen it’s best days. The food at the resturant was not acceptable with among other things 2 servings with raw chicken.
