Riad dar lalla

Arriving in extreme heat. I was turned away at the door as I had the wrong property. The addresses are hard in marrakech. I only had a screenshot of the address. The lady spoke no English. I asked to use her Wi-Fi so I can log on & she said no. I had to then walk back into the centre to get Wi-Fi from a cafe for me to confirm I was at the right property. I went back, she apologised. Why? I confirmed my name but obviously as she spoke no English it was pointless communicating. I then checked in with someone on a mobile. Room itself was lovely. Down an alley but all riads are like this! Breakfast was plentiful. I was allowed to leave my luggage for a few hrs after check out. I will know in future to have my hotel printed off. But was it my fault?

This is probably one of my favorite places we have ever stayed! I was traveling with a girlfriend, and we had the most marvelous time in Marrakech, partly thanks to the lovely staff at this riadh. We very much felt at home, and it was a fantastic home base to explore the city from!

A fantastic stay - we stayed for one night then went on a 3day desert tour and then came back to 2 nights. The hotel kindly looked after our bags and were a great support. We had a challenge on day 1 as another hotel told us they were our driver and took us to the wrong place but Riad dar lalla were amazing, came and got us and walked us safely to the right place. They even offered to have dinner made for us on an evening!

The staff here is super kind & helpful. Our main host was communicative with parking and reaching the Riad itself. The breakfast was delicious! The room itself was fine but could use some love and attention. It desperately needs updates with plumbing so water can flow/stop effectively. Otherwise it’s located in a decent area and could be worth the stay.
