Renovation is occurring at Harrigans pub- so no entry from accom side, parking impacted near block 5 too. Walls leaked and bathroom smelt whole time.

The reception was friendly and fast, the pool was lovely on a 38 degree day and all the gardens are well kept. Rooms were spacious with tea and coffee making and a good size fridge but would have liked a toaster and bowls/plates to save eating out every meal. Parking right at your door is great too which had the car undercover and cool. Centrally located for Pokolbin attractions.

Lovely place to stay, friendly staff very accomodating, good food we had breakfast in the bistro awesome pancakes my husband had big breakfast. beautiful grounds and scenery. Feel like you’re on holidays, kids had a great time in the pool, there’s a big pool for older kids and smaller pool joined for toddlers. Really nice place for families to stay it’s quiet, beautiful gardens serene setting to relax and just be. Will come back here again! Very close to Hunter Valley gardens we came for the Christmas lights.

Chambre propre, simple mais correcte pour un motel. À noter : une bouteille d’eau de 50ml pour 3 c’est un peu limite. Un nettoyage plus approfondi de la piscine serait nécessaire mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de nous rafraichir. Possibilité de garer son véhicule à l’ombre et proche du logement On mange tres bien au pub mitoyen.

We booked a room for 5 persons and the room was prepared for 4 people. When asked, we were told that it is possible to make the sofabed and bring a towel, but only against additional costs. The room was dates and poorly cleaned and had a half eaten cherry and similar items on the floor

Accommodation is very run down and needs an upgrade. Cupboards don't close , broken tiles inside and out, paint peeling and filter on air conditioner needs cleaning as we had on 16 to cool room. Room was not cleaned properly with water bottle left under front of lounge. Cockroaches running around room , but there was spray left in cupboard to use. Staff in pub where not very helpful at times. Over all I would not stay again , plenty of other places to stay in same area that would be better value for money. Very poor.

The hotel facilities were dirty my bed sheets had blood stains and urine stains and the shower had no hot water bar a drip. Reception was closed and staff in the bar area stay my only options were to wait until 10am the following morning or call up after 10am. I left my number and complaint - no one called me. I then called and sent an email with pictures and I have had no reply. the bar area and restaurant is nice and recommend going there for dinner or drinks, However, the hotel and the lack of customer service i have received I wouldn't go back again.

After working out the receptions was located at a different location we made it to the property TV had foxtel but nothing worked. apparently a fault with all of the rooms. no tv at all Bathroom door handle about to fall off Shower tap about to fall off Shower rose needs a clean. or replacement Doors are dirty. finger prints around the place. either a good clean or paint

Definitely not 4 star, I’d give it a 3 star at best. Rooms are a motel style set up, furniture outdated and damaged, alarm clock Broken. Booked the Deluxe room, nothing like the pictures, lamps were old and stained, fridge leaking water. No cutlery, no plates, no microwave, just a kettle. Air con in main room only, not in the bedroom. Bathroom was great, nice big spa, no issues here. Bed was nice and soft, very comfortable.

Lovely space, spa bath in bathroom was great, outdoor area a bonus, couple of maintenance issues in room, toilet seat closing was deafening. Shower taps don’t turn off properly. Property nicely maintained. However pool & pool area needs extra TLC. Top row of tiles needs cleaning as depths marker tiles very dirty & hard to read. (Safety issue) Staff in restaurant were great.

Bed was very comfortable. Quite noisy rooms but ear plugs were provided. Expected noise so no problem. Rooms long overdue an update but were clean. Actually quite good for weekend away with friends.

To have to walk from the Mercure to pick the room key up 700 meters away is ridiculous. Blame in on staff shortages. It’s been like that since Xmas 23. I call BS. This is the worst service possible. Definitely will not be recommending this to any of my interstate and OS visitors.

We did not receive a free breakfast. Even though we booked for 5 guests and had a confirmation for 5 guests we were charged an extra $25 for the fifth guest. But the sofa bed did not get made up and only 4 towels were supplied.

The room was a good size, the beds were very comfortable. We liked that our car was under shelter. It was a good location to base ourselves and visit the surrounding wineries The staff were professional and friendly and the cleaning staff were very efficient at their job It was great to have our linen changed and our bed made very day and our room given a general tidy up

Open all day for food whilst other hotels were not on a Monday. Everything was catered for after a long drive. Comfortable sleep. Had to check in at the Mercure down the road.

2 minute walk to an Irish pub where you can enjoy terrific meals and drinks. A short walk to other attractions or an easy drive of just a few minutes. Spacious room, large bathroom, very quiet with a pleasant balcony area.

We had an amazing stay over the Easter holiday. The location of Harrigan's makes it easy to enjoy all the benefits of the Hunter Valley. The staff provided fantastic customer service and the longest we waited for a meal was 15min, which was amazing for the amount of people ordering meals.

Great find for the location being close to wineries. Was not informed that check in was at another location off site so had to get back in car and go down the street to checking. Once there, it was easy from then on. Would recommend this spot. Pub food was pretty good. Also bar area and slot machines were convenient.

Rooms were basic, cheap and a good location, however the service provided within Harrigans Pub was absolutely appaling. If you are looking for a cheap room and have no intentions of good service then Harrigans is great, however buyer beware if you want to consider a meal and a few drinks.

This essentially pub accommodation and meals priced as high end. Room was fine, but dated fittings. Biggest disappointment was the bistro. While mistakes happen, when we complained about one of the meals, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders

Like sleeping on a marshmallow cloud Slept all night Had a lovely outlook over the grapevines Dinner in the bistro, salted caramel ice cream sundae divine Breakfast the next morning, huge big breakfast, eggs Benny.
