This hotel was fabulous. I wish we had had more nights here. It’s off the grid so very eco friendly. Great service and they had wine tasting as well. Highly recommend.

Rather than a "Boutique" hotel I would describe this property as an elevated holiday park with well-appointed cabins. We experienced a range of disappointing things that required multiple visits to the onsite staff member. THERE IS NO INTERNET CONNECTIVITY IN THE ROOMS and limited cell coverage. Management justifies this by saying "they don't advertise that they have internet". Nowadays, that's the same as not advertising they have electricity or running water. Our initial unit, around the back with a view of some shipping containers, was storm damaged which limited the outside use due to the heat. There were a range of small issues with the room that were all down to a lack of attention to detail and or staffing. Dirty walls and fans, no coat hangers, air con not set up, previous guests wine glassed in the room. We genuinely were looking at moving to another hotel and walking about from our money. Management offered us an upgrade and the room was much better. But again, attention to detail. The couch had stains on almost every cushion and arm, some brown, some white. They replaced all the cushions with clean ones but a guest shouldn't have to point this stuff out. Also the bath didn't drain well, on inspection I found a live coach roach and plant roots growing up the drain. The grounds could be very beautiful but haven't had attention in years. Details matter, especially when you propose to be a boutique hotel.

Comfy (seriously, those pillows were awesome), had just what we needed for an overnight stay. LOVED watching kangaroo hop by! Only wish the rooms had wifi.

The duty manager was really friendly and we had a lovely quiet 3 night stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed including a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge. The gas heater was awesome and we were very toasty over a cold winter weekend. I love that it’s a eco friendly resort. The only negative thing was no wifi in the rooms. This isn’t clear on the website. Mobile reception was a bit patchy too so it was difficult to get any work done.

It was fine but would advise you to drastically lower expectations as it was most certainly not a 4 star property. Perhaps a solid 3 star-3.5 stars. The property was generally clean and you were hit with the smell of chemical cleaners as soon as you entered, however cobwebs and small spiders remained in ceiling corners, a dead spider was inside on the floor in front of us as soon as we entered. Crockery required to be washed again before use as there were food stains left on them . Furniture was tired with couches visibly sagging in the middle and uncomfortable to sit on. AC unit appeared to be out of order with no power light shown and the remote holder and remote removed from the wall (visible marks where it used to be housed). Lighting was dingy and dull when curtains drawn, however curtains were required to be drawn for privacy as the main door opened to the public road with no sheer curtain option available.

The manager was great at communicating although reception closed at 4pm and we arrived after that to be met with a room that had filthy bathroom and bedroom mirrors like someone had wiped down with dirty clothes. You actually couldn't see yourself in the bathroom mirror, I had to get a cloth and clean. The carpet (1m2) was soaked next the the bed. I put layers of towels over it it by the morning they were brown with whatever they were soaking up. The property is very very run down. Toilet door falling apart at the bottom from water damage. Shower mixer broken. The beds were fine and the gas fire was great. I am yet to speak to the manager about compensation for the wet floor and condition of the room on arrival but he seems quite reasonable and was apologetic for the water which he didn't know about. But the property was dirty, old and rundown. The couches and bar/dining chairs are all Fabric and were filthy with stains and spills. Unfortunately needs a refresh, was probably lovely when first built. But the location next to peppers was great for an easy dinner at Nineteeen. It's just disappointing that properties don't maintain and update filthy furniture or sufficiently check their cleaners lack of cleaning skills. I don't often write reviews but sadly the 'boutique' part of this property is very misleading. But jason the manger was very prompt in responding to issues (although due to no other rooms couldn't move us).

Safe parking and quick and easy check-in. Air conditioning wasn't very good, we slept on the loungeroom floor on the mattress. I found hair in the shower drain which was a turn off

The property is in a excellent area and very close to restaurants and wine cellars I was just a little disappointed with the cleaning a lot of dust especially in the closet and spider webs on the ceiling of the living room and stained furniture

A beautiful property, the grounds are well maintained. I was in a 2 single 1 king bed unit which was was very spacious and well layed out, beds were very comfortable. My issue was that the adjoining unit when they used the shower (which happened to be at 4.40am) and think maybe 2 or 3 showered individually, the noise in the main bedroom woke us up. It started as 4 bangs, followed by a whooshing sound then ended with constant beeping like a life support monitor, this would go on for as long as the shower was being used. We were woken twice during the night and had a very disturbed sleep. I also noted the walls and skirting boards could do with a clean, especially in the bathroom. Not sure if I would book again.

Property was in a great location and staff were very helpful and accommodating. The bathroom however wasn’t very clean. Still had hair everywhere, toilet was dirty and bathtub was not scrubbed either. There were also a lot of dead insects on the ceiling near the door.

Nice spacious bedroom and lounge room with great view over the valley. Good quality kitchenette. Bathroom was a bit odd -toilet seat didn’t fit properly and the water for the shower was the wrong way round. Loved the location as we had things to do at Bimbadgen -500m walk.

We absolutely loved our stay. Our premier villa was perfect - well appointed and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a kitchenette. The location was lovely with so much wildlife to enjoy. We saw kangaroos from our window and were able to walk out a couple of time s and enjoy them. Highlight of my trip! Staff were lovely and helpful. There is no wifi in the room - not a big deal but something to be aware of . You can go to the office or cafe area to get online. We wished we had stayed more than one night, it was so lovely.

The AC automatically turn off every 4 hours it is no good esp night sleep is disturbed when you feel it is uncomfortable due to warm room and even a big conccern when someone is having a hard time getting back to sleep again

The H Boutique Hotel is overrated. Definitely should not be marketed as a Hotel but rather as Cabins. No Housekeeping for a 3 night stay. Cracks in bathroom walls, no exhaust fan cover. lounge faced a wall. Air Conditioning was pre-set from reception and controlled by them. No Restaurant/Cafe on site. Not enough coffee satchels for two guests for three nights. The only positives, plenty of parking and comfortable bed and pillows..

We loved our stay at H boutique hotel, it had a fantastic location, central to heaps of wineries. Matt the manager could not have been any more friendly or helpful during our stay. We would happily stay there again!

The property was great. I was a little disappointed that there was very small tubes of shampoo etc for two person stay over two nights and a request for fresh towels seemed to be an extra forty or so dollars. I never mind paying for accommodation so long as I don't have to supplement basics like shampoo or fresh towels, particularly as the nearest shops are about twenty minutes drive away. I would have packed them myself but have stayed in hundreds of hotels and things like fresh towels and basic shampoo/body wash were (I thought) part of the package.

I booked 4 rooms and received a phone call 2 hours prior to check in requesting payment while driving the minibus even though they had my Card as security. On arrival the property has no EFTPOS machine and each separate room needed an SMS response from their bank. I booked with AMEX but it is not accepted for payment. It was very cold and 1 room had a sign declaring that the heater was unserviceable. This was not declared at check in. The rooms themselves were really spacious and had everything required for our stay.

Great location in the valley for exploring wineries close by. Easy to walk or bike ride to Bimbadgen, Horner Wines and First Creek but there are also plenty of gems in a short driving distance. The villa gave plenty of space to relax for a weekend with a lovely verandah outlook of dams, trees, grass and kangaroos. The kitchen is adequate for tea and toast, wine and cheese, or takeaway meals.

Clean and comfortable. Good location. Friendly staff. Our room was like a studio apartment in a motel-style setup, but with a cabin vibe. We were there for a concert at Bimbadgen winery next door, and it was so convenient and easy to walk there. Considering most of the other guests seems to be there for the concert, it was amazingly quiet. Nice views towards mountains from the table and chairs out front. Will definitely stay again.

If you aske, they'll bring a BBQ to yiur villa, we had steak and salad both.nights and splyrged on our lunch. Bed qas beautiful, shower was hot with good pressure, villa was lovely with an AMAZING view and a gas fireplace. We watched the hotair balloons both mornings.The staff were amazing, big call out to Matt and Daniel, they were both so welcoming and helpful and also make the best coffee. Thank you for having us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Gorgeous grounds, lovely apartment, very well equipped. Very smart and modern. Comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom, loads of hot water. Staff lovely. Very short walk (5mins) out of the back gate to a great wood fired pizza restaurant. Would definitely recommend.
