Considering the high price, the cleanliness was not as good as expected. The water slide at the pool was incredibly fun. However, the pool felt small for the number of guests, so there were always too few sunbeds, and they were packed too closely together, which was uncomfortable. During the aqua zumba class, the instructor seemed to have a knee issue and led part of the session while sitting on a chair.

The hotel and staff was amazing. Their beach was small, and the hotel restaurant was very expensive. Although we paid for an ocean view balcony, they charges us $55.00 a day to park the rental cap. I thought this was ridiculous. Hotel was very clean, ocean view was fabulous though.

If you didn’t get up at 5:30 in the morning and start reserving your seat at the pool area, good luck trying to find a spot to relax pool side. Also people that would set items on the pool chairs very early went to the beach and showed up at the pool hours later which is really unfair. I did not like this place very much. Staff looked angry like they did not want to be there. Signs showed unattended pool chairs would be cleared of items left on them but they would be there for hours on end with no one doing anything to give other people a chance to sit pool side. People running around in the hallways being loud with no regards off people sleeping late at night. Not the relaxing place I was expecting. Island was great and tours were great but this place not so much. Not worth the money I spent.

A very large hotel in a small city what it lacks is amenities that match the size of the hotel the pools are very undersized. The beach is very small poolside service is nearly nonexistent and they provide no entertainment or music on the beach at night.

The only thing I didn’t really like was the lack of lounge area by the pools. There was not enough seating compared to the size of the pools. The rest of the property is beautiful. I am disappointed with the trend of the resort fees always added on. Just roll this into the nightly price of the room

The Good and The Bad 1. The pool here is beautiful … but it’s not heated … meaning it’s COLD. Never been to a nice upscale resort that had a cold pool. My wife and I would refer to it as ‘the polar plunge’ or ‘hey, want to hit the ice bath?’ 2. There are waaaaaay more people at the resort than there are beach / pool chairs. Meaning if you don’t get in line at 7:45 am before the pool opens …. You have very high odds of not getting chairs. Then you can put your beach bag and towels down on the ground like a hobo … that’s awkward. 3. Parking …. There is a $52 a day resort fee added to your bill but this does NOT cover parking. Parking will cost you an extra $55 a day ! And it’s off site parking … meaning it’s a long, long walk to the room. The Good !!! …. 1. The rooms are great. We had an ocean front room and the view was spectacular. Balcony is awesome and very spacious. 2. Grounds are really clean and taken care of so well. Staff is very friendly and helpful … a real plus. 3. Location. It’s right in the heart of everything. Easy walk to soooo many things. If you don’t plan to explore the island you def do not need a rental car. - - - - In conclusion : it’s an extremely nice hotel. If you don’t minds hoards of people (or maybe you like hoards of people) it’s worth staying at. You’ll be treated very well (but don’t expect anything to be done on a budget! )

Unbeatable location in Waikiki. Stunning hotel. Great service from staff in hotel and restaurants. Both pool areas were lovely, but definitely lacking umbrellas/shaded areas and the price of the cabana beds was unreasonably high.

The room we had on the 31st floor facing Diamond head was amazing and the hotel/room itself was very clean. We enjoyed our stay there. However, we did not like that a flat sheet was used to cover the bed as it would get tangled up at night at our feet and whatever is used on the bed for comfort would absorb the body heat making it too hot to sleep. Also, the pool and surrounding areas could use some cleaning and collecting of the sand more consistently.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed during my stay March 20-24, 2025. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate my birthday, and ended up getting engaged the first night which was a highlight. However, the hotel was not up to our standards or worth the expensive price we paid per night. While the view from the room was spectacular, and the bed was comfortable, the pillows were awful. Completely flat with no support. The mirrors in the hall and bathroom were still dirty. The bathroom reeked of mildew so terribly. The elevators also smelled completely awful every day, as if people went from the ocean and pools soaked them and they were never cleaned or replaced. It honestly made me gag and hold my breath every time we had to ride the elevator. I also wasn’t a fan of the layout. This may be my fault, but being essentially right next to and on top of a shopping mall makes it extremely crowded and noisy all hours of the day. The infinity pool was relaxing but there was no server who came to the pool to take orders so it was annoying having to get out and walk to the bar each time. Overall I just feel like service was lacking and the hotel and rooms were dirty and unkempt. I expected much more from the Sheraton and it’s unfortunate they were such a disappointment during such a special weekend.

Fresh blood on our duvet. We ask them to change it 3 times before they actually did anything. Other 2 times they said they would come and instead would just make the bed with the same bloody sheets. The pillow cases and bathroom smelled like wet dog.

The view was beautiful, the shower and bidet were also very nice, beds were soft and the cleaning ladies were so sweet genuinely loved them. Downstairs had lots of stores and amazing food. My complaints would be there was not a microwave, there were surprise fees such as a daily resort fee and they charge to use the parking garage, they charged my card $200 without warning and I was refunded halfway through my stay. There is also no room service. Beautiful hotel but things could be improved logistically.

The rooms are smaller than the ones at the Outrigger WIakiki. There is no day room available for people who leave later in the day so you have to pay extra to shower if you want to be clean for the flight. The concierge was too lazy to make reservations for my son’s birthday at a specific restaurant I requested and stated the restaurant didn’t take reservations, which once there I discovered they did but it was too late by that point as the restaurant was booked up. The family pool is in the shade by 2pm bc the towers surrounding it are so tall and children are not welcome in the side where the sun was so the pool got too cool in the afternoon for children. Pretty sub par for the rate.

For some reason they only have double beds when they have space to have 2 queens in the room. The pool is not heated. Great location, cannot beat it. Excellent view of Diamond Head if you get an oceanfront room.

The rooms are on the smaller side, enjoyed our view of the ocean and Diamond Head. Rooms are not very sound proof heard a lot of noise from Waikiki nightlife. Also very crowded area so if you are looking for a peaceful visit this is not the hotel for you. The room was very clean.

My husband has issues with using his hands. We have a bidet at home to make things easier for him and we were so happy to see that there was one in the bathroom! What I don't like is the bathroom area is so small that it is hard to get ready in the morning. No counter space to do your hair and set anything on the bathroom sink counter.

Some things to improve: 1) Wifi was extremely slow 2) no real coffee cups and plates (only paper) 3) other guests were smoking on the balcony perhaps you can put signs or even consider installing smoke detectors

Rooms were lovely and had a calming atmosphere. Appreciated that they had hot water kettles and mini fridges in the room as well. It’s an active hotel, lots of guests in and out but stil feels relaxing. We primarily rented for location of the beach and the pool. Pool was pretty crazy though. Near impossible to get a chair to sit which was challenging. Great food options and easy to snag a Lyft or uber. Arlene was great at touching up our room each day. Great care overall.

Absolutely loved this property and our oceanfront room. The reason for the five stars is for the adults, only infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Pretty much everything you need is on site and it’s right in the heart of Waikiki so you can walk to everything. The front desk, staff and security team detail need to level up their customer service. I almost wanted to give a three star rating, but the pool and room overlooking the ocean outweigh the bad experience with the customer service team at the front desk. We left some expensive personal items at the pool that’s on us, but we could not find anybody at the hotel who would help us see if our missing items were in lost and found after repeated attempts with multiple parties on site we gave up.

My third stay at the Sheraton Waikiki and it was great. Friendly staff at front desk and restaurant, large room with balcony, housekeeping staff always greeting me in hallways. Very good value for the location. Only downside was too many people in lobby/pool/elevators (week between Christmas and New Year). Better to stay here during slower times.

While I truly appreciated the location and the convenience of being close to both great food and the beach, there were a couple of issues that impacted my experience. Upon checking in, I was surprised by the lack of warmth and friendliness from the staff. Unlike my experiences at the other two hotels I stayed at in Hawaii, the staff member at check-in seemed distant and impatient, despite me not having any questions or concerns at that moment. A welcoming attitude would have been much appreciated. Additionally, I discovered a dark red spot on the bedsheet. While it appeared to have been washed, the stain was still noticeable and made me feel uncomfortable. By the time I noticed it, I was too tired to contact room service, but I felt it was an issue worth noting. On a positive note, the staff during checkout was incredibly friendly, and I also appreciated the bellman’s assistance with luggage storage. Their kindness and helpfulness made up for some of the earlier experience.

Was in town for a weekend trip to run the Honolulu Marathon. Staff was extremely kind, great service at the restaurants, and walking distance to many stores. The bidet in the bathroom rooms are a nice touch. You can walk right onto the beach from the hotel. Room was very spacious. Everything was top notch.

Nice property! Right next to the beach. It’s literally connected to the pool so it’s easy to go back and forth. It’s in walkable distance to a bunch of stores and the mall. The pool closes at 8 so make sure you get there early. Other than that no complaints and 10/10 trip that I will remember.

You can’t beat the view and the pool. It is busy and hustling and bustling. Kai market is overpriced and not good for breakfast. Edge is good for pool drinks and eats is good but RumFire is the same menu. No nightlife not a good selection of restaurants. Front desk was rude and overworked. Maid service hit or miss.

Nice resort right on the Waikiki beach. Also has some of the best pools in the area. However dining menu in restaurants could be better, and the pool beds need some shade and privacy (they are all jammed next to each other).

We LOVED our stay at Sheraton Waikiki! It's right on Waikiki Beach, so the location was one of the best parts. We got an ocean front room, which was so worth it. The room was very clean and just like the photos! The bathrooms could use a little bit of an upgrade especially for the price of the rooms, but I think the view, location, and our stay overall were so worth it. The staff was always so kind, professional, and courteous, and the dining options/restaurants within the hotel were incredible. We also loved having Honolulu Coffee right in the lobby! I would absolutely stay here again.

The views were amazing, we booked a pool side cabana and really enjoyed it. We found the resturants limiting, higher prices than nearby hotels and the service slow. We enjoyed the bar, happy hour, food and service much better next door.

Great location. To get a beach chair must be down by 7:30am. They say they clear stuff left before 8am, but that isn’t true. No umbrellas around the poll, except for 4 at adult pool (first chair to go each morning). Food options around pool suck. RumFire’s food is not good.
