Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Raton by IHG

Rooms are being refurbished and are nice. Common areas in process.

The lobby area has an off-putting odor and the staff wasn’t very helpful. Once in the room it was pleasant as I would expect from Holiday Inn.

We have stayed here before without any issues, but I think the construction going on has taken a toll on this facility. The room was not as clean as usual. Staff was friendly enough, but only willing to do the minimum as far as service.

Nice, clean hotel. The room was great. Breakfast was really good. We didn't realize it was included, so that was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

There are areas of the hotel that are under construction and not available. We only used the stay as an overnight stop on a road trip, so it was of limited impact to us. The room we had was spacious and clean. Hotel felt secure, and staff was pleasant. Breakfast was OK, nothing exciting, but typical for this brand/style of hotel.
