Check in staff were very kind and fast. Whole hotel and room was very clean. The bed was really uncomfortable and hard in my opinion. We chose this hotel because it had a pool and was disappointed to get here and find out the pool was not available. We were only here for one night and served it's purpose. Would stay again if needed.

The stay overall was good. The pool was full of young kids that were unsupervised. They used at least 30 towels from the pool and were dipping them in the pool and hot tub. A few kids who were around 3-5 were in the hot tub as well. The hot tub was hot but they were waiting on a part to fix it, so you could still soak in it but not while it was full of kids.

The lobby was new and very nice but the toilet in the room was so dirty, the inside of the mini fridge was dirty too. There was a dirty q-tip on the ground in the bathroom too. The pool is in a weird spot with big windows so it’s very visible from the parking lot, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it.

The staff was great. There was a leak in the workout room and debris in the hall. Drawers in the room would not stay closed, i had to prop items against them to keep them closed. Shower dripped. Breakfast buffet was barely warm. Dogs were barking and children running halls knocking on doors.

Very nice place to stay. I will book there again next year when I come up in September. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of pillows. Kitchenette was nice too. I had forgotten my hair dryer and loved the fact they had one in the room. The only complaint I have was I think the carpet and the floor in the bathroom could have been cleaner. The carpet had a lot of dirty spots on it. Other than that I would definetely recommend.

I loved This hotel. The staff was great. A woman came to brig in new towels for the pool even though we had plenty. The morning front desk girl was so happy and cheerful. And there was a gentleman making the food for breakfast and he was letting us know that fresh French toast was coming out. The breakfast had so many options! The only downside was I could hear all the people in the hallway early in the morning. They weren’t loud but I could just hear them. I could hear someone blowing their nose while I was in the bathroom. Also a dog in the hotel woke me up at 630am barking. I blame that more on the owner but just wish the room was quieter.

I booked this one night stay on Hotels.com and requested a room with a hot tub as this was the picture displayed on website. When we arrived we were given a Jr Suite but no hot tub. We were told we could not get a room with hot tub on Hotels.com because it had to be booked through the hotel instead. This was never told to us and Hotels.com needs to take down the picture of the hotel room with the hot tub, which we paid extra for as this room cannot be booked through them as shown. Our room was not refundable so could not cancel and rebook. Room was large but needed some updates. It was very cold and damp when we arrived in the room but even though we turned the heat up, it never got warmer. Apparently the temperature in the room is regulated so you cannot get it any warmer than management wants it to be. The TV in the room was very small and if your in bed, you can barely see it as the contrast was very dark. The channel controller would not work unless we got up and stood next to the TV and even then it was difficult to change channels. Frustrating! Shower was nice but it took about 5 minutes to get it where it was hot enough to get in. We got the Breakfast Buffet the next morning but was disappointed by the cold food that should have been hot. We did not use the restaurant. The staff was polite and apologized for our inconvenience but from the start to finish was not happy with a room we paid over $200.00 a night for. Will not stay again.

The hotel was quite nice. The room was clean and large. The staff was very friendly. One problem we had was when I closed the bathroom door (barn door style) the door became jammed and I couldn't get out of the bathroom! The door wouldn't budge. LUCKILY I wasn't alone. My husband had to tug on the door until it popped off the rail. I can't help but think about what would have happened if I was alone. unable to open the door, no phone, the door to my room was doubled locked. Maybe change the doors?

If you have to be snowed in, this is the place to do it!! My flights were cancelled twice, necessitating my keeping Holiday Inn as my home base for 4 days. Everyone was so nice and provided great information when asked! The meals were great also! Breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelettes - delicious! Dinner at Maplewood Bar and Grill was also great! Special considerations to Michelle, Cam and Rae for your help ~~ you were always in a good mood! 😃 Please commend housekeeping on the 2nd floor, for their help. I didn’t catch their names, but they did a great job. This will be my new “go to” place when I need to stay in Syracuse. 😊

This is our 2nd stay here; and, it is now our top choice when we are in the area. We like its location by major highways and that there is a gas station next door and a Tully’s Restaurant across the street. In both visits, it has taken about 15 minutes to check in, despite the fact that there was no guest in front of us and that we had already prepaid. They seem to have computer and/or internet problems frequently. This time, the problem may have been user errors by the staff person, who appeared to be inexperienced. We weren’t in a hurry, but if it had been busy, there would have been a line from the front desk out the door because of the delay. Other than that, the hotel is fine, the staff is friendly and it is a good place to stay.

The property is very convenient to the highway. The pool is always a big hit with the kids. We have stayed here when it was known as the Maplewood Suites, so we are very familiar with this property. We are disappointed that the new owners have done away with the free breakfast and the option to even purchase it was not possible during our recent stay! Please consider restarting this. It's really very inconvenient to drag kids to an outside dining location to eat in the morning...

The frig was broken , the chair was broken , the room was stifling hot when I walked in. I booked a King suite online and was told when I arrived that they only had a queen room with two beds. I have still not received a refund for the difference in the room costs. Staff said they couldn’t help and Hotels.com have been unresponsive.
