Entire trip was for daughter's athletic event and chose this hotell for pool/hot-tub for recovery...(not to mention wife's bad back, after 8 hour drive to Boise). Arrived to find it empty and staff dismissive...said Marriott closing all hot-tubs. Guess we wont' be staying at any Marriott's, ever again.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location is super convenient for college move-in for west campus dorms and apartments. Easy access, lots of parking. Convenient restaurant across the parking lot. Rooms have kitchenettes! I did not partake of the included breakfast, but I did take advantage of the coffee and iced lemon water in the lobby! Only disappointment was the hot tub was out of order.

Everything was great - free and plentiful parking, decent breakfast, and hot tub available. The only issue was the shower could use a major update (low pressure and no hot water unless sink is running also). Would definitely stay again.

Room I booked, the air didnt work in the bedroom. That was diappointing. They did upgrade us to a bigger room because of that flaw. The air is super finicky in the room. There also was one night there was no parking because their lot was full. The weekend manager was very accomadating and friendly.

The building is old the lights are dim the elevator is all the way at one end the door on the side did not work. It’s just an old building and needs some updating

A go to for us when we are in Boise. Clean rooms, happy employees and location is hard to beat. Close enough to downtown to walk or scooter and so close to so many touristy venues like the zoo and art museum. Highly recommend

It was our first time and will be our last at this hotel. We travel a lot for our kids sports tournament and been to TownePlace hotel many time at various locations along west coast. The room was dirty when we checked in. The hotel needs to do deep clean in the room. Dust on top of refrigerator, old popcorn under bed. Eww. We checked in the evening, tired from our flight, the lady at counter try to sell us the group rate booking for our swim team and forgot to put in Cleaning request. We stayed 3 night and zero room cleaning. Room near the road is noisy. Breakfast is below average compared to other TownePlace.

The following is my own personal experience. It took hours for the room to heat up and was probably the darkest motel room we\'ve stayed in. Definitely needs more lighting and, in this weather, keep the thermostat on for rooms that you know will be occupied. I had ordered a king bed suite. Hotel staff had already given those rooms to their "steady" customers, and I was third party. I ask; "So it doesn\'t really matter what room I order and pay for? That I am stuck with whatever room you pick?" Basically, she said "Yes". (I am paraphrasing as I do not recall the exact words spoken.) The room they issued us had 2 Queen\'s without any real separation of bedroom/kitchen. But it was clean, and breakfast was satisfying. Definitely plusses!

The beds were terribly uncomfortable, our shower was broken and had to be jimmy rigged to work each morning (I told front desk it needs to be fixed) the bathroom light also operated the sink area. You couldn’t use the restroom without turning the light on for the whole room to wake up. No lamps other than bedside so the room was dark.

Really pleased with the location - across the street from BSU and 10 minutes from Ann Morrison Park and the Boise Green Belt - also with the size of the rooms, and most of all with the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and truly seem to enjoy working here and with each other which says a lot about the management!

The location is great and the front desk staff was very nice. The kitchen was kind of a joke... 2 forks, 4 spoons, kind of dirty. There were 4 of us. There were no sheets/blankets for the pull-out couch and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We ordered a rollaway and there were sheets for that, but the thing was horribly noisy. We only had 3 towels and 2 hand towels.

Not sure who’s rating these hotels but this is definitely not 4 stars more like 2.5-3! Only 1 small bathroom mirror in the entire room - very hard to get ready when you have a couple of people staying in the room. Very outdated furniture and decor - kept running out of food at breakfast.
