We stayed for one night, used valet parking and no other services. The day after we had left, I received an email saying they were charging us $500 for smoking in the room. Neither of us smoke, and the alleged incident occurred eight hours before we even checked in (according to them). I tried calling the phone number provided in the email at least six times, no one answered nor was there an option to leave a voicemail. I emailed back, and was told the charge was done in error as we weren’t even on the property at that time. Five days later, there are two charges on our card (one for $585 and another for $96) and I emailed again, never received a response.

A very pleasant stay Everything about our stay was very good, but I would particularly like to highlight the friendliness, professionalism and efficiency of the staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely kind, helpful and attentive, which made a real difference to our experience. As a small suggestion for improvement, I would consider having a few more staff members during breakfast. The team working there was very friendly and efficient, but they seemed a little understaffed for the number of guests, which meant they were constantly rushing around to keep up with everything. This is certainly not a criticism of the staff — quite the opposite. They were doing an excellent job despite what appeared to be a very demanding workload. Having some additional support during breakfast would, in my view, allow them to work at a more comfortable pace and make an already good experience even better. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, with exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. And the room was very clean.
