We stay here everytime we come to the Mayo. A good continental breakfast and the free shuttle service to the hospital and back helps tremendously! Clean, quiet and convenient!

Very nice selection and it's served until 10:00 am. The pool area is open 24 hrs and very nice. Easy parking with restaurants in walking distance.

The bathroom is cold in the room. Then 6 of us was stuck in the elevator for 30 mins until the fire department came! Once we got out no one from the hotel came to us to apologize or anything!

The property was nicely renovated; had a great breakfast selection AND even offered FREE soup and bread around 6pm. Pool and hot tub were open 24 hrs, though pool was being treated. The only negative was the elevator had stalled and needed repair. Also offered shuttle to Mayo though we chose to drive ourselves anyway. All in All a great property

Clean room and hotel, bike in exercise room was broken but everything else was very user friendly! There were no 10 or 15 pound weights but it was very clean! The room was great, super comfortable, but the shower sprayed everywhere (super old) and the faucet didn’t spray properly either. I enjoyed my stay!

Excellent stay. We were there for Mayo Clinic appt everyone was very helpful. Excellent with cleanliness. Enjoyed the hot tub for some relaxation. Thank you for complimentary soup, saving us time and energy after our drive up.

Our bathtub was filthy to the point that we actually only use the hose to wipe wet down our hair instead of taking a shower cause it was disgusting. The bed was so bouncy that when my spouse rolled over, it was like a trampoline effect. The morning worker had his headphones on and he couldn’t ask him a question because he couldn’t hear you. The representative was actually very friendly. He was the only one that was friendly.

Friendly staff. Hotel was clean and comfy near mall and restaurants but did have a food truck in the parking lot as well. Rochester has a great hospitality feel to the community. This hotel keeps in line with that feel.

I just did not like this place. It was loud. The room was cramped. Like, I'm pretty sure they tried to fit every piece of furniture they could. The sink was not clean. The tub had a yellow ring around it. The bed bed had a yellow stain. Worst breakfast ever. Like the oatmeal was all water. There were no non dairy options. The potatoes were cold. The pool and tub attracted humanity's worst. They let glass in and people were smoking pot. Glass bottles evidenced by Corona caps around the hot tub. Noisy corridors. I can't believe this place has good reviews to be honest.

Very helpful and friendly staff, breakfast bar/coffee and very good food truck on property! Just wish the carpet around air conditioner wasn't all wet and musty mold odor was fixed before our one night's stay.

Although the room was a little smaller than I had expected, it was ver clean and comfortable. The hotel serves a full hot breakfast and has a soup hour M-Th which was very nice. Pool is open 24 hours.. Location was close to everything

The bed was clean and comfy with soft sheets. The shower had instant hot water and the towels were fluffy and soft. The big tv was a plus! Good, fresh breakfast with enough choices. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star review was the non-sound proof windows. We could hear all the traffic all night long. Every car, truck and motorcycle from 6pm -6 am with the windows closed at the end of November. If any walked by on the sidewalk, we could completely hear their conversation on the second floor. Our room was just above the main door. Maybe the rooms at the far end of the street were better?

The hotel is nice, updated, BUT the walls are thin, you hear everything in the hallways, kids running, doors slamming and if there is someone in the room above, you can hear them walking and moving around. The bed was way too firm for my husband and I. Breakfast was your standard, eggs with meat and waffles. There were bagels, muffins, cereal, both hot and cold and a variety of other things. Better offerings than other hotel chains. This hotel is located on a very busy road.

The window shade was broken and didn’t pull down. So we could be seen from the parking lot. The heater made a noise that sounded like dripping water. We got up to find the “leak” but finally guessed the sound was coming from the heater.

Joey, Was the manager on that day and he allowed us an early check-in. This was important to us because of health issues. Talked about places to go to eat and talked about everything we could do on the property. He was very respectful and kind which did not go unnoticed. I appreciated all of his help. Thank you Joey!!

I would not book this hotel with Expedia, the the gentleman at the desk gripped a little at our checkin about dealing with Expedia. If you book with them it’s basically the same price and you get complementary cold bottled water for each person checking in, not when using Expedia though as I saw the people in front of me get the free water and the people behind us. The room we had was probably the worst room in the hotel, directly above the entrance to the building and when you opened the curtains the view was the roof over the entrance and the pillars holding it up. The bed had clearly seen more than its life span and had a sag in the center. The night was a quiet stay over all surprisingly I must say.

Typical Hampton Inn. Nothing extra fancy but clean and convenient. They had hot soup every evening, which was kind of a nice touch considering that most people staying in this area are here for medical treatment at Mayo Clinic. The staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Room was clean. This was in a great location for us to get to Mayo Clinic, which was just a couple of miles straight down the street. There were many options for food in the area and also for entertainment. This felt like a very safe area. I highly recommend it.

close to mayo clinic only problem i encountered was he shuttle which took 45 minutes to go maybe 2 miles almost missed my appointment but i do understand why they did this next time it will be Hampton north

Reception and checkin were excellent, he even rushed to make sure the tea I liked was set out. Room was a little small, crowded compared to normal hotel rooms, but very clean and updated. Street noise was pretty loud, on main thorough fare. I would stay again, just because of friendly personnel and convenient location.

Breakfast was good and Hampton Inns have some of the better quality coffee available with their breakfast. My one issue is more of a statement about a design trend I've noticed that hotels have been leaning toward, why the sliding doors for the bathroom? It's a terrible idea, you can hear everything and it reduces the amount of privacy when doing ones business. Put the regular doors back.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and love it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The nightly soup options are great, especially the Baked Potato Soup. The food truck on the property and Mr. Pizza next door are great dining options if you want to skip the soup. The breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast but always fresh and replenished as soon as something gets low. My only suggestion would be adding a biscuit and gravy option to breakfast. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet, clean, and friendly place to stay when visiting Rochester, MN.
