The staff were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Beds are comfortable, good selection of pillows, plenty of clean towels. Has pool & small exercise room. Fantastic continental breakfast!! I love that it is connected to Famous Dave’s!! There is a shuttle to & from the medical center, which is VERY handy. Overall, it’s been a pleasant experience. The only complaint is (and this is probably partially because it is very hot & humid out right now) the carpet is moist, and if you don’t keep shoes on, your feet get sticky and a little dirty. There was also a small smear on the bedding that may have been blood? But overall / besides that, it was clean & no other complaints. I would stay here again.

This hotel was adequate for our multi-day strip for at Mayo. It was in a good location - close to Mayo, close to Hy-Vee grocery store, etc.. The beds were fairly comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There was a nice sized refrigerator in the rooms with kitchenettes. The hotel was fairly clean. Just know they are noted as a 2 or 2.5 star hotel. There is no full-time maintenance around the clock, so when our toilet overflowed late at night, they gave us a plunger to fix it. The had a single person at the front desk and they had a sign at the desk periodically that they stepped away temporarily. The swimming pool was broken on the first day, and the hot tub was blocked off during our stay, so call to see if they are working for your stay. The breakfast was so-so - nothing special and we usually skipped it. The house keeping service is limited - they will change towels and bedding, but they do not clean the dishes in the kitchenette. Some negatives were that there are many parts of the hotel in need of upgrading. The toilet seat in our room was worn out (see pic). That is a cheap item to replace. The toilet paper holders were rusty (see pic). The burner in the stove in the kitchen was dirty (see pic), and we didn't feel comfortable using it. The stove burners were sticking up (not flat). The hallway had scratches in the paint. The door to our room was hard to close and made the door frame shake when you close it hard.

The computers weren’t working to check in. The printers weren’t working. The pool and hot tub weren’t working. The employee working didn’t have the experience to work through the problems. They did allow us to cancel and said they wouldn’t charge us. I’m hoping we ain’t have a problem with That.

I stay in a lot of cheaper hotels, this one by far is worth the bang for the buck. Room was very big. Hotel looked older, but the pool area was big. Hot tub worked great. Kids loved it. I will definitely be back.

The place is reasonably clean. The front desk staff is nice and helpful. If you stay more than one night, know that housekeeping occurs randomly some days yes, some days no. Like most places nowadays, daily housekeeping is a thing of the past.

The room was unclean. We found items left by previous guests. When we filled the tub and turned on the jets the bubbles turned brown and black and there was hair in the tub like someone shaved and it wasn’t cleaned.

Buy a new toilet seat. It is so badly crap stained. Yes I have pictures. The bathroom floor needed a wet mop so bad. There was hair in the bathtub. I asked for cleaner & cloth to clean so I could use the bathroom. Front desk clerk gave me gloves too. I know he didn’t want to clean it.

The room was dirty on arrival. My bed was not made the following day. They only pulled the trash and left wet, dirty towels on the bathroom floor. The air-conditioner was so loud it couldnt be run. The guy at the front desk had no customer service skills. The guy who was putting hot food out for breakfast worked the kitchen with no gloves.

This is a great place if you’re on a budget and don’t mind a few minor annoyances and aren’t there for the ambience. The room was spacious and the pool was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. The ROKU box was broken and it took hours to get a replacement. One bedside lamp never worked and it wasn’t replaced. All in all, it’s a great deal, especially if you are in town for the Mayo Clinic, since there are discounts for patients and a free shuttle.

Overall, the room itself and the inside of the property were pretty clean. Only thing I noticed in the room was that there was a stain discoloration on the top sheet of the one bed; other than that my experience was overall a good one. Overall, it was a nice looking room and property, however things could be updated in terms of looks. The bathroom in my room was pretty clean, but some of the fixtures could definitely be updated here as well. Breakfast was pretty good as well, and the area kept clean. One thing that I note is that the staff here were super friendly and definitely seem to care about keeping the place fixed up; when my key card first didn't work to get in my room one of the staff accompanied me to check it out and got somebody to deal with the issue right away.

This hotel was ok. We had a kitchenette room that was definitely outdated. The faucet in the kitchen was loose and the stove coils were very loose but they did work. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the toilet was very loud when it filled, the AC didn’t work that well.

I would never come to this property again. I booked it because you gave it a four star rating and the description sounded great but nothing was working at the hotel in the two rooms they gave me to try and the phones weren't working and so I couldn't contact them to let them know And had to walk downstairs to the front desk to tell them about things that weren't working. The front desk person promised to come up and fix things, but never showed up all night long. Horrible.

I arrived late at night and the young man checking me in was most helpful and friendly (don't always see this at 11 pm!) Very clean and comfortable room, even including a selection of different thicknesses of pillows! (A bonus for those of us who don't like sleeping with our head a foot up in the air...) My husband and i were scheduled for him to have tests and an evaluation for heart surgery at Mayo Clinic. Our first flight was postponed and the airline was unable to change our flights to get us to Mayo in time. It was rhe evening before at 7:05 pm/mt when we found out we would not make the trip. I immediately called to cancel the reservation. I was then told that our money would not be refunded because the notification was too late. The booking was through hotels.com and they tried on 2 different occasions to get the refund from the hotel, but were we not able to.I will never book this hotel again!!!!

When I came in, although the front desk person was there, not once. Did he look up or say hello. there was a father with a small daughter waiting for some information from the person at the front desk who again didn't seem to be paying them any attention. they finally just left. This person at the front desk was not friendly at all. And once he did get to me between 5 and 10 minutes later, he gave me the impression. I was bothering him. his whole behavior seemed very rudehis whole behavior seemed very rude. He finally gave me a room, told me one number. And yet the room was actually several doors down. this would not have been bad, except after someone is knocking on my door it was somebody who was not a personnel person. he was telling me he was supposed to be staying in this room and I've already been in this room for about 2 hours. shortly after that, I got a phone call from someone allegedly from the front desk. Asking me what room I was in? And when I told him I have been in this room for 2 hours. Then, he said, okay. i was very nervous throughout the whole night because of this. i was too scared to sleep. If you are going to the Mayo this is hands down the easiest, most responsive staff, super easy parking and really nice shuttle service and AFFORDABLE place to stay! The staff is great and you never have to try to search for them. I've stayed at many hotels in Rochester and this is my go to everytime now!! What are you waiting for...book it!

Overall, I am glad we stayed there for 4 nights. We took a chance not knowing what to expect but everything turned out great for the price. Concerned that the place was hard to find at night when we arrived. Hidden towards the back from the road with very dismal lighting compared to the other hotels in the area.

This is super close to Mayo. Like a five minute drive. The rooms are so clean, I was impressed. It feels like a safe place in a sketchy area lol hard to explain. I keep having to stay in Rochester and this is the best affordable hotel I have found so far.

Nice place, nice price. Staff were friendly, breakfast was quite good w/ fresh pancakes and waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy etc. Only one elevator. Shuttle and driver were great, but can be a long ride or wait between returns.

Hotel is nothing like the pictures online. Room smelled like stale cigarettes. No pictures or decor anywhere. Beds need replaced. Breakfast was terrible. I read reviews prior to booking and reviews make it seem like this wonderful place. The only positive is its only 1 mile to Mayo Clinic.
