The property was clean and comfortable with most amenities that we needed. They had even given us a bottle of wine and chocolates for our anniversary. A lovely touch. It was in an excellent position for restaurants, bars and transport. We were within walking distance of most landmarks. We used the indoor pool once but found it to be quite isolated as you have to go down to and walk across the car park area. On the 2nd to last night we got back from our day out and couldn't get into our room. We got the reception to have a look and unfortunately it was a problem with the lock. We waited down in the lobby and about an hour after were told we had to move rooms. It was 8pm by this point and we hadn't eaten and had to cook our meal. Which we told the staff. We then had to move our stuff from one room to another. Which a staff member helped with. They said they had upgraded us but we saw no differences in the rooms except a TV in the bedroom. I know it wasn't anyone's fault but we thought they could have at least offered us a meal brought to our room as they did room service and we had to cook our meal at about 9pm at night. Irrespective of this we had a lovely time in Brisbane and the hotel was ideal for what we wanted.

Parking is great. This is our second time here. Must say the room felt a little old and darker overall. Facing Charlotte street. All still clean, having a little kitchen and laundry is so handy. The bathroom smelt quite bad, just that yucky dirty pipes kind of smell. Also 1 night i called reception for bottle opener for our red wine and was told no. Next night i asked a friendly person on the desk and he was so happy to arrange and send one up to the room. So that was a little disappointing. Also saturday morningwas awoken to building works right below our window. Sounded like they were doing it on our window and wall. So that was annoying for a sleep in away from kids! Overall great location, clean and spacious for a couple of night's away!

Oaks on Charlotte is a wonderful place for city stay. Very convenient to shops, transport, sightseeing. Walking distance to many places. Staffs are very helpful and room is very clean. Having laundry facilities is a big plus for us. Thank you and and is looking forward to next visit and stay.

The apartment location is two blocks away from Elizabeth Mall, where all the shops, sites, restaurants and transport links are. The apartment came with a living room, stocked kitchen ( microwave , fridge, oven, dishwasher and all utensils required. Pool is shaded at most times of the day due the surrounding buildings but if you time it right it is a plunge pool, bbq area, plenty of space around the area. Indoor lap pool is nice and warm, didn’t use the gym but the sauna is suitable. The room was very clean and pleased with all options of shower , laundry rooms. Free Wi-fi, tv in both bedroom and living room.
