Overall, the stay was not bad but a few small touches could have made it much better. The room was clean and the location was nice. The pool area could have been cleaner, and some of the minor things could have been nicer. There was no place to get ice, the TP was cheap and not readily available, and there were no complimentary waters etc.

The room was nice and clean but the pool closed early, the tables and chairs are not well kept, dusty. Also, tenants take up 2 parking spaces and parking is already limited. Not worth the money. It’s also still a long walk to the beach access with no sidewalk fyi

Tropical Breeze had great beach vibes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained. The amenities offered were great. Free waters and bags of ice. Free bikes and beach chairs. The pool was very clean. Walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Lots of options for food and drinks. There is a great little grocery store where you can get everything you need.

We stayed in a king suite with bunk beds. The space was great for our family of four. Room was clean and beachy. Both pools were heated and comfortable despite the cooler, cloudy weather. Walkable to restaurants and white sand beach. Our only complaint was no restroom near the pools, so if you’re at a pool a block or so from your room, you’ll have a bit of a walk to get to a restroom, which is not ideal with kids. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

The tropical breeze was very nice. It’s a conglomerate of small motels, not one contiguous property. Each is clustered around a pool. Close to the beach, clean, very spacious. Our room looked to be recently renovated. It has a full size fridge and full size stove (?!?) Walking distance to good restaurants and the beach and biking to everywhere on the key. They have bikes that guests can borrow for up to 2 hrs. The property was well maintained.

The property was beautifully landscaped. The pool, hot tub, and corn hole were nice amenities. The property is not beachfront but is an easy 2-block walk to beach access. I would definitely go back!

Just a short walk to the beach and a short walk to town. It was nice not having to rent a car. The resort has beautiful plants and trees. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. Inside was clean and well-kept and very comfortable.

The property was close to the beach and shops. The quality of the rooms was disappointing. The cost for the room was very expensive, so the expectations were high. Major issue with ants upon checking into the room. I get sugar ants are common in Florida, but the cleanliness of the room (or lack there of) created unsatisfactory conditions, for even a budget type hotel...but this expensive option having cleanliness issues and ants made for instant regret on picking this resort. Would not stay here again based on this experience.

I don’t normally write hotel reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes of helping others avoid the disappointment we faced. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the unit in a filthy state. There was dog hair on the couch and floor, crumbs on the coffee table, hair on the bed, and sand throughout the bedroom. The bathroom was even worse—there was a visible booger on one wall, what looked like a fecal stain on another, hair in the shower, and heavy makeup residue covering the bathroom door from top to bottom. I immediately went to the front desk to speak with a manager, only to be told there was none available. Housekeeping had already left for the day—despite it being right at check-in time—and the only option offered was to switch to a lower-tier unit for the night. I left my name and number and was assured the manager would contact me the next day. That never happened. Over the next two days, I repeatedly returned to the office hoping to speak with someone in charge. Each time, I was told the manager wasn’t available but would “definitely” reach out—yet no one ever did. We had specifically booked a unit with a private pool, but even that was a disappointment. The pool was dirty, the surrounding area smelled like a dead animal, and there was a serious ant problem. One evening, I got 54 mosquito bites just from sitting outside. The issues didn’t stop there: • The closet doorknobs fell off. • We requested an iron multiple times and never received it

We had an ant problem right when we checked into our room. I mentioned it to the receptionist, and a cleaner came, but only wiped the ants off the counters—something we had already been doing—so the issue continued throughout our stay. The room itself was generally clean, though the shower could have been a little cleaner. The front desk staff, however, were very nice and helpful. Overall, the biggest drawback was the ongoing ant problem.

This is exactly how this trip went for us: We were in room 283 (I believe) which was when you walk out the office door, head to the right, thorough the gate (pool is to your right) and head up the stairs directly in from tod you. The room is the door right at the top of the stairs. When we walked in, we were actually very pleased with the room. It looked like a small apartment, newly renovated. We rented a golf cart to get around, so it was very late when we returned. We open the door to the hotel, turned on the light and saw a cockroach scatter. We were shocked. Then we saw another one come from our room. We started looking around for them, and we pulled out the oven. That’s where we saw the traps and a few more roaches. We spoke to another family and they said they have been trying to get rid of the roaches in that room for over a month. We complained and they gave us a new room. We spent the rest of the night spraying for roaches and emptying our bags so we didn’t take roaches with us. It was a nightmare. The next day, they were pressuring us to get out at 10 AM when we were up till 3 AM trying to get rid of the cockroach situation and preventing us from carrying them with us when we left. They did not want to refund us at all. They said they gave us a new room and that they gave us free parking for the golf cart. They felt they did enough. We complained to Orbitz and Orbitz called them. Still nothing. Stay away from this place. Roaches spread.

This room was amazing, clean and confortable. The only thing i was desappoinment was the Air conditioner was seted up in 70 grades and we can not change the temperture in the room at night, was a little warm night at the rooms

Very convenient location with ample free parking. The one bedroom suite sleeps 2 people comfortably. The pull-out sofa is really uncomfortable. The pools are nice, but not very large. I would bring your own beach towels if you can, they only give you 4 towels for both the beach and the pool. And you are required to go to the office to swap them for clean replacements. We liked that the beach, shops and restaurants were a short walk away.

Pet friendly resort. Beautiful suite with coastal decor. Bed was too firm. Outdoor lighting had to be fixed. Smell through AC vents not able to be fixed. Property grounds beautiful and well-cared for. Would stay again once all renovations have been completed since tropical hurricane.

Tv doesn’t work due to poor/slow internet. Nice new furniture and bathroom . It’s poor functionality and planning for uno. Tv on side wall from bed, vanity is to big for bathroom size , nice pics on the wall of bathroom but n hooks for towels.looks nice on the picks , not comfortable for use :( wouldn’t recommend.

Loved how convenient the location was to the beach and the village! The unit was clean and nicely decorated. Had most of what we needed in the kitchen but would have loved a blender for those after-the-beach-frozen-drinks! The location of our unit was fantastic - it was away from most of the others, however, it was down a small walkway which was not lit at all and the light over the doorway was out which presented a safety issue. I did mention it to the front desk but the receptionist's response was "ok". I do agree with some of the others that have noted that the front desk staff was not overly friendly. Once you walk to the beach though, you tend to forget all the other stuff :)

We recently enjoyed our stay at Tropical Breeze. The room was smaller than we would have liked, but we know better what to book next time. It was our 25th Anniversary and I was hoping for a little extra magic, which would have been a nice touch, but it seemed to go unnoticed. I loved the pool area, steps to the village, and dining options nearby. The one bedroom king suite was tastefully decorated, however, I feel more needs to go into the bed itself. No fluffy topper on the mattress made the bed uncomfortable. I actually slept on the sofa. The beach nearby was gorgeous and I love the location of this resort. I’d definitely stay here again.

The only thing that held back the 5 stars, was the ability to adjust the air conditioner. We came here as honeymooners to celebrate our wedding, unfortunately the air conditioner was programmed to stay on 70, both me and hubby tend to get warm night and day, yet we were not able to turn down the temperature on ac unit. Seemed to us as not professional nor comfortable, not sure why the hotel did not allow us to adjust seeing that we pay a fair price per day. I sent a message to the hotel the 2nd morning with n never a response.

The property was in a great location and easy access to many venues including the Beach which was great. The biggest issue from an opportunity standpoint was the delay in the check in process. I arrived at 11:30am and asked about checking in and was told my room wasn't ready which was understandable. After spending a couple of hours in the area i checked again, still not ready with 3 associates hanging out in office area. Again was told the room wasn't ready. I saw no sense of urgency by the staff to get the room ready and finally got the room key at 4pm. Very poor customer service that day. The rest of the week was fine.

My only complaint is tgat we booked a two bedroom suite with sofa bed andcwhen we got there all tgey had for us the first night was a little 1 room with a bed. We had to book another room at a hotel for the rest of the party for the 1st night and they offered a 2 bed room for the second night. They said they would credit us for the mix up . I reached out again through here and the responded they would take care of it but still have not. Now they wont respond at all. Its a great location but they will screw ip your reservation and then screw you over. Steven Brode

The staff is so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and comfortable. Our suite was new and clean and had everything we needed from cooking pans, a hair dryer, beach towels, and even bikes to ride around town. The pool was clean and warm. The location is great because you are about a 100 yard walk to the beach one direction or to restaurants and shopping the other direction. It’s right in the middle of everything yet off the main road enough that we could get a quiet nights sleep.

Arrived at 5:30 PM and room was not ready. Once it was the floor was soaking wet and strong smell of bleach. Figured to would turn on the fans and windows and go to dinner, it might get better. It did not. Front desk was closed and now one to help us switch rooms. Ac did not work nor did the tv remote for sound. It was super load all night and morning due to restaurants next to hotel. We would like a refund. This was terrible. Went to the front deck in morning. No management and no one could help us.

I booked on 4/11/25 for 4/16 to 4/17 thought everything was good but the day before I'm supposed to check in 4/15 I get an email from expedia saying that my reservation has been canceled & if I did not do it to call the hotel so I called the hotel the 1st woman I spoke to said it was canceled because they were renovating & they have no more rooms. I told the woman that that was unacceptable. I asked to speak to her manager. I spoke with that manager & she said the same thing that they were renovating & that the room that I booked, they do not have & the manager I was speaking to said she was emailing the GM and telling her the situation the GM said that she would call me tomorrow which I said was unacceptable. 4/16 is when I'm supposed to be checking in. I need her to call me now ASAP so when she called she's like oh sorry about all the hassle. We went ahead and upgraded you to a king bed cottage at no extra charge I said great thank you & got there & checked in. They gave me a paper with a five digit code to get into my room which initially worked everything was Good. I leave and go to the party with my friends and when I got back to my room at 12:30-12:45 AM My code did not work tried multiple times and also called the # on the map they gave me multiple times left messages & no one answered or returned our calls. I found a window that was opened. I had to climb through a WINDOW! Totally unacceptable

Loved this property. It was a bit tricky to navigate in the dark night but very tranquil and right around the corner from all the fun of Siesta Village and steps to the white sandy beaches. I thought the little villa was adorable and updated although i needed more mirrors. There was only one mirror in the entire condo- so that was my only complaint!
