Torn regarding this hotel stay. Pros: walking distance to the beach, liked the mid century, Palm Springs aesthetic to the property, room was bigger than expected and had it's own side yard area which was nice, bed was comfortable, TV had lots of streaming options. Cons: could hear the neighbor's TV at night even though with a fan on, room temp couldn't be lower than 70 degrees (it's on the property rules sheet at checkin) which made the room surprisingly warm, we both woke up sweating, entrance to shower was very slippery, and the mirror in the bathroom was actually a medicine cabinet and there was stuff left from a previous guest which made us concerned about cleanliness. Also, at check in we asked about what our VIP perk was and were told there was none. I told them I had a notification from the Hotels.com app saying "ask about our VIP Access Perk" and the girl at the front desk said there wasn't one and didn't know why Hotels.com. said there was, so that was a bummer. Check out is pretty early, 10AM. Overall the hotel could be better, but worked for a night for a business trip.

Parking was expectable, room was very nice. Would recommend supplying a broom and dust pan as sand gets brought in no matter how careful you are.
