SOL by Meliá Lunamar Palmanova Apartamentos - Adults Only

We were more than happy with our choice of accommodation for our short break in Palmanova. We opted for mid price range and hoped for the best even after checking out the reviews. We were really impressed with how clean the place was, everywhere we went the hotel was spotless, no signs of wear and tear anywhere. Check in was easy and straightforward, I will say that it isn’t very well sign posted and the taxi driver didn’t spot the hotel straight away. We stayed on the 7th floor with the solarium area outside the rooms on the roof. (If you are on this floor just be aware both lifts stop 2” below the floor and leave a small step) Room very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, the fridge is a full sized fridge with freezer box at the top, fridge looked new. Room in excellent condition, decent sized shower, no scuffs or damage anywhere. (Pillows are extremely thin) Pool area clean and tidy, plenty of sunbeds (obviously still get the selfish idiots who reserve beds and then leave them unused for hours!) Facilities just outside the rear gate, bars, restaurants etc. with a 5 minute walk the the centre of both Magaluf or Palmanova. The beach is close by, 2 sunbeds, umbrella and safe €22.50 for the day. No late checkout available when we stayed as hotel full but towels and showers available plus luggage room. Overall an excellent choice, especially as also it’s adults only. Definitely would and will book again.
