The Jubilee Hotel West- with NEWLY REFURBISHED SPA FACILITIES - GAMESPIT - AND SMOKEHOUSE

The room was a good size, we had a family room for 5. The room was clean and tidy and good amenities in the room itself. The best aspect was the seaview which was fantastic helped by some good October weather. We didn't use the bar much as we were visiting relatives who live in Weymouth - but it looked good with plenty to do. The best thing about staying in the older hotels on the front is access to the beach/Weymouth centre, room size and view. Overall very happy with the hotel and the price. Would definitely stay again - thanks.

Even though the room was very warm I still had an amazing time. Previously when we have been to Weymouth for a short break we stay at the Premier Inn. This was definitely alot better, and the staff so much friendlier and I could open the window alot wider, so during the evening and night you could hear the waves crashing onto the shore. Just cross the road and you're on the beach. Its within walking distance to the shops. We stayed for 3 nights so ate there in the evening. I can recommend the rack of ribs, but all of the food was amazing, and reasonably priced. There's alot going on each evening, as well as during the day. Already thinking about booking for next year again.

Bed Bug INFESTATION - Deeply concerning We booked this hotel for my brother as a special break before he begins cancer treatment. Instead, shortly after returning home, he developed over 40 bites/marks across his body. His oncologist nurse advised that they appeared consistent with bedbug bites and his chemo woukd now be delayed! We immediately contacted the hotel. Their response was extremely concerning. They told us they had removed the room from sale, arranged an inspection and placed it through their pest-management treatment protocol as though pest activity were present. They also advised us to seek professional pest-control advice because of the possibility that my brother could have brought bedbugs home in his luggage or belongings. We asked the hotel for the results of their inspection and the pest-control report. Despite this request, they have failed to provide it or even respond. We have also found OTHER guest reviews reporting similar concerns about bedbug bites just weeks before! We have now referred the matter to Environmental Health for investigation. I am not claiming that bites alone prove where they came from, but the hotel's own actions speak volumes. Removing the room from sale and initiating pest-management treatment warrants proper answers. A deeply distressing experience, made considerably worse by the hotel's lack of transparency and follow-up.

Absolutely fantastic loved every bit the staff are so friendly and funny to chat with had a great time here The spa was amazing and the spa staff so skilled and also welcoming and great to chat with and laugh with Will definitely be booking again 😘

Not the best experience,one of the front of house male staff members was over familiar and not entirely helpful. Television did not work and the sound of the karaoke was too loud … not quiet between 10 -8 as promised. Very disappointed
