Amazing stay at the Secret Garden Relais. Room was lovely, with excellent aircon and all the amenities you’d need. Staff went above and beyond to help us and advised on public transport, where to eat, view the sunset etc. Breakfast was so fresh and loads of choice which you can have on the terrace which has wonderful views especially at sunset. The gardens are so well maintained and beautiful - just loved this place so much. Piano Di Sorrento is nearby with some restaurants and absolutely gorgeous place to watch the sunset. Sorrento only a couple stops on the train (station is a 5 min walk if that). Only issue was trains were unreliable on a night and stopped early. There is a bus you can get later but we just ended up walking back which only took us about 40 mins and was a really straight easy road (didn’t feel unsafe for two girls walking back alone). All in all I’d definitely return here. Loved it!

There was a fresh, homemade breakfast daily with a variety of hot and cold drinks. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We arrived very late and one of the staff came and rescued us from the Piano di Sorrento train station. It was a short, 5 minute walk to the hotel. The street is very narrow and a car cannot fit on the street to stop at the front door. Most of the staff spoke good English. There is a spiral staircase that goes up to the third floor which is the main hotel area. There is no elevator which would make it challenging for someone who has mobility issues. The hotel gardens were coming into bloom during our stay in April. There is a wonderful terrace area for relaxing with an ocean view. Unfortunately, for people wanting a swimming pool or hot tub or exercise area, there is none. This was not important to me. They serve dinner beginning in mid May. We found a few excellent places to eat dinner on our own, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We would have appreciated dinner at the hotel a few nights. Piano di Sorrento, where this hotel is located, is a 4 minute train ride into Sorrento proper. Overall, I would return and stay here.
