Lovely room with two bedrooms which gave us all enough space, including the huge private outdoor space. Breakfast buffet was great, only niggle was the fact there were too few umbrellas for the loungers by the pool, which was a shame as there were as no mad dash for loungers and enough to go around. Access to the sauna and steam room were a great bonus, plenty of places to eat out within a 10 minute walk from the hotel,

I liked the option of purchasing the dinner Buffett while I was there. After exploring all day it was nice to just go downstairs and enjoy the wide selection of food. I also enjoyed the bus stop right in front of the hotel that was easy to use. Everyone was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. One thing was the pool closing hrs were at 2100 which for my family is typically the time we have winded down and are ready for a swim. I will say there was one night the front desk clerk kept the pool open a little later so we could take our time enjoying the pool so that was definitely a plus!

This was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the ocean right from the window. When we arrived, the children were greeted with lovely welcome gifts, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The outdoor saltwater pool had a very comfortable temperature, and the nearby hot-water Jacuzzi was a perfect place to relax. There’s also a warm indoor pool inside the hotel, ideal for children and great for any weather. If I ever dreamed of coming back to Madeira, it would definitely be to this hotel. It offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere

Très bon séjour passé dans cet hôtel, nous ne regrettons absolument pas notre choix. Chambre très spacieuse et avec beaucoup de rangements. Vue mer très agréable. Les + : le dressing et le lit immenses. Les - : un lavabo dont l'évacuation est lente et une chasse d'eau capricieuse ; l'emplacement de notre chambre à côté de la porte coupe feu qui une fois fermée la nuit est très bruyante à chaque passage de nos voisins de chambre. Hôtel équipé : - d'une piscine extérieure chauffée et d'une piscine intérieure accessible même avec enfants sur des plages horaires données (ce qui est pratique en cas de météo capricieuse) - d'un bar avec des animations variées chaque soir : groupes musicaux, groupe folklorique madérien, magicien, marionnettiste, karakoé... plutôt sympa avec des enfants - d'un restaurant avec des repas à thème chaque soir, même si la variété est restreinte certains soirs. Pour notre part, une préférence pour le repas madérien, le banoffee et les oeufs aux caramel. Le choix au petit-déjeuner était également top. - de jeux : billard, ping-pong, babyfoot... - d'une boutique de souvenirs (pas testée) Hôtel équipé d'un parking mais le nombre de places est limité. En cas d'arrivée en fin d'après-midi, ne pas s'attendre à trouver une place. Néanmoins de nombreuses places de parking sont disponibles autour de l'hôtel, dont des places avec lignes bleues qui étaient gratuites au moment de notre séjour (avril).

Easy to get to from the airport. Room not ready until 3pm check in but were able to use facilities. Rooms good size and comfortable. Cleaning does not happen by default, you have to request it by filling in a piece of paper and returning it to reception. You can put the sign that says please clean my room outside your door, and the cleaners will just walk past anyway and ignore it. This is done for environmental reasons they say. If you phone reception they refuse to have your room cleaned that day and tell you to fill in the paperwork. The animation team had a good selection of things on but were very hard to get hold of, for example you needed to ask them to unlock the go carts… but they were busy face painting, so lots of activities could not be done even when advertised as only two people could help you. The mini golf is one hole and a net. The outdoor gym equipment was partially broken. The table football machine was chargeable and cost you for every goal. The library had nothing for children. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Allergens were mislabelled at least twice and moved about whilst food was already being served though. Lovely view from our balcony, and Madeira is a beautiful place.

Nice hotel in a great location. I wish I knew they are undergoing major renovation on the lower level. Usually out of sight but noisy! The food and drinks were of good quality, even if the pool bar prices are very high for self service at a 4* hotel. Very clean hotel, even if I found the pool toilets to be out of soap quite often. Friendly staff.

Excellent hotel stay I had in recent Years. Best location. Lovely sea view Rooms. Superb swimming pool spa facilities. Lovely staff at every point of your stay. Excellent Breakfast varieties, good affordable restaurant for lunch time. Great dinner buffet options. Great location and lot to explore by walking around the Hotel, if you are looking to stay away from Funchal main city centre this is the one. Hardly 10 min drive or €13 euro Bolt Taxi to the Funchal city, € 9 Bolt taxi to the airport. Lot of Madiera experience tour pick up options from the Hotel. Definitely I would recommend this for any family. Loads of Kids playing options. Who ever opts in this Hotel would not regret it. Thank you again The View Oasis Hotel staff for making our stay lovely memorable one. We would definitely would come back again…

It was a nice quite property with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has its own shuttle service that can take you to Funchal but also across the street is public bus that is more frequent. Close by is also a swimming area as well as snorkeling equipment rental that you could get to jump in the ocean. The property has nice clean pools, sauna, spa and hammam which we really enjoy.

I strongly recommend this hotel, the staff is very friendly, the food amazing, with amazing view. Also we have a bus from the hotel to drop and pick up us in Funchal for free, the salt water pool is also amazing. I and my family had enjoy so much this place, we love it.

I've found this place a bit average on the cleaning. It's a family place, the area is lovely with some extra dining options as the internal restaurant is very limited with a buffet only overcrowded. I'd suggest them to train the staff to become a bit more welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the evening entertainment and the highlight was the magician show for kids and aduts

Hotel com ótima localização, à beira mar. Equipe de atendimento muito solicita e educada. Café da manhã bem servido e variado. Nossa única queixa foi com relação à limpeza de nossos quartos, que deixou muito a desejar - tivemos que por mais de uma vez fazer reclamações à recepção. Por um momento, pensei que fosse alguma confusão com relação à possibilidade que o hotel dispõe de indicar quais dias o quarto deveria ser limpo, e os dias onde não há limpeza são convertidos em verba para consumo no bar da piscina. Mas, como não utilizamos essa possibilidade e deixamos bem claro desde o primeiro dia que queríamos a limpeza todos os dias, não entendemos o porquê de alguns dias sequer terem passado uma vassoura no quarto. Entretanto, tirando este contratempo com a limpeza nos quartos, gostamos bastante da hospedagem e recomendamos. Em uma futura hospedagem, e a depender do preço, seria com certeza uma opção que consideraríamos.

Flott beliggenhet, rene og romlige rom. Vann på flaske på rommet hver dag .Hyggelig personal. Godt med parkering i området rundt hotellet som var bra da mange har leiebil. Fikk en flott oppmerksomhet på min bursdag som jeg satte stor pris på.

Stayed here for an early flight lovely clean hotel unfortunately was quite noisy so would reccomend asking for a room away from the disco if you want to get a good nights sleep also the air conditioning didn't work so was pretty hot in the room some instructions would be welcome on how to set to cold. The conceirge did not have ear plugs available either. Would highly reccomend though despite the issues.

Schönes Hotel, für 4 Personen war die Suite super. Mit zwei Balkonen, Kitchenette, Sofa und kleinem Esstisch. Die Pools waren nie zu voll, Liegen waren immer genügend frei, da viele Gäste unterwegs sind. Très bon séjour passé dans cet hôtel, nous ne regrettons absolument pas notre choix. Chambre très spacieuse et avec beaucoup de rangements. Vue mer très agréable. Les + : le dressing et le lit immenses. Les - : un lavabo dont l'évacuation est lente et une chasse d'eau capricieuse ; l'emplacement de notre chambre à côté de la porte coupe feu qui une fois fermée la nuit est très bruyante à chaque passage de nos voisins de chambre. Hôtel équipé : - d'une piscine extérieure chauffée et d'une piscine intérieure accessible même avec enfants sur des plages horaires données (ce qui est pratique en cas de météo capricieuse) - d'un bar avec des animations variées chaque soir : groupes musicaux, groupe folklorique madérien, magicien, marionnettiste, karakoé... plutôt sympa avec des enfants - d'un restaurant avec des repas à thème chaque soir, même si la variété est restreinte certains soirs. Pour notre part, une préférence pour le repas madérien, le banoffee et les oeufs aux caramel. Le choix au petit-déjeuner était également top. - de jeux : billard, ping-pong, babyfoot... - d'une boutique de souvenirs (pas testée) Hôtel équipé d'un parking mais le nombre de places est limité. En cas d'arrivée en fin d'après-midi, ne pas s'attendre à trouver une place. Néanmoins de nombreuses places de parking sont disponibles autour de l'hôtel, dont des places avec lignes bleues qui étaient gratuites au moment de notre séjour (avril).

Flot udsigt. Generelt et godt hotel. Lidt under middel restaurant, vi spiste kun én gang aftensmad hvilket ikke var godt. men okay morgenmad. Gode senge til voksne men knap så gode til børn, slå-ud-sengen knirkede. Bedste mørklægningsgardiner vi har oplevet. Noget lyt med støj fra andre gæster på værelset og på gangen, især stolene på værelserne. Vi havde værelse mest øst ud til vandet og larmen fra udsugningen fra køkkenet kunne nogle gange være slemt. Men man kunne tilgængelig ikke hører musik eller larm fra kælderen på 3 sal hvilket var perfekt. Der var arrangementer for børn og voksne og live musik om aftenen. The property was in a very convenient location to get to restaurants in the town, and to attractions in the area. Breakfast buffet was great. The weather wasn’t very cooperative, so we did not have a chance to enjoy the pool. Air conditioning didn’t work well.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön an der Promenade in Caniço de Baixo, eine bewachte Badebucht ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, wenn auch das Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Sowohl das Frühstücks- als auch das Abendessenbuffett waren qualitativ in Ordnung und es gab eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Jeder Abend der Woche steht unter einem anderen Motto, z.B. Portugal, Madeira, Italien,... Der Poolbereich außen ist großzügig und es herrschte nie Mangel an Sonnenliegen. Die Sonnenschirme waren ebenfalls ausreichend, allerdings wären eine paar Sonnenüberdachungen schön, die auch bei Wind genutzt werden dürfen. Sehr lobend ist zu erwähnen, dass ein Teil des Energiebedarfs über eine Solaranlage auf dem Dach gedeckt wird und das Hotel insgesamt in puncto Nachhaltigkeit/ Schonung von Ressourcen konkurrierende Anbieter in den Schatten stellt. Das abendliche Unterhaltungsprogramm war abwechslungsreich und aich für Kinder gabe es viele Angebote.

I liked the option of purchasing the dinner Buffett while I was there. After exploring all day it was nice to just go downstairs and enjoy the wide selection of food. I also enjoyed the bus stop right in front of the hotel that was easy to use. Everyone was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. One thing was the pool closing hrs were at 2100 which for my family is typically the time we have winded down and are ready for a swim. I will say there was one night the front desk clerk kept the pool open a little later so we could take our time enjoying the pool so that was definitely a plus!

Easy to get to from the airport. Room not ready until 3pm check in but were able to use facilities. Rooms good size and comfortable. Cleaning does not happen by default, you have to request it by filling in a piece of paper and returning it to reception. You can put the sign that says please clean my room outside your door, and the cleaners will just walk past anyway and ignore it. This is done for environmental reasons they say. If you phone reception they refuse to have your room cleaned that day and tell you to fill in the paperwork. The animation team had a good selection of things on but were very hard to get hold of, for example you needed to ask them to unlock the go carts… but they were busy face painting, so lots of activities could not be done even when advertised as only two people could help you. The mini golf is one hole and a net. The outdoor gym equipment was partially broken. The table football machine was chargeable and cost you for every goal. The library had nothing for children. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Allergens were mislabelled at least twice and moved about whilst food was already being served though. Lovely view from our balcony, and Madeira is a beautiful place.

Excellent hotel stay I had in recent Years. Best location. Lovely sea view Rooms. Superb swimming pool spa facilities. Lovely staff at every point of your stay. Excellent Breakfast varieties, good affordable restaurant for lunch time. Great dinner buffet options. Great location and lot to explore by walking around the Hotel, if you are looking to stay away from Funchal main city centre this is the one. Hardly 10 min drive or €13 euro Bolt Taxi to the Funchal city, € 9 Bolt taxi to the airport. Lot of Madiera experience tour pick up options from the Hotel. Definitely I would recommend this for any family. Loads of Kids playing options. Who ever opts in this Hotel would not regret it. We are giving one star as the hotel staff double charged us for our stay and it’s been a month and we haven’t received the refund. They keep on diverting to the accounts department but no further action on it. Truly disappointed with the service.

leuk, familiaal hotel met lekker eten en vriendelijk personeel. Bij aankomst kregen we de splinternieuwe hotelkamer aangeboden ondanks we de 'oudere' hadden geboekt. zeer aangename verassing. zeer tevreden!

Beautiful property with ocean viewing rooms (partial and full), lovely promenade, clean, decent breakfast buffet, and very comfortable and spacious deluxe suites. Not too far from Funchal, if one is looking for night life, restaurants, and tours. Parking on premises is limited but free, there are paid parking options just outside the premises. I would stay here again.

Flott beliggenhet, rene og romlige rom. Vann på flaske på rommet hver dag .Hyggelig personal. Godt med parkering i området rundt hotellet som var bra da mange har leiebil. Fikk en flott oppmerksomhet på min bursdag som jeg satte stor pris på.

I've found this place a bit average on the cleaning. It's a family place, the area is lovely with some extra dining options as the internal restaurant is very limited with a buffet only overcrowded. I'd suggest them to train the staff to become a bit more welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the evening entertainment and the highlight was the magician show for kids and aduts

Easy to get to from the airport. Room not ready until 3pm check in but were able to use facilities. Rooms good size and comfortable. Cleaning does not happen by default, you have to request it by filling in a piece of paper and returning it to reception. You can put the sign that says please clean my room outside your door, and the cleaners will just walk past anyway and ignore it. This is done for environmental reasons they say. If you phone reception they refuse to have your room cleaned that day and tell you to fill in the paperwork. The animation team had a good selection of things on but were very hard to get hold of, for example you needed to ask them to unlock the go carts… but they were busy face painting, so lots of activities could not be done even when advertised as only two people could help you. The mini golf is one hole and a net. The outdoor gym equipment was partially broken. The table football machine was chargeable and cost you for every goal. The library had nothing for children. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Allergens were mislabelled at least twice and moved about whilst food was already being served though. Lovely view from our balcony, and Madeira is a beautiful place.

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist sehr schön. Der kostenlose Bustransfer nach Funchal ist sehr kundenfreundlich. Die Poolbar ist für ein Essen zwischendurch sehr zu empfehlen. Leider ist das Abendessen mit Preisen zwischen 31,- und 39,50 €/Person (keine Kinderermäßigung!!!) ohne Getränke nicht familienfreundlich. Wir haben uns in der kleinen Küche auf dem Zimmer selbst versorgt. Das Frühstück war i.O.

Nice hotel with good pool area and breakfast. Pool bar had nice food for lunch. Dinner overpriced compared to eating off site also entertainment wasn’t great. But staff on site really helpful and pleasant

Hotel was neat, modern, and everything you’d expect from a family friendly pool resort. Rooms were big. Beds were fine. Buffets were decent. The pool was very nice. Good size and I loved how they used salt water instead of chlorine water. The internet/wifi was terrible. Slow, didn’t reach everywhere, and sometimes just didn’t want to connect. We are in 2026 so it should be better. Also, the TV channels hacked a lot. At night before u go to bed it’s nice to watch a little TV before shutting the eye. But the channels kept hacking. So we ended up using our phones and the bad internet connection. That sucked. Otherwise, a typical 3-4 star experience.

Hotel exceeded our expectations for a family holiday. The Views is so well set up for kids, our sons loved the playroom, outside playground and the variety of activities put on for kids every day. The family suite was clean and modern and had everything we needed (even hair straighteners!). Staff were all friendly and helpful, and could assist in multiple languages.
