My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Yorkshire Camp! The property is located in a beautiful private wooded landscape. We loved that it was was located so close to both Saugerties and Woodstock which both contained plenty of shops and restaurants to visit during our stay. The home itself is wonderfully decorated and very comfortable! Matthew communicated with us through out our stay and check-in was a breeze. We enjoyed spending our evenings around the firepit and gazing at the stars. We highly recommend Yorkshire Camp to anyone looking for a relaxing woodsy getaway to disconnect and recharge!

This property is every bit and even more charming and beautiful than the photographs show. The long driveway past a wildflower meadow and gorgeous woods (think pine smell but the real kind!) starts the vacation chill which is only enhanced by the light-bathed open floor plan of the main floor. The kitchen is a joy to cook in, as is the outdoor grill. Matthew, the host, was solicitous, and very responsive. He genuinely cares that his guests have an optimum stay which we did. For birders such as myself, the property is a treasure trove of our avian friends (pileated woodpecker, scarlet tanger. etc). I can't recommend Camp Yorkshire enough. This was our second time at the property and fingers crossed not our last.

We had a terrific stay at Camp Yorkshire over New Year's! Although the weather was too warm for our original plan to ski, we found plenty to do both in and out of the home. Saugerties and Kingston both have charming downtowns with many options for dining and shopping. At the house, we took a walk in the woods, watched movies on many different streaming platforms, and had analog fun with board games. The two living room sofas were super comfy and were properly equipped with multiple soft blankets for the many hours we spent on them! We are hoping to stay here again when it's snowy enough to ski!

Lovely property, inside and out. Views of the forest that surround the home could be seen from every window and were especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. One day we were entertained by two adolescent deer and their mother. The kitchen is well supplied. If we are in the area again, we would love to stay at this property.

Matthew, the property owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and answered all my questions prior to checking in.. and texted me to make sure everything went okay on the day of check-in. The place was very clean and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The 30+ acre was quite impressive and beautiful. We very much enjoyed our morning coffee out on the balcony enjoying the view and very fresh quality air!!! We'll be back for more!

My spouse and I had been in NYC to help our 20 year old daughter/student move back home for the summer. Big cities are not my thing but my wife and daughter love them. So, after a week in NYC we spent the weekend at Camp Yorkshire. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The house was beautiful and clean. The land was exquisite. I spent time walking, meditating, and just breathing in nature. What a wonderful place to spend some time. I highly recommend this property to anyone that needs a break from whatever craziness is in your life. Well done, guys.

So, after a week in NYC we spent the weekend at Camp Yorkshire. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The house was beautiful and clean. The land was exquisite. I spent time walking, meditating, and just breathing in nature. What a wonderful place to spend some time. I highly recommend this property to anyone that needs a break from whatever craziness is in your life. Well done, guys.

The property is large and there’s plenty of space to relax and take in nature. Do not be surprised if you see a family of deer with your morning coffee. But the real draw is the hosts. Matthew is incredibly communicative and made the entire stay stress-free. The hosts take great care of their home and their guests and I will absolutely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Camp Yorkshire and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s a Beautiful quiet property on a dead end road. We wanted a camping lite experience and set up tents on property, but slept in the house. It was so fun for our kids and adults too! Plenty of space for 2 families of 3.

We had a wonderful time at Camp Yorkshire. Our host, Matthew, was readily available for any questions and checked in periodically to make sure everything was going well. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed or wanted. The nature in the property itself was stunning and the setting was very tranquil and relaxing. I’m hoping Camp Yorkshire will be available the next time we’re visiting the area.

We had a lovely stay over a long weekend. The place was easy to find and lived up to all the great reviews. It was the perfect place to just getaway. The property was centrally located to several Hudson valley towns which made day trips easy. Matthew checked in at the start and end of our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. Would definitely recommend a stay here, honestly we could have stayed longer!

Whether you are in the area for a horse show or just to enjoy the region, this nice house in the woods is a lovely place to hole up. The owners are great - attentive and responsive - and everything was as expected. This was our second start in this home and we look forward to our third!

The house was well located for our trip to the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool festival. Although very secluded everything we wanted to see was just a short drive away. Matthew responded quickly to the few questions we had. We would definitely return to this beautiful area.

Great property that feels very secluded, but in reality is a 10-15 minute drive to whatever you might need. Exceptionally clean & well stocked. Probably the best VRBO experience I’ve had using this app.

Loved this beautiful blue house with its gorgeous living room! It feels like a stylish and REAL home—the dinner table was such a nice place to share meals. Loved the big comfy couches too and the kitchen was well appointed.
