The staff were very welcoming and so helpful. Our room was spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The rooms were large with up to date decor. It was very quiet. There was plenty of complimentary parking. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

It was average. It was advertised as having a heated pool, but when we asked, it was solar powered and being cleaned, so we weren’t able to use it. There was no wifi in the room. There was a note in the room to say what network to connect to, we called reception to ask, the receptionist sighed and said it’s not working. No apology, and poor delivery. We arrived early, my husband asked could we check in (3pm feels late for a check in), the same receptionist wasn’t too keen to help. I called beforehand to ask if the kitchenette in the room had pots and pans, the reception said “probably not”. There were pots and pans in the room, which would have changed our plans slightly as we have a toddler. I’ve worked in hotels and it seemed they just had poor reception staff. When we checked out, we spoke to a lovely woman - so maybe it was just bad luck Not worth the money

Staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. From the moment I checked in until I checked out, all staff I encountered were happy and obliging. The rooms are very clean and comfortable but I would have liked a bit more lighting as I found the room a bit dark. Apart from that, couldn't fault the property. Will definitely stay again in the future, thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The only reason I rated average overall instead of good was because I was disappointed with the television - it was not a smart tv connected to the internet meaning I could not use any streaming services. My wife and I were looking forward to streaming a movie and instead were reliant on free to air television with not so great reception. I was a bit surprised that this establishment was a bit behind the times in this regard.

Don't be put off by the name (a "lodge" has a certain meaning to me) - if you're looking for an excellent hotel near Norwest, The Hills Lodge is it. The rates were better than competitive, and the room was spacious and well fitted out. I had a small balcony overlooking a pool, and I always enjoy having an open area when staying away from home, so this was a big plus for me. The only issue I had was the connections for the TV were not accessible, preventing plugging in a laptop to watch my own shows rather than learn (yet another) hotel's unique TV viewing system. Small detail for most, annoyance to a few regular travellers who have a well developed routine. The Coffee Club is open very early, just across the main road. Also necessary for some of us! I would absolutely stay again. Next time I need to do business at Norwest, I won't need to choose - I'll go straight to The Hills Lodge.

This hotel is amazing and so are the staff. Awesome cystomer service and the reception staff are always happy to help. The surroundings and rooms are beautiful and always clean. Downside was waiting 25 minutes in the restaurant to order a coffee and when i asked the waitress she said she wouldnt be long and then after 25 minutes said she thought someone would have seeved me. Overall i love this hotel and have stayed a few times

I stayed at the Hills Lodge partly for a work function at Norwest Business Park. The hotel is quaint and the room was okay, very clean but well and truly outdated. The service was absolutely disappointing. Ordered room service for a late breakfast and after an hour, I called to see where it was and was told it was missed because they were so busy. I decided to walk up and then eat at the restaurant, which was almost entirely empty and I wasn’t allowed to sit down at a table at the restaurant as I wasn’t having high tea and had to eat by the bar with only lounge chairs, even though there were at least 10 empty tables! I declined and found myself a restaurant down the road. Staff were always polite, just terribly unhelpful.

A short, hurried overnight stay. I loved that it was low rise. Accommodation was very spacious and comfortable, we wish we had more time to enjoy it. The bed linen was good quality. It was the best night sleep I have had in a while. Darlene rates a special mention for her friendly manner and assistance. Breakfast staff spent much time talking to each other at the expense of guests who were on a tight schedule. They had to be approached so we could be seated. Located a little bit away from public transport and taxis do not always respond to short journey requests.
