Stayed here for 3 nights for husband's 50th birthday with our 8 year old son. Location is stunning and even though it was February, we found plenty of things to see and do. Hotel was very clean, staff were generally friendly except some bar staff ignored us when they were busy. Rooms and beds very clean and comfy. Had to ask for slippers, IMO these should be in the room already. Pool was cold first day but they had it perfect the 2nd day. Breakfast was lovely, only on last day poached eggs were overdone, sent them back, perfect upon return. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant on our last night, nothing was too mich trouble, food and wine was exceptional. Jacuzzi was out of order for 1 of the days, shame. Spa - only 6 loungers, and only 4 hooks?! so you have to leave your dry towels and dressing gowns on the floor, which is wet from the pool. Such a simple thing to resolve - put hooks on the walls all the way around the pool please! Hubby had a bad back and the lovely Scottish receptionist offered her own paracetomol as a personal favour, as she was coming off her shift, which was v kind and helpful. All the Scottish staff were lovely, just some of the foreign bar staff a bit less so. Would recommend this hotel just a shame there are a couple of niggles re the spa/slippers.

Very nice hotel and very nice staff. Pool was great. Steam room may have had some moldy corners - looked like it, but it was dark in there and hard to see. Dinner was very nice with very attentive staff. Breakfast was great also. Rooms were decent size - not large. Lots of fireplaces but none of them were on! I was really looking forward to an evening in front of the fire... EV charging stations at the hotel were not working at all.

Lovely hotel with easy parking, great food (try the tart for dessert!), beautiful views in the lounge and restuaraunt, and a delightful pool and spa area. Note that you do need reservations for the outdoor hot tub (we were late arrivals and early departure, and did not check on the process for that). Would happily return and hopefully spend more than one night next time.

Booked Loch Fyne Hotel for 2 nights. We had a wonderful welcome from Scott taking time to answer questions and book dinner for us. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. We had breakfast and dinner which was delicious. We used the pool and spa which was wonderful especially the outdoor shore spa. I feel that made the whole weekend was the whole team staff. They were so welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay and will return.

Great get away with nice rooms, value for money. Spa was small for 4 people each time, heat was low in dry heat sauna, steam was too low, heated beds and shower not working so check if all working before booking.

Our second time at this hotel as was just as fantastic as before. Super comfortable rooms, a great spa area and excellent dining/breakfast options. My go to when in that area! Prices have got a bit more expensive since last time, but I do feel you still get good value.

Staff were welcoming, professional & helpful. Spa and bar lovely. All made for a very relaxing stay. Room comfortable if a little warm. Evening meal was good although perplexed that steak served with either potato or vegetables unless you took one as a side dish. Breakfast very enjoyable had full Scottish one day then haddock the next. Will definitely go back.

We loved our stay. The staff are fantastic. Very dog friendly. The spa is nic and clean and not crowded. We had a deluxe double room and it was a good size for the two of us and our two dogs. Lovely location too just a short walk into the town.

We enjoyed our stay at Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa. Breakfast was excellent every morning and you were able to help yourself to cold items at the buffet and order a hot breakfast. Room was okay, bed was comfy! Was quite stuffy in the room even when it was below 20 degrees and appreciated the fan in the room. I don’t think the room was exceptionally clean but was fine. I wasn’t happy on our third day to come back after 5 hours to find our room hadn’t been cleaned (from 10am to 3.30pm) even though we had put sign up to be cleaned and the cleaners were in the room opposite at 10am. Our room therefore was not cleaned our entire stay. Also we stayed on the 2nd floor and a lot of the time a room beside the elevator the door to which was left open most of the time despite being a fire door and had no flooring where all the clean robes were kept on the floor.. and looked dirty. This is not something guests should see or expect. The pool and spa were great.

A truly lovely experience. It's nice that a hotel chain takes staffing numbers and training so seriously. The staff were excellent, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. The food was also top notch and my fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had. Everything was very clean. The only slight annoyance was dogs in the restaurant. As I am allergic, I don't think that policy is particularly fair.

The spa is amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property was very nice. Clean. Would love a fridge or a fan at least. Bathroom was nice. Updated. Great coffee and tea with biscuit offering. Wonderful location. Food for dinner & breakfast was top notch

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful views and super clean and comfortable rooms/bathrooms. The pool/sauna areas were perfect to relax after a day of exploring the outside. 10 min walk into Inveraray centre to visit other restaurants pubs. The staff was superb, especially our housekeeper Josie who made us feel right at home and all the breakfast staff who catered for our requirements perfectly. My only complaints were the fact that you had to book a breakfast time (if you arrive late you'll have to book a late slot) and that the rooms were incredibly warm. We remedied this by opening a window, but our room backed onto a generator/engine of some sorts, so there was a fairly noisy hum all night. Luckily I brought earplugs so that helped.

We had a one night stay at the hotel on the way home from Mull of Kintyre. Location is beautiful. Hotel is in a prime spot. Room was comfortable and clean however view from room could have been better by masking the bin area. Spa area lovely and inviting. Restaurant area was spacious. Bar table service would be welcomed.

The location is great with lots to see and do in the area - The room could do with the window being replaced or at the very least being cleaned, the mattress was very lumpy and uncomfortable - Lounge area was comfortable with lovely views - food was just Ok but barman/ server ‘Ross’ was absolutely wonderful!

Interesting collection of furniture and decor that looks very tired and worn. Comfortable for the most part and our bed was very comfortable after a climb up to our room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating although assistance with luggage was lacking. Menu was limited and repetitive of other establishments in n the region. Whisky selection was okay but not extensive.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful views and super clean and comfortable rooms/bathrooms. The pool/sauna areas were perfect to relax after a day of exploring the outside. 10 min walk into Inveraray centre to visit other restaurants pubs. The staff was superb, especially our housekeeper Josie who made us feel right at home and all the breakfast staff who catered for our requirements perfectly. My only complaints were the fact that you had to book a breakfast time (if you arrive late you'll have to book a late slot) and that the rooms were incredibly warm. We remedied this by opening a window, but our room backed onto a generator/engine of some sorts, so there was a fairly noisy hum all night. Luckily I brought earplugs so that helped.

The first room we stayed in had a bad smell.Dogs are allowed.We were given a new room once we complained.2nd room was great. Both rooms had nice bathrooms &beds.Front desk great.Restaurant dogs allowed.Be careful you aren’t given the room in the attic which is what happened with my sister.

Very relaxing stay. Main reason for booking was for pool and spar which were spotless. Comfortable room, food was lovely. Only 1 negative we had to ask 3 times for our bottle of wine we ordered with our meal. Only a short walk into town, beautiful scenery. I will definitely stay there again

Booked Loch Fyne Hotel for 2 nights. We had a wonderful welcome from Scott taking time to answer questions and book dinner for us. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. We had breakfast and dinner which was delicious. We used the pool and spa which was wonderful especially the outdoor shore spa. I feel that made the whole weekend was the whole team staff. They were so welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay and will return.

We loved our stay. The staff are fantastic. Very dog friendly. The spa is nic and clean and not crowded. We had a deluxe double room and it was a good size for the two of us and our two dogs. Lovely location too just a short walk into the town.

The hotel is in a beautiful situation, with far reaching views across the loch. The staff were all very friendly, the room was beautiful and, they are extremely dog friendly. I will definitely be returning to stay here again in the near future.

The staff were very attentive and happy to help us with anything. Food was excellent, and the location was convenient and not far from the small town and castle. Our dog was made to feel welcome, and for once we felt part of the restaurant area, and were not sat away from the other residents because we had a dog.

We had a one night stay at the hotel on the way home from Mull of Kintyre. Location is beautiful. Hotel is in a prime spot. Room was comfortable and clean however view from room could have been better by masking the bin area. Spa area lovely and inviting. Restaurant area was spacious. Bar table service would be welcomed.

Interesting collection of furniture and decor that looks very tired and worn. Comfortable for the most part and our bed was very comfortable after a climb up to our room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating although assistance with luggage was lacking. Menu was limited and repetitive of other establishments in n the region. Nice two night stay. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant the first night and breakfast both mornings. Only negatives I would say the food and drink is quite expensive and they also add a service charge of 10% to everything which I don’t really agree with. Leave it up to the customer what they wish to tip.

Staff were very friendly. Restaurant and bar are great; all the food was delicious and the view of the Loch is excellent. I didn’t book a massage but the rest of the spa was very relaxing. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub looking at the water is a perfect setting.

Our second time at this hotel as was just as fantastic as before. Super comfortable rooms, a great spa area and excellent dining/breakfast options. My go to when in that area! Prices have got a bit more expensive since last time, but I do feel you still get good value.

For me this was a prefect location to get around the island and particularly so if you're a malt whisky fan. Reception and restaurant/ bar staff can't do enough to help and will point you in the right direction as regards transport requirements. It's my 2nd time on Islay and I will return again, I'm sure. The restaurant prices on Islay are fairly pricey but a lot has to be imported into the island so it's to be expected.
