Last minute booking as other hotel had power cut. Staff were amazing. Truly dog-friendly. Complimentary prosecco in rooms. Spa was lovely. Evening meal and breakfast both delicious. Thank you for salvaging our weekend!

Wonderful weekend away for some rest and relaxation. The bar was lovely with great cocktails and food options. Staff were super friendly. Lots of great local bars and restaurants nearby. The spa was great and getting to use the bikes free of charge was a great little add on.

It is a really beautiful hotel with lovely bar/restaurant and great spa facilities and treatments. The rooms are the main let down - they are small and mostly in an extension off the back of the main building. Our two rooms overlooked a car park. One of the rooms had a very distinctive smell of smoke, only had one bath robe rather than two, and had a blocked sink which prevented it draining at all. I reported all of this to reception who brushed it off and didn’t take any action or offer any remediation. I would have expected a slight reduction in our bill, at the very least. A real shame for what was otherwise really lovely stay.

One thing i do not like to see in a bathroom is grout and silicone being black.. The daily fee for my dog to stay was far too expensive. But besides this everything else you could not fault, it was great to get a upgrade at no extra cost, would definitely go back

2 day short break stay,not the cheapest but you get exactly what you pay for, lovely clean classic room overlooking the sea and golf course .Staff,quality of service and food were excellent could not be faulted . Used the pool and spa facilities very clean the staff were excellent . A very enjoyable and relaxing stay would certainly stay again .

Marine Troon was a great place to stay.. Rooms were clean and well presented.. The staff were all very polite and helpful and a pleasure to deal with.. The building is a great place to be and breakfast was a delight. I would recommend Troon Marine to anyone..

The room could have been cleaner. There were stains on the wall/carpet/bin. Glasses requested were not cleaned properly. No aircon in the rooms with the lower level rooms having views of bushes with staff walking by the window. The breakfast was very poor. Over cooked and inedible despite arriving early on in the service. Many other guests also felt the same leaving full plates of food. Clearly understaffed for instance offers of fresh eggs which never came. Overall very underwhelmed by our stay in the hotel which was an Anniversary gift so left feeling disappointed.

Enjoyed overall, beautiful hotel, staff were very professional and friendly. Great dog friendly option being able to eat meals in bar was no hardship as it’s a lovely area. Classic Seaview room with kingsize bed including cost of bringing dog was pricey given it is very tight for space. Bed was however very comfortable. Bathroom was my main issue. It is ridiculously tight and the height to step into shower over bath is quite perilous. Sadly would not stay again due to this.

Waiting staff in the restaurant were excellent and very chatty. Reception staff were very attentive. Spa facilities were excellent and what a great pool. Room was above the kitchen and a bit noisy when everything started up in the morning for breakfast at 0530. Shower in room was a bit weak plus getting hot water as dial had to turned around to the maximum point and even then the hot water could have been hotter. Did not see any EV charging points lucky were came in our ICE car.

We stayed at the Marine Troon for three nights whilst touring the area. It is a beautiful hotel right on the coast with stunning views over the Isle of Arran. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The service in the restaurants was patchy however. One evening, we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive and one drink never arrived. The following night, we had to wave down the wait staff to ask for a menu after sitting at a table for 20 minutes. It was not overly busy at these times so it suggests the staff need additional training. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again when in the area.

Nice hotel but a bit expensive for the standard. Service at breakfast was poor. To show balance breakfast was busy but put at a table not cleaned or set. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins and tea and coffee did t arrive untill breakfast was almost finished. The quality of the breakfast was very good, but attention to service was lacking.

Lovely property right on the water. We stayed here for its proximity to several historic sites but it's a mecca for golfers from all over the world. Just happy we were not there for the British Open madness! Staff were lovely and the restaurant was top notch.

Stayed for two nights in July. Hotel was very comfortable, excellent bar/lounge area and leisure facilities. Walkable into Troon or taxis very quick and reliable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!

Stylish & comfortable. had dinner in The Rabbit, limited vegan options so server asked chef if he could make something else as they were quiet. A delicious linguine arrived. He didn't need to do that but it was greatly appreciated.

Great food and phenomenal cocktails! A decent gym and a pool area. Restaurant staff were great but the bar staff need brushing up on their attentiveness. Once they’re there, they’re really good. The room was average at best but the rest of the hotel compensated for this. All in, od stay there again.

Fantastic hotel, gorgeous room. For a hotel that is striving for 5 star up market, the food, particularly the cooked breakfast was poor. 3663/brake brothers at best. Frozen and reheated.

Nice room with a very comfortable bed and a very good breakfast. Restaurant service was also very good. Only disappointment was dinner in the Rabbit restaurant, not worth the money. Beautiful ingredients, well presented but didn't taste amazing for the price. Have the chefs ever tasted the Hake in a Chicken broth, a waste of hake? Would eat the bar food next time.
