The stay wasn’t awful, but what hotel doesn’t have coffee?!?! The very first picture on the Expedia website for this hotel is a coffee station. There was no coffee on the premises at all. I asked. Sincerely, You very disappointed, coffee-addicted guest.

This is my first time staying at a Red Roof Hotel and the staff at the front desk was professional and friendly however the property surprised when I realized there was no elevator, I am not sure if this is all of red roof inn. When I got to the room, the bathroom appeared to be dirty like you can see urine stains on the toilet bowl, soap dispensers did not work. There were a lot of noise at night and also early in the morning housekeeping staff were so loud that it woke me up whatever little sleep. I tried to get some rest as much as I could to get a heads up for a long drive.

Very poorly done renovations, poorly cleaned, and lots of shady people in and out of the hotel at late hours. Groups gathered in the parking lot which made me uncomfortable taking my children in and out. No amenities. WiFi was in and out our whole stay. Extremely flat pillows and when asked for extras were lectured about not allowing extra guests in the rooms. Didn’t have enough towels in the room. It was very loud at all hours of the day and night which seemed ridiculous considering I didn’t see a single child my entire 3 night stay. I didn’t expect a 5 star hotel at the price, but I’ll never stay in the area again after feeling unsafe during this stay. 3 cop cars and an ambulance were present at the hotel as we were leaving for dinner one night. Again I have stayed at some “cheap” hotels in my life but this place needs shut down or completely new management. They also took an additional security deposit which I felt they should have paid me a security deposit just to stay there! We’re not from the area and traveled 9 hours to visit a sick family member in a local hospital. It was a real let down to spend downtime in such a overall nasty hotel room, especially with my children. If it weren’t an emergency situation where we made the trip last second in a rush and in a pinch (we’re low on money because we’re planning a wedding) I would have walked right back out. Totally appalled.

Pictures are very deceiving. Hotel was very run down. Ice machine didn't work(the only 1 onsite). No phone, no coffee pot, no shampoo in room. Overall not a hotel i would recommend to anyone.

Smoke detector beeping they couldn’t be bothered to change the battery in. Doors started slamming around 5am. Water stain & bubble on ceiling from room above. Was nervous more water would come in. Tv remote didn’t have battery cover on it showing how little they care. Sheets smelled of BO like they hadn’t been washed. Water tasted nasty. Front desk called and interrupted me to move my car after I parked saying I parked in a “bike parking” spot. Went to move my car and saw zero signage saying this and spot was same size as all the others. Meanwhile they didn’t care about the car parked two spots over all night that was completely straddling the line taking up two spots. Lots of police activity in the area.

The entire first floor of this building is sub ground level and the rooms smell of mold and mildew. The front desk staff acknowledged that they are aware of this ongoing issue. It is also documented in Google reviews and they do admit that they understand people with allergies will not be comfortable living in this space. Furthermore, after unnecessarily checking another room because I do not have any need to put my health in Jeopardy, the second room was found to be in multiple states of disrepair rusted door frames stains on the walls from rust drippings from the ceiling fan in the bathroom, dirty linens on the beds, dirty furniture with stains on the chairs. Upon viewing both rooms within the 30 minute timespan I brought both of these issues to the front desk and was told that there was a strict no refund policy. This place is a scam! If you're in the middle of an active drug addiction and you're spiraling out of control, this is the hotel for you.

I dont usually like to give reviews because its too much of a hassle. However this place is a special situation. I was harrassed about paying for my pet after paying for a week stay. I had my pet there for 4 days one is a service animal. I mentioned to the person in charge and when i checked out he kept my deposit and told me i had 2 pets and one os free the other is being charged for. We had a whole debate on explaoning about the service animal not being a pet and had the documentation to show him but he didnt care to see it and proceeded to charge me for 2 pets. He refused to give me his name and i informed him that we will sue the compnay. He said thats fine. The place is loud. Theres so many people coming in and out. You can hear everyones conversations. Theres a man selling drugs outside which is super obvious. The blankets had stains and the pillows have been runed down. Im seriously not exaggerating. As soon as our stay was over we checked out as fast as we could and then had the dispute with the person in charge. The housekeeper would always look in our room to be nosey and i would have to close our door. They also went in my room when i wasnt there and knew what was in my room in the first place. An employee also warned us about the other workers steal so to be careful, so ever since then we kept all our valuables with us. Im not saying all this to say dont stay there, do as you wish i just needed to let others know what kind of experience we went through.

Property is disgusting. Paid for a "premium" room and got a room literally in a basement. Lights did not work when I walked in. Used cell phone light to see where I was going, immediately found smashed food and bugs on the floor. Dogs constantly barking in adjacent units. Chunk of wood wedged in sliding window as a makeshift lock. Complained immediately to clerk, she said these issues "weren't their fault" and refused to cancel my stay. Claimed she did not have permission to offer refunds. Took my room key but refused to give me any paperwork. Called manager who came in and said "I don't need any paperwork because they have cameras". Had Expedia call to authorize a cancellation of my booking (which I had made only three hours prior) but they refused to grant it. Explained I would need to file incident report with the police if they refused to give me proper documentation of my transaction. They didn't care. Police were unable to convince owner to issue the refund or to even write acknowledgement that I wasn't staying there. Expedia told me they normally cannot issue refund in this scenario except for how rude and unreasonable the operator was when they spoke, so I got a 100% refund but I was lucky to get it. DO NOT STAY HERE unless saving $10 is your only way to survive and you are willing to have very, very low standards. You are 100% GUARANTEED to be disappointed and this operator will give you NOTHING back once you book. You've been warned.

So Overall it was a pleasant stay! The problem was the mold in the bathroom. I notified the staff and they immediately came to check it out. Other than that No problems. The bed was SUPER comfortable and the room was very clean. Check-in was great and the staff were very pleasant. I would recommend.

I reserved the room for four days (Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun) checking out on Monday morning. Upon our arrival /Checkin we received our room key and was directed to our room. Housekeeping was just finishing up and leaving the room when we got to the door. The toilet had just been flushed and was not filling. I informed them of the issue, which they responded with its filling, just very slow. That was an understatement, 15 to 20 minutes before it could be flushed again, not ideal conditions considering there were three people staying there. WiFi worked the first night only, reported that to the desk on Friday, but nothing was fixed before we left on Monday. Even though we were charged and paid for the four nights at Checkin, they only activated the room key for two nights, so when we returned on Saturday evening, we could not get in the room. The front desk apologized to my wife for the error and activated the key for one additional night. I had to return to the front desk and request that the key be activated for the additional night. Clerk initially stated that we only staying for three nights. After I insisted that he pull up my invoice, he agreed that we were staying four nights and updated the room key. Personally, I don’t think I’ll be staying there again.

Even though we were charged and paid for the four nights at Checkin, they only activated the room key for two nights, so when we returned on Saturday evening, we could not get in the room. The front desk apologized to my wife for the error and activated the key for one additional night. I had to return to the front desk and request that the key be activated for the additional night. Clerk initially stated that we only staying for three nights. After I insisted that he pull up my invoice, he agreed that we were staying four nights and updated the room key. Personally, I don’t think I’ll be staying there again.

Very poorly done renovations, poorly cleaned, and lots of shady people in and out of the hotel at late hours. Groups gathered in the parking lot which made me uncomfortable taking my children in and out. No amenities. WiFi was in and out our whole stay. Extremely flat pillows and when asked for extras were lectured about not allowing extra guests in the rooms. Didn’t have enough towels in the room. It was very loud at all hours of the day and night which seemed ridiculous considering I didn’t see a single child my entire 3 night stay. I didn’t expect a 5 star hotel at the price, but I’ll never stay in the area again after feeling unsafe during this stay. 3 cop cars and an ambulance were present at the hotel as we were leaving for dinner one night. Again I have stayed at some “cheap” hotels in my life but this place needs shut down or completely new management. They also took an additional security deposit which I felt they should have paid me a security deposit just to stay there! We’re not from the area and traveled 9 hours to visit a sick family member in a local hospital. It was a real let down to spend downtime in such a overall nasty hotel room, especially with my children. If it weren’t an emergency situation where we made the trip last second in a rush and in a pinch (we’re low on money because we’re planning a wedding) I would have walked right back out. The staff had a note on the window that they would be back in an hour, like I was just supposed to wait a hour after a long trip for them. Then when they arrived he was extremely rude, to the point that after waiting an hour I just left and slept in my car.

I was 45 minutes when I was called that my 80 year old mother was rushed to the hospital with a broken hip. I called the hotel and told them I would be back as soon as I had her dealt as I was there for business and will be coming in for several days a month. I was informed that they wouldn’t charge me for the room but that hotels.com MIGHT and that they have no control over hotels.com but they wouldn’t charge me. Well I call hotels.com and they said they had nothing to do with it and that they would reach out to Red Roof and call me back. Well I know this will shock you no one ever called me back AND guess who was charged. Very disappointed in BOTH companies. The lack of customer service and compassion these days is amazing. I hope someday they go through what I have AND that they get treated the same way.

Nasty, trashy, sketchy. Worst hotel experience ever. Looks like run down dorm rooms. Room has very bad smell. Killed multiple large bugs in the room. Could hear everything through the walls. Smoke detector beeping they couldn’t be bothered to change the battery in. Doors started slamming around 5am. Water stain & bubble on ceiling from room above. Was nervous more water would come in. Tv remote didn’t have battery cover on it showing how little they care. Sheets smelled of BO like they hadn’t been washed. Water tasted nasty. Front desk called and interrupted me to move my car after I parked saying I parked in a “bike parking” spot. Went to move my car and saw zero signage saying this and spot was same size as all the others. Meanwhile they didn’t care about the car parked two spots over all night that was completely straddling the line taking up two spots. Lots of police activity in the area.

Great hotel for the money you just can't beat it. I stayed in all of these up and down University and this one is definitely got my approval. Friendly and helpful staff. Only shortfall and says it's just a terrible location. Would not recommend bringing the little ones.

Pictures are very deceiving. Hotel was very run down. Ice machine didn't work(the only 1 onsite). No phone, no coffee pot, no shampoo in room. Overall not a hotel i would recommend to anyone.

Really old building so fixtures are rickety and shower was nearly chest level. Toilet ran all night yet didnt flush when needed. Jiggle handle. Dingy towels hung in bathroom. People running place were nice though.
