Stayed here on business as part of a small exhibition event also in the hotel. Not my first visit and overall the hotel did seem better than last time (about 3 years ago). The upgrades in the bedrooms are much better although the mattress was exceptionally hard. The main issues were with service in the bar/restaurant area. Very hard to find someone to serve, I had a pint of beer which had a lot of 'stuff' floating in it (which they did change when raised with them) and food which had been pre-arranged was over 30 minutes late. Seems they need more staff. Also, only one (very small) lift is working so it can be a long wait to get a lift during busy times.

If you looking something near airport it’s a great spot. They have venue next to hotel which gets noisy. Descent room with big tv. Property itself dated but ok. Little town high street not far away with local shops

This was a fun hotel. They host huge dinners and parties for the community. You might think these would be a bother for travelers, but they are handled well so were not a problem for us. The sink in our bathroom didn't drain well. It's a very old building. We stayed there two nights, however, and were comfortable. This hotel is close to the Riverside Museum, a great museum of transport which we recommend.

The hotel is being renovated. We were placed to the part where the renovation was taking place. The smell of the paint wasn't pleasant. The bathroom was old but neat. The room was clean, with new carpet and big TV.

Had a great nights stay at the Normandy Hotel before traveling to Spain. The staff were very helpful. Booked up food and it was excellent as well. The minibus took us to the airport and picked us back up and parking was no problem for the week. All in all would book this again when travelling from Glasgow airport.

Location to GLA airport was great and staff was excellent, grounds were quite nice. The building inside, especially the carpet, was dirty and smelled of old smoke. New carpet and bedding would go a long way to improve. If you need a place close to stay for the airport, this functionally works great for that purpose. If you’re looking for a clean place to stay near Glasgow, there are definitely better choices.

I only stayed the 1 night and got there very late, so I don't have a lot of details. The front desk personnel were very nice - I just happened to arrive at a VERY BUSY time (Friday night, possibly some sports teams were there?). The room was acceptable - my bathroom had large water stains/damage on the wall between the sink and the toilet - and the large towel and tub both had curly hair(s) on it, so I did not take a shower. I didn't report this at the time as I was leaving to catch a plane. Overall, it was meh, but the price was also kinda meh, so it matched. If necessary, I would stay there again.

Rooms were dated, mold on tiles, carpet bar in middle of room. Booked executive twin room, definitely not executive! Brown furnishings walls, scared to use electricity sockets as the fittings were loose. Down stairs was lovely furnished, food waa delicious

While it is an older hotel it was clean and tidy and staff were friendly and helpful. The only issues for me was the thin walls and poor hot water. We could hear people in the next room talking and the showers werent very hot.

The hotel had apparently been refitted, but the beds felt like they were designed by someone who thinks rocks are too soft. Seriously, I like a firm mattress, but this was like sleeping on a plank! They did provide me with a couple of thin toppers after I asked, but it was like putting a Band-Aid on a broken leg. Honestly, I would’ve preferred an older room with a decent bed. The newly refurbished room looked okay at first glance, but then the bathroom revealed its true colors: shoddy workmanship galore! Rails were hanging off, holes left unfilled, and the floor was squelchier than a wet sponge. To top it all off, the tiles weren't even grouted. A true masterpiece of “I-don’t-care” construction. Dinner was a comedy of errors. They often forgot the starters, made us wait ages, or just didn’t have items in stock. And breakfast? It started at 6:30 am, but good luck getting eggs. There were either none available, or they were so undercooked they looked like a scene from a horror movie – eggs should not be that snotty. On the bright side, a few staff members were genuinely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, this was balanced out by others who could give grumpiness a run for its money. Overall, it's okay for a one-night stay if you're flying out the next day – but only if you pack your sense of humor and maybe a sleeping bag. 😅

I usually read reviews before booking but this one slipped by me and i didn’t read the reviews. The room is extremely small just enough room for the bed. There is no dresser or desk just a bed night table and a rack to hang things. The bathroom size was functionally enough to do what’s needed. The atmosphere of the hotel hallway and check in area feels like you’re in a hostel.

I booked a room for two adults and one child, but the room was tiny and only had one double bed. The hotel was fully booked, mainly with lots and lots of hen parties. The noise did not stop all night, until about 4am. The room was really hot as well. Would avoid this hotel.

We attended a Christmas party night, long delays of 1hr each of menu starter, main and dessert, we got that fed up we skipped the dessert. Badly organised. The sheets and bathroom were clean. Check in/out was smooth and the staff were pleasant. The room very small and shabby/dated, although reviews say some have been revamped. The bed was uncomfortable. We struggled with parking - there were plenty of spaces but we arrived during a function. Lots of smokers hovering around the entrance. We only booked as part of an airport parking deal, so only there for one night.

Room was clean an in good shape. Shuttle driver and bar staff were excellent. One of the front desk staff was excellent but another should not be working with people - she didn't want to answer questions and came across as hostile & rude both times I interacted with her. Drills and hammers heard in evening up to 10pm from floor below. I really like the location and services offered here. Staff in the past as well as all but but one person this time were excellent. Given the poor front desk person and inexplicable evening construction noise, will look at other places next time before booking here. Have liked the place in the past but am unsure it's direction now.

Very nice hotel. Exterior looks like the 1970's a bit but don't be put off, inside is modern, clean, and we'll put together. Staff are friendly and helpful, parking is free and the location is good for the airport and central Paisley. Food is good, and they have a vegan menu if that's your thing.
