We had a lovely time. Relaxing view from our room. Even though we upgraded the room needs a little improvement but a good size and clean. Pool and leisure facilities well kept and easy to use. Bar meals and wine very pricey. Staff were all polite and helpful. No air con. Would stay again if in the area.

The staff are well trained, attentive and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. The amenities are excellent. I particularly loved that all the function spaces are named after scientists, engineers and inventors and we spent some time trying to identify who was famous for what!

The hotel is pleasant enough but really letting itself down on the menu. All the training courses and conferences should suggest that there is a load of people coming and staying, so why is the menu so dull with over 60% fried crap with chips?
