Very noisy rooms. When we asked reception to swap our original room, which was surrounded by a lift plant room and air handling units, we were told all the “quiet rooms” had already gone. This struck us as odd seeing as the primary purpose of a hotel is to sleep there overnight, why aren’t all the rooms “quiet”?!

Stayed at the Park Royal for 1 night, didn’t use the facilities or eat there so can’t comment on them. Check in was efficient and Elizabeth on reception was really lovely, very considerate of the fact that I was a female travelling alone. Room was spacious and very clean, bed was very comfortable - decor is tired and could do with some updating

thought the restaurant dinner menu was overpriced and the choice wasn't brilliant. also no atmosphere as the restaurant was empty. I think the lack of choice put a lot of people off and this was evidenced by a lot of take aways being delivered and taken to rooms.

Nice hotel with good spa facilities close to Stockon Heath if you want an evening out. We didn't use the hotel bar or restaurant so I can't comment on those
