Very nice location, beautiful grounds. Lot of parking space. Nice size rooms. Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical.

Loads of parking and friendly very comfortable hotel. Rooms large with tea/coffee facilities in room. Bathroom had a large deep bath and a separate shower. Lovely view over the golf course. Reception very friendly but staff in restaurant not fully attentive had had to go and get menus myself even though we had been seated 10 mins earlier. Food itself was fantastic. Morning breakfast staff really attentive and food selections and quality very good. Overall a lovely hotel.

There was nothing not to love. It’s a beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. The staff were very helpful, food lovely. I sat by the window and watching golfers golfing. Would love to come back.

Stayed for 3 weeks whilst away for work in Bodmin. Nice comfortable rooms, cleaned daily. Staff very friendly. Nice bar area serving good quality food all day. Great breakfast choice and quality. Faultless.

Very quiet both inside and out. Lovely views and peaceful location. Spacios clean room...very good shower and facilities. Plenty of safe parking. Had our evening meal in the bar/restaurant and it was excellent. Only stayed one night but would have been very happy to stay longer.

Lovely break can’t fault hotel staff were welcoming and friendly hotel in a lovely setting quiet and peaceful, a good base for exploring the surrounding areas as we weren’t there for the golf. Hotel good for mobility my husband uses a buggy as he can’t walk very well Amenities suited him very well with lift access our room was comfortable and clean would be happy come back again in future

Very last minute booking. Recently my mother passed away and I was feeling very down, so my husband booked a surprise trip for me, so we could go to my favourite place in Cornwall. Wonderful greeting when we arrived in the pouring rain, lovely staff (Mandy) and when we needed something a little later on, again, a fantastic reception(Jo),so helpful. In the morning we explained to one of the staff (Mel) that I’d lost mum, as she could see I was upset. How wonderful she was with me, so, so kind. All the staff were very caring. Honestly wish I’d not been so upset but I guess that’s life, but all the staff were absolutely amazing and so understanding. The room was great, with lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom and a fab shower too. Very clean and tidy room and a comfy bed. And the breakfast was amazing too, along with great views of the golf course. We will definitely return and a big shout out to the wonderful staff.

Lovely friendly staff. Views across the golf course are great. The room was very nice. It had new carpet, but the walls were scuffed and could do with painting. The bathroom was lovely and clean, but the sink had trouble draining and the hand towel holder was loose on the wall. The breakfast was very good, the Cornish full breakfast was served piping hot and was delicious. Had to eat in the bar because the bistro was closed. The bar is fine but the bistro would have made it a more special place to eat. The food was good but not memorable. There were no chef specials. A good selection of wine, beers and drinks.

My stay at Lanhydrock was very short but good. I wasn’t there for the golf but just needed to overnight in the area. Check was fast & efficiently organised by a charmingly helpful lady. She booked a table for me & my niece & 9 year old great niece to join me for dinner. The room was spacious & well arranged with everything you need to hand. The view from the French Windows out onto the golf course & lake was very pretty. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were of sturdy foam & not very snuggly. Bathroom was spotless & well supplied with towels & tiny shower gel, shampoo & body lotion. Dinner was very tasty & served surprisingly swiftly. Not cheap but it was good food & terrific service. A delightful waitress who was really fun & helpful. All in all it was a pleasant hotel and perfectly comfortable for a single woman to stay in. Would happily recommend. Even for non golfers.

Very friendly, helpful staff, EV charger worked, reasonably convenient for the Eden Project. Small single beds for a solo traveller, would have preferred one small double but I guess those are less common in a golf hotel.

This was a lovely tranquil place to stay, highly recommended. Would stay here again, restaurant staff were lovely and the food was delicious. We had the Panfried Salmon, would have liked more vegetables tho. But all in all a lovely place to stay

Wanted aa countryside base for visits in Cornwall, esp Bodmin area. Good price, so booked. Everyone friendly and helpful. "Premier Inn" facilities in room. Food menu limited "pub-level" but hot and very tasty. Golfers in bar could be loud and uncouth, but its their club, so ... Would return if in the area
