Staff was great! Friendly and accommodating. Room was okay. Tub had rust stains. Not happy about the $19 per day parking.

The pool was closed, no breakfast as advertised, elevators got stuck .

Went to the wrong counter first, but found the correct one. Parking fee came as a surprise to me, but I understand why they had to charge. Pool and fitness area were too crowded on the weekend to use comfortably. Breakfast was decent, although it was crowded on Sunday morning. Room didn’t have shampoo, but had extra body wash. Remote didn’t want to work. Overall, it was a clean place to sleep and while there was a decent amount of road noise, it wasn’t too bad.

This is a very nice hotel with a super friendly staff! Very clean and comfortable except our AC didn’t work well. The room never got cooler than 72, which is a bit warm for me. Great breakfast selection, too. Easy walk to Whiskey Row. Short drive to other attractions. Having to pay $19 a day for parking is a negative. Hampton Inn right across the street has ample, parking.

Steve at the front desk was awesome during check in. The downside was the breakfast never changed, really from day to day and lacked breakfast essentials like waffles and syrup, jelly for toast etc. Lastly, the hotel does need some work. Ice machines not working, Key card readers not working to the outside pool deck, one treadmill not working and workout room had no wipes or spray to wipe down machines, a door handle falling off in the stairwell. Not what I expected from a Marriott hotel.

Hotel was very nice, staff very friendly and helpful, the sleep was not great due to all throughout the night you could hear all of the cars going by, at one point around 3 a.m there was constant motorcycles racing through which even being on the top floor was still VERY LOUD. The indoor pool, which was the whole reason for picking this hotel, was EXTREMELY cold and not bareable. Overall the cleanliness and looks of the hotel room was great, staff and breakfast and was nice as well. If you are looking for a good night’s rest, I do not recommend.

We liked the people, especially at check in. We like the clean and comfortable room. We did not care for the choices at breakfast. We did not like having to pay for parking when we paid for the room. Parking should be included.

The room wasn't very clean. There was hair on the shower walls and the ceiling was spackled but it was unsanded and unpainted.

The bathroom needs some serious attention. So much rust, the wood in bottom of the door was chipping off in big chunks, mildew in the shower. It looks gross even though it looked like housekeeping did clean it, the stuff just need to be fixed. Also, one of the outlets at desk/ lamp did not work. Otherwise, the stay was fine. I was mostly happy that it was a safe, convenient location and we were able to walk to the concert at the Yum stadium that we came for and they had convenient, affordable parking!

This hotel was filthy. The carpet was so dirty, the bathroom floors were gross and the whole place smelled of mold. The ceilings needed serious attention. The front desk was rarely staffed so there was never someone around for assistance. This led to homeless individuals sleeping in the lobby. The hotel was booked by families there for dance competitions, soccer and other sports activities so it didn’t feel like the safest place. We will never stay there again.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, good continental breakfast

The staff we I cam encountered with not friendly. There was just 1-older lady in the evening that was nice. All others were Not! The room was disappointing for the price I paid. It was dirty, the shower was gross looked like it was half put together. Faucet was about to come off the wall in the shower when turned on.

Nice property. This one uses a heavily scented deodrrant cleaner. My asthmatic daughter immediately began coughing upon entering the room. We requested a new room, which was initially resisted because they were full, and they would have to reclean our room. However they did show me another room that wasn't so heavily deodorized my daughter could tolerate. The room was nicely decorated and maintained. The pool was slightly cool, but I like a warm pool.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean, and beds were comfortable. Very quiet and good breakfast!

My neck and upper back have 5 beg bite bump caused by bedgugs. Also, blankets and sheets are not cleaned at all with dirty spots and someone's hairs

Hotel was located close enough to walk to Main street. Room was clean. Front desk employees were very nice. Only downside:Shower was very slippery and water seeped out the bottom of the shower door. I reported it and the slowly draining sink to the front desk when we left.

Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the bed was terrific. Even the room coffee was good.

We opened the door to our suite to be greeted by what appeared to be a large vomit stain on the carpet. Because we were staying 2 nights we opted to upgrade to the suite thinking it would give us more space & comfort, guess I should have questioned how you create a suite with 350SF of space, only 35SF more than a king room. You had to squeeze between the heating unit & the bed (literally !) breakfast was ok, always love the waffel makers that some chains offer. Location is GREAT, staff were friendly.

The room had an unpleasant odor to it. Very noticeable on first entry. The bed was comfortable. TVs worked, although we didn’t use them much. Couch and chair were just ok. Some of the usb chargers were broken. The arrangement of the bed made it a bit difficult to enter from the wall side due to the small space, and only one side of the bed had easy access to outlets, the other was down behind the table.

The fridge was froze up but they got us another one.

Our room was loud. Second floor right over the air conditioning units. The room had a rusted tub and the TV was blurry because os 5 white lights . Bed was comfortable and the staff was accommodating for refilling towels and coffee.

Basic and Clean hotel. Breakfast option re good. Internet connection was poor, kept dropping out

Their couch pull out bed was very uncomfortable and the springs gave me a lot of pain in my body, Would be good if they supply a mattress topper other than that I would give them a 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Staff went above and beyond on our arrival. We arrived early and they were able to get us in our room. With our trip being a sisters trip (3 of us) we needed to use the sofa bed and the condition of the mattress was awful. It is in pieces, the very worn top, cushiony part is ripped off and the springs are exposed. We made do with just covering the sofa and sleeping without pulling the bed part out.

Great property with a fantastic staff. Very clean, very hospitable, great service, great breakfast. Every person that I interacted with was so friendly and so helpful. Highly recommend.

We DID NOT get a key to our room because the equipment to make keys was broken. We had to escorted in our room every time. We ask for the option to move us to the adjacent sister hotel SpringHill that is connected via a hallway, about 75 steps, but we were told by the manager that it was not possible because we made the reservation via Hotels.com. called the hotel customer service and was told there was a cancellation fee I had to pay, he did not know the amount of the fee and I had to get that info from the hotel people. We were forced to stay without a key, mind you this is late at night. The staff was very unpleasant and made us feel like it was our fault for booking with Hotels.com. We went out to eat and retuned after 11:30 pm, the night front desk person was worse than the earlier crew, escorted us to our room without asking for ID to confirm we were the guest for that room, it could have been anybody. She was NOT able to open our room door and did not who to call. My wife walked down the hallway and asked the front desk person at the SpringHills who came and kindly opened the door to our room. So, have you ever checked into a hotel that does NOT give you a key to your room ? By the way. We were not the only customers with that issue. What are you going to do about this ? As a consumer what other resource I have ? What are you going to do about the very rude, borderline obnoxious staff ? Since you run a hospitality business, shouldn't clients feel welcome?

The property was well maintained. The staff was professional and helpful. The breakfast was more than expected. Check-in and check-out were quick. It was walkable to my convention facility.

Overall experience was positive besides the very rude security guard in the parking lot. Maybe he was having a bad day

The hotel was very accommodating we arrived before normal check in times our room was ready so they let us check in. It was very convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful

Staff was very friendly, Trinity was fantastic!

The lady that checked us in was in the process of eating. It was obvious that getting back to her meal was more important than doing her job effectively. The property is connected to another Marriott hotel and was confusing as they have different elevators. We used the incorrect elevators initially simply due to the fact that we were not informed by the desk clerk about how to go to our room. Again, more concerned with her meal! Very unprofessional. The lady that checked us out bordered on being rude when I asked for a receipt. She emphatically informed me that “since I booked thru a third party” no receipt would be offered by the hotel….yet, I subsequently received one via email shortly after I had the conversation with her. Couldn’t she simply have told me that? It was a receipt from the hotel that I did receive after being informed I would need to contact the “third party”! Again, just not professional! We will stay elsewhere the next visit to Louisville!

Did not refund my reservation on expedia after the desk lady did not use it and charged me 2 times for 1 stay

Check in experience was awful. Service desk was not open. Sign said go to lobby to check in around the corner. Follow the signs. Absolutely no signs. Finally found the other lobby were told to go back to the other lobby. At this point we had to wait and additional 30 minutes to check in when we should have been first. Two people were staffed at the desk but only one was checking people in with a huge line of people waiting. Overall very negative experience with staff especially since we did the pre-check in to cut down on the check in time.

The staff was so kind, the breakfast served with pride, great location and great people.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Convention Center and has breakfast included. The staff were very helpful.

Nice place but area of town had a lot of homeless panhandlers so walking to restaurants was a little uncomfortable

Great location in downtown Louisville. Save a few hundred just by being a few blocks away from the more prestigious hotels. Breakfast in am was legit. Definitely would stay again if I come back to the area.

PROS: The location was excellent for walking downtown. Walked over to the Porch at the Marriott for dinner and drinks (recommend!). The parking garage was easily accessed, getting in and out of. Parking was no charge for booking through Expedia! The free breakfast was top notch. CONS: We stayed on the 2nd floor and we DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP all night due to constant police and/or ambulance sirens and helicopters flying over. I am to assume the helicopters were due to the hospital being so close and flying patients in and out all hours. This was on a Sunday night I cannot imagine how loud this would be on a weekend night. If you need to stay before a big work meeting or event or anything you need to be well rested for - I don't know that I would recommend. Perhaps a higher floor would be better?

Hotel was super convenient, 2 blocks from the convention center. Plenty of options for breakfast & big dishes were different everyday. Parking for me on expedia was $10 a day, paying to park thru the hotel was $19 a day so I was glad I paid for it online. Note, it's also attached to the Marriott by Springhill so you'll be walking through their lobby sometimes. Overall it was just myself and 3 kids.. had a great experience here, would recommend!

Very convenient hotel to downtown

I liked the proximity to downtown, but the street the hotel was on had a lot of traffic and it occasionally difficult to get a ride. But it was also nice to be able to walk.

Great stay, walkable to CC, has hot breakfast with eggs & meats, etc. This is a 2nd time stay, would stay a 3rd.

Really enjoyed everything. It was 20mins walking to the Big Four Bridge. Price was right and the breakfast was great. Really impressed.

We went downstairs for breakfast at 8:30 and there was no breakfast to be seen. And breakfast wasn’t supposed to end until 9:30. It didn’t even look like breakfast had been served.

Great stay my only complaint is that I specifically chose this hotel because they had a hot breakfast by 630am and I like protein before my early morning mtgs unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t ready by 630 so I was forced to eat cereal or bread like the normal continental breakfast a other hotel would provide. Kinda defeats the purpose of me choosing this location. Other than that everything was great! Clean and service was awesome.

Our room was very clean and quiet. Very impressed with the breakfasts- in addition to eggs, there was a different side all 3 days. Very tasty!!

Overall it was a good stay. Only needed to stay 2 nights, slept well, WiFi good, comfy bed, A/C worked, close proximity to where I needed to be. Good 24/7 snack area. The free breakfast was typical of a free breakfast, but there were enough choices to try to eat healthy enough, nothing gourmet, but I wasn’t expecting that.

Excellent Continental breakfast (nice hot sauce and salsa selection to go with your eggs if you're into that, yogurts and oatmeals and cereals and breakfast sandwiches and muffins and bagels; honestly a bit more than is expected during breakfast and the rooms and beds are clean. The pool isn't humongous, but it's warm and clean. My son forgot his wallet as we left and the hotel kept it in lost and found for him. Good experience.

The location was great. Inner room curtains were dirty and stained. The breakfast was quite pitiful.

Everything was great except the small refrigerator didn't work. And I wish breakfast went til 10 so we didn't have to rush around so early.
