At Quality Hotel 33, travellers often highlight the excellent breakfast and welcoming staff, but mention dated rooms and design quirks, some traffic or ventilation noise, and expensive parking; the semi-industrial location is outside the centre yet near the metro.

Stayed 7 nights

Good location, but let down by poor housekeeping We stayed 7 nights as a family, and while the location is genuinely convenient — well connected to the city with easy transport into central Oslo. The biggest problem was cleanliness. Our room was due to be serviced after the 4th night, and the housekeeping was frankly unacceptable: the room wasn't vacuumed, the toilet wasn't cleaned, and the dirty mugs weren't even replaced. For a hotel of this standard, that's a basic failure, and it left us very disappointed. Breakfast was good, but they offered noticeably more variety on weekends than on weekdays. If you can put out a better spread on Saturday and Sunday, there's no good reason weekday guests should get less — it comes across as cutting corners for the people staying during the week. The hotel restaurant was also underwhelming and not worth it — you're far better off heading into the city to eat, where the quality and choice are in a different league.
