We really liked this hotel and the A/C in summer. The 2 ev chargers weren't mentioned beforehand so it was a nice suprise to be able to slow charge at the hotel. The app for the chargers is Smappee. Staff were great. The food was great. We'd stay again.

Unclear that the pool is actually just access to a leisure centre which you have to get a pass to visit (this has to be done daily) the leisure centre was in fact not fully open during our stay. The bar served limited drinks. They didn’t give new toiletries or water every time they serviced the room. The staff stood in the corridors outside our room talking in the morning which was really irritating. Overpriced for what you get.

Property was perfect as we needed to be at a lunchtime do at the Imperial Hotel just 5 minutes up the road from this hotel. Centre of Barnstable was 5-6 minute walk away. Frontage of the hotel has tables and chairs to sit out. Had two cups of marvellous flat white coffee whilst sitting in the sun. We stayed in the Garden Court Rooms away from the main building. These looked over the car park. It was very quiet on the first night until 2 bouts of thunder and lightning woke us up! Second night unfortunately we had a group of lads shouting below our window at 2.45am and then having told them to politely shut up some drove away and we had one or two bounding up and down the stairs to the room next to ours. This was 03.45! We phoned reception. Found out the next morning that the police had been called. Presume it was all kicking off as England had won their match that night. Hotel very very apologetic but as we know it wasn’t their fault. Would certainly recommend this hotel, staff, room and breakfast all excellent and couldn’t fault it.

I thought that the hotel looked very nice and modern but there was a few stains on the floors. If you like to wear trackie bottoms this isn't the hotel for you as the staff are very nice at first glance but when I walked away from the desk after asking a question, I heard one member of staff say to another "that's the one I was on about". So they will judge you based off MY EXPERIENCE. I room was a little bit on the small side but was very comfortable, I also had sky tv in the room. The bathroom was nice an clean but at the bottom of the mirror there was all black stuff that was noticeable instantly. But overall I enjoyed my stay

Staff members were so polite, helpful and friendly. Great check in, the Hotel is beautiful and extremely clean, warm and welcoming. Bar staff were very polite and if not serving were cleaning and keeping it ship shape, food was excellent very high standard and quality. Room was cosy and comfortable and spotless. Breakfast service was excellent and again food was high standard. For a business stay it was fantastic, highly recommend. I will definitely go back to the Park for longer stay as a holiday. Well done to you all at The Park

It was a very pleasant hotel. Rooms were cleaned immaculately. During our stay, the night porter was the most helpful and courteous person you could hope to come across - he was excellent.

Garden Wing room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. The dining options were good. Check in and check out were quick. Just a note though that our wing smelt musty. Everything was clean but smelt mouldy. Ditto our ensuite.

One night stay, the staff were friendly, had a dessert which was nice , big portion. Good parking. The downfall was the bedroom, had a disgusting mouldy smell , that even with windows open would not go , it was awful . Bathroom floor was dirty with hair all over it, Only upside was bed was comfy and clean sheets . Grubby carpets and very dated furniture, very cramp .

Lovely hotel, modern and comfortable. Only minor issue was that I booked a double room and was given a room with twin single beds. As I was only here for 1 night I didn't make a fuss. Bed was comfortable and room was great. Water escaped from the shower though drenching the bathroom floor! Could do with a better shower screen. Food was good and staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was clean. Super comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. But the staff were absolutely incredible. Went above and beyond. Friendly with a sense of humour. A mini fridge magically appeared in my room without me asking when they saw I had brought milk and a cafetierre. I was walking the coast path and they let me leave my car there despite having checked out. Would definitely stay there again if I could move them to another stretch of the path.

A great welcome after a long delayed trip. Our room was excellent, clean tidy with comfortable beds & quality bedding. Super large walk in shower room. Breakfast was superb. Staff very helpful & friendly. The location is perfect for a 10 minute walk into Barnstaple town centre along the promenade by the river. An excellent stay, shame it was only for one night. Highly recommend.

Staff members were so polite, helpful and friendly. Great check in, the Hotel is beautiful and extremely clean, warm and welcoming. Bar staff were very polite and if not serving were cleaning and keeping it ship shape, food was excellent very high standard and quality. Room was cosy and comfortable and spotless. Breakfast service was excellent and again food was high standard. For a business stay it was fantastic, highly recommend. I will definitely go back to the Park for longer stay as a holiday. Staff very helpful & friendly. The location is perfect for a 10 minute walk into Barnstaple town centre along the promenade by the river. An excellent stay, shame it was only for one night. It was all excellent but what stood out for me was, a. The bathroom. Spotlessly clean, powerful shiwer, really hot water, plugs don't leak. B. The staff. Unfailingly friendly, helpful and patient. Nithing too much trouble.

Best thing about the stay is the staff who are excellent, as is everything generally. I like the park hotel for its location, but the list goes on... the rooms are comfortable and everything 'works'... All food options are good and tasty and the bar food offers excellent value. I'll be back... next week in fact :)

Another visit to The Park and it is still a great experience. The park view room was lovely. The staff were all friendly and courteous. The meals we had in the Seasons restaurant were perfectly cooked, nothing was too much trouble and the food was hot to the last mouthful. A great team of staff.

i stay regularly at The Park… and always come back. Its a comfortable hotel with good rooms and fantastic bar food - i tend to dine alone and find the bar options both tasty and hood value… Breakfast is also excellent and sets you up for the day… Will be back :)
